i think the Actor will have to prove a lot,

Unlike most Super heroes, Thor never had his own cartoon or 70's tv show or previous film in need of a reboot, so people dont know what to expect and that uncertainty falls on the actor

Personally i think he looks the role, he has a norse look to him,

Now all that is needed is the acting chops,

If an Aussie can pull off Wolverine, i believe this guy will do Thor proud

I'm glad to see that. I was hoping to see some actual elaborate sets. Any idea if hes going to be fighting Loki in this movie? I'm assuming there will be a chunk of the movie that takes place on earth considering that there has to be some kind of connection at the end that will get Thor to meet with Shield or Tony Stark.
