But perhaps more importantly, the events this Saturday are an amazing opportunity to help build a long-term movement for clean energy. At the end of the day, the invariable question will be, "What can we do next?" And we have a good answer. The Global Work Party on October 10th, 2010 will be focused on solutions--it's a practical day of action for people to get to work and reduce Carbon emissions in our communities. When you attend a Hands Across the Sand event this weekend, you will be surrounded by like-minded people who are eager to take action. Take the time to talk to some of your neighbors and start planning for a 10/10/10 Work Party in your area.
