Here are some of the latest controversies after the fallout of Xbox One's handling of used games.
PS4 will also have DRM for used games?
http://kotaku.com/rumor-the-ps4-has-used-games-drm-509969406
"TV host and industry pundit Geoff Keighley has said on tonight's Bonus Round TV show that, according to his sources, Sony is looking at some form of digital rights management for the sale of used games."
Twitter rises up over rumored PS4 DRM
http://kotaku.com/twitter-rises-up-in-protest-over-the-ps4s-rumored-used-509984593
"Spurred by Keighley's words, numerous gamers on Twitter are currently bombarding Sony with messages about the PS4's supposed used games DRM. The campaign was started by NeoGAF user famousmortimer who, in a forum thread, asked people to tweet several key Sony personnel, among them Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, about their displeasure."
Retailers can charge whatever they want for Used Xbox One games.
http://kotaku.com/report-retailers-can-charge-whatever-for-used-xbox-one-509958661
"According to "retail sources", trade publication MCV is reporting that stores will be able to sell Xbox One games for whatever price they want.
The catch? Both Microsoft and the game's publisher will get a percentage of that sale."
Xbox One will be region locked
http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/26/report-xbox-one-will-be-region-locked/
"The Xbox 360 isn't completely region-locked – Microsoft currently allows studios to choose whether their games will work across regions"

Microsoft might be changing the entire used game market with their next console system the Xbox One. When a game is resold at a used game store like Gamestop, the retailer makes all the profit off the sale. In an attempt to get publishers and Microsoft a piece of those transactions, Microsoft might be putting strict limits on the transferring of physical games. In a report made by MCV, only retailers that have signed up with Microsoft will be allowed to resell used physical games.
If this ends up being true, then don't expect to be able to sell those used games on craigslist, ebay or at a garage sale. Unless you are a registered used seller with Microsoft, those already installed game discs will be nothing more than coasters to sit your drinks on.
None of this has been confirmed, but it does seem plausible. In fact, it could be the future of used game sales if Sony decides to adopt the same system.
There is also the possibility that Microsoft will put a stop to all used game sales for their console altogether and instead have an online MS run marketplace for the sale and transfer of used games.

The Xbox One could very well be more powerful than the Playstation 4 thanks to cloud computing. Official Xbox Magazine is reporting that for every Xbox One sold by Microsoft, there will be the equivalent of three additional console's CPU and storage available to each system by means of a constant internet connection to MS's cloud servers.

Of course this means if a game developer wants to take advantage of the Xbox One's powerful cloud servers, a constant internet connection will be required. This would mean that any or even all games made for the system could possibly require a constant internet connection.

.
But why didn't Microsoft mention this potential during their Xbox One reveal event?
This also raises more questions.. Could it be that Sony's Gaikai tech is even more powerful? Will the Xbox One still match up with Playstation 4 if Sony reveals computing potential with their cloud servers?
Sony has said that constant online connections are not required, does this mean all game developers are planning on utilizing the PS4's specs only and not the potential cloud specs?
Will this mean all future console games will come with a label indicating if a constant cloud connection is required or not? We'll have to wait for E3 to get all the details.
In the mean time, check out this video of Crysis 2 being played on a web browser thanks to Sony's Gaikai system:

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
