Dying Light Gamescom Trailer

This looks like it could be fun if only it weren't about zombies again....

The name Dying Light sounds like it could've been made about Vampires or Werewolves.

Which probably still leaves me stumped as Light has nothing to really do with Zombies.

Oh well, at least so far it looks better than Dead Island.

It looks like a huge open world. But if its huge like Saints Row or Grand Theft Auto, I probably wouldn't like running all over the place constantly avoiding death at every turn. Once more of the plot is revealed it could be a good game. And that guy has huge hops. He easily cleared 5 zombies by jumping right over the entire group. lol. I wish I could jump like that.

I think he used their heads as steps. Thats why it looks like he has hops... but even then, Jumping 5-6 feet is no easy task.

Those zombies must have some rigid necks for him to step all over their heads. It reminds me of those old samurai / ninja movies where the hero runs over a crowd by leaping from head to head.

Dying Light Gamescom Trailer Showcases 4-Player Co-Op. Up to 4 players will be able to team up to face the dangers of the day and the terrors of the night – two distinct sides of Dying Light’s gameplay – experiencing the intense story of Harran’s epidemic together. Dying Light is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in February 2015.

The mechanics look good, but I hope the co-op is the actual story mode and not a co-op zombie horde mode.. With the parkour in this game, I could see 4 players easily loosing track of where each other are in the frenzy of zombies.
