Personally I think it looks cool.

I was wondering how it would look as the original design is very chunky and slow, though very nice for its time, would look out of place.

The new look reminds me of Cyborg Raiden from MGS

Kind of looks like Batman without a cape. Based on the look, I'm assuming he'll be a faster ninja like robocop compared to the old tank like sluggish moving old one.

Lacks that metallic finish that makes Robocop look like a robot. Kinda makes me hope it turns out to be bad so I don't mind skipping it.

I think how we imagine robots now and how they did in the 80's reflects the changes,

I think there will be more emphasis on his speed. Being a walking tank that gets shot to shit seems almost silly,

Good points. I'd like to see robocop have a metallic shine like the old version, but even that doesn't make sense in todays day and age. Everyone would see him coming from a distance and shoot an rpg at him.

What they need for this movie is a good plot tho... Even now if I see Robocop 3 on tv, I cringe in disappointment.

Also keep in mind that Iron Man has had a Metallic Look since the 1960s. And I don't remember stating anything about wanting Robocop to move slowly.

All I want is for Robocop to look like a Robot. Not act like he's Heavy Arms from Gundam Wing.

Or worse, look like another generic remake in a rubber suit. Just let that rubber suit idea X-Men stole from Batman die a horrible, horrible death.

Robocop look = fail. I mean, the classic looks clunky BUT mean at the same time. This looks like a replica of the Mass Effect armor.
