Its probably why most people gravitate to sniping in BF games because its not reliant on RNG, and more on aiming skills. BF1 didn't have true DMR weapons either since they didn't exist compounding the issue. With BF5 most likely being WWII, and the era being dominated by automatic weapons, I'd expect the likes of the MP40, Thomson, STG-44, FG-42, and other to be more reliable in aiming. They'll probably bump up the recoil and adjust the bullet velocity/range accordingly to stop SMG sniping... at least I hope. The only thing that should have RNG spread is unmounted LMGs. Its boots on the ground taking place between Blops 2 and 3 with precursor specialists that were in 3. 3 Zombie maps on day one, and a battle royale mode called Blackout. I'm sure it'll have a battle royal mode to. There are a lot of positives like predictive recoil. But they've made this game to be more team focused like a R6S lite. Its just not going to work for a franchise full of dudebro casuals. You're either going to get steam rolled by a team that communicates, or you're going to have wildly inconsistent matches. 5v5 is a downgrade. I'm also normally not one to care about a single player campaign being excluded, but for COD its a bit different and its a shame too. Strider Hiryu 2,704 Report post Posted May 20, 2018 You can't actually blame them with how successful R6S is, it's pretty much the king of team based tactical shooters atm though, based on what little I know because I really have no interest in COD anymore, this is probably the worst decision they could of made. COD will never be team focused no matter how hard you try, to many dudebro casuals and trihards play COD and as well all know from experience team based content in COD never actually works because no one ever works as a team (which is why Search and Destroy was objective based TDM after COD4, saddened me greatly since that's my favorite mode). Those who do will always win (a sad truth of R6S and one of the main reasons I stopped playing, I love the game to death but no one ever wants to communicate on console and it's fucking sad) and it will frustrate those that want to old COD run and gun experience. Focusing on Zombies and a probable BR mode is also entirely stupid but it's Activision so are we all really that surprised? The exclusion of the campaign is probably a good move on their part. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed COD4 and WaW's campaigns but you have to admit they were poorly written and poorly put together. Honestly people have been complaining that they should just stick to multiplayer and now that they are I'm confused as to why we're everyone is having a shit fit.
