Kite 3,263 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 No hammer, no helmet, but still—the guy's a god, right? After photos started leaking from the set of Thor, Paramount and Marvel decided there was no point in holding back and so released the first official photo of Chris Hemsworth as the Thunder God. Check it out below—and start counting the days until May 20, 2011, when Thor hits theaters. http://scifiwire.com/2010/04/first-official-pic-of-chr.php i think he looks the part, but wont know untill we get better angles 1 Sledgstone reacted to this Quote Bruce Campbell: '' This place has more security then the Batcave ''
Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted May 1, 2010 Fans of the comic are thrilled, apparently. I don't have a boner, yet. Quote I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.
Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted May 2, 2010 I agree, we need more angles... but even then we won't be able to tell how good it might be until we get to watch a trailer.

Kite 3,263 Report post Posted July 14, 2010 i think the Actor will have to prove a lot, Unlike most Super heroes, Thor never had his own cartoon or 70's tv show or previous film in need of a reboot, so people dont know what to expect and that uncertainty falls on the actor Personally i think he looks the role, he has a norse look to him, Now all that is needed is the acting chops, If an Aussie can pull off Wolverine, i believe this guy will do Thor proud Quote Bruce Campbell: '' This place has more security then the Batcave ''
Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted July 15, 2010 UgbsV6aTHts lmao. If you think thats bad, you should check out the "Mighty Hercules" cartoon that came out even earlier than that. X'Dbtw, thats a good picture. The armors look pretty good.

Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted July 18, 2010 Hopkins IS a badass no doubt, but to see him like that makes him look like a bobble-head to be honest. Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted July 18, 2010 I just hope he doesn't remind me of Hannibal at any point in the movie. X'D
Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 The place he's PERFECT was in The Wolfman. That movie has such potential, and yet it disappointed. Hopkins played a ruthless dad. Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 I'm glad to see that. I was hoping to see some actual elaborate sets. Any idea if hes going to be fighting Loki in this movie? I'm assuming there will be a chunk of the movie that takes place on earth considering that there has to be some kind of connection at the end that will get Thor to meet with Shield or Tony Stark.
