He didn't last long, but he looked total badass in the Trigun series (Not Maximum) BTW, youcan find manga in practically any bookstore. In the manga, when Knives is reborn he literally tears Legato apart. For the rest of the manga until he is killed by Vash...Legato is trasported around inside a floating coffin. No, he's not the same guy as Knives he's just moron that I swear thinks Knives is a prophet or something. He's also the one that wrote "Knives" in the town, It was not Knives himself that did that. The funny thing is that to me the whole rivelry between the two brothers was caused by ...ummm....crap....,I can't remember her name now its been some time sense I'v seen the show, the girl that Vash is stary eyed over during the whole thing. Again please correct me if I'm wrong about any of this (and please explain) I tend to be a little hard headed. She protected them when the rest of the crew wanted to kill them, and she raised them as her own children...but she made the mistake of teaching them especially Vash, her niaeve beliefs that everything is good, and that you never have to kill and the world can exsist in perfect peace and love. I know it's nice to hope for...but it's a fools hope. Knives I think knew that, but Vash was so clingy and believed so much in Rem, he never, or refused to see the truth. They destroyed the earth and Knives thought that they would continue to destroy until nothing was left. That I think is why he did what he did. Legato is the one that has Vash's arm, but that's only explained in the manga. Legato is just plain psycho, in my personal opinion.
