HKofsesshoumaru 673 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 Am I all alone here when it comes to playing the witcher games? I played the first one on the PC which was based off the book The Last Wish. The witcher 2 came to XBox 360 and was also based off the book series. Now The Witcher 3 is coming out for the new xbox that just came out. This is a RPG adventure game filled with a vivid virtual world and unforgettable chracters u meet through out the game. I like the idea of the alchemy but I found it to be a pain to use at times. You can also set traps and bombs none of which I have fully taken advantage of. Overall I found the Witcher games to be hours and hours of game play that I enjoyed. DeathscytheX 9,732 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 I've seen gaming sites pump it up. I don't know much about it. I never did get into it. Is it a turned base RPG or Action RPG? DeathscytheX 9,732 Report post Posted March 10, 2014 Turn based RPGs relies on turn based fighting... meaning you choose your attack, wait to see if it is successful, and then the CPU attacks you, you cannot attack until the CPU has had its turn. (Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Earthbound, Super Mario RPG) Action based RPGs vary in style from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, in which you choose your moves in advance while the action happens on screen without waiting for a turn, to Mass Effect/Diablo where you fight in real time, you do not have to wait for anyone to make a move, and you can attack and defend at your desire... the action never stops for a turn.
