The Raptors successfully launch multiple drones in two groups. The Galactica and the Colonial One DRADIS immediately register the two groups of drones as two Battlestars. Galactica jumps into the upper atmosphere and scrambles Vipers during free-fall (after known as the 'Adama Maneuver'). Wreathed in fire and about to crash to the ground, Galactica jumps away while the Vipers bombard the guard tower and landing field gate, allowing the population access to the ships.
