Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted February 4, 2014 Hmmm.. It will make a great defense.. but I wonder how well it will work on a rainy day. In rain, all those droplets could disrupt or refract the laser.. On the other hand, maybe the laser is so powerful it cuts through rain and clouds? What if they could modify this into a submarine weapon.. Imagine a completely stealth sub that could laser attack an enemies hull and not give away its position. DeathscytheX 9,732 Report post Posted February 4, 2014 A drone above the clouds? Fast deployment method. Refraction from rain shouldn't be an issue, a blizzard is another story though. Quote GET A NEW FUNK ON BEFORE YOU GET DUMPED ON!
Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 I wonder how long it will be until these laser guns are on all the numerous GPS satellites in orbit.. Then the NSA could tap into those, know where anyone with a smartphone is and then zap them.
