Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted December 7, 2018 It shows nothing of the plot tho... The suspense. 1 DeathscytheX reacted to this
DeathscytheX 9,732 Report post Posted December 8, 2018 I'm hyped for the movie for sure, but there was nothing exciting in this trailer. 50% of it is Stark talking about dying. I'm already ready for the next one. Killmonger brefily showing up was probably the best part. Maybe I'm getting old and grouchy... its like the GoT trailer, everyone's excited... I am too!! But I felt nothing watching a table of statues turn frosty and burn. 1 Sledgstone reacted to this Quote GET A NEW FUNK ON BEFORE YOU GET DUMPED ON!
DeathscytheX 9,732 Report post Posted April 27, 2019 This was about as good of an end to a decade of movies as you could ask for. People can cry about certain characters not getting enough screen time, but the characters that mattered and that were core to the story got the focus. There was only one really stupid part that they just did to do it, I had to roll my eyes, but other than that, it was an excellent time. Spoiler When Tony Stark dies, the whole theater was blubbering. I shed some tears in public for probably the first time ever. What a brutally emotional scene... especially with the whole pay off with Peter Parker. The MCU started with Iron Man, and ended with him. What a great character Downy Jr. portrayed. When you have this many years invested into a character, its hard not to cry when he dies so selflessly... The whole "girl power" scene was so stupid and cringeworthy. 🙄 Seriously, we didn't need to marginalized all these great female characters for some "yeah we are women!" scene. And it wasn't even the scene itself that was bad, it was the fact that Captain Marvel fucking blew up Thanos' ship single handedly and now she needs an escort from a bunch of scrubs with no powers? Oh boy.... talk about lame. It could have been handled better.. like without Capt Marvel they could have done that at a different time and it would have been cool... because she sure as hell didn't need their help when she could take a direct headbutt from Thanos without flinching. 1 Sledgstone reacted to this Quote GET A NEW FUNK ON BEFORE YOU GET DUMPED ON! Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted May 3, 2019 It was a good movie. The finale was epic and it was great closure for such a long ongoing plot line. Spoiler Fat Thor wtf. His depression wrecked him. I'm sad to see black widow dead as much as I am Tony Stark. With how it ended I hope Thor will be in guardians of the galaxy 3. 1 DeathscytheX reacted to this
DeathscytheX 9,732 Report post Posted May 4, 2019 After 11 years though, I'm burnt out. I don't think I can get excited about anymore MCU movies, plus I don't have faith they'll be any good. I started skipping movies half way through this multiverse, and watched enough to know what was going on fully in Infinity War and End Game. Quote GET A NEW FUNK ON BEFORE YOU GET DUMPED ON!
