The Rin scenes are really cute, when she cried for Misha mama it was so sad All of the characters seem to be ic, even when you're "changing" them. I see how Sesshomaru is becoming more like his father, so his father gets his wish after all The bad guys are great. I love having at least one crazy bastard in a story (Odoku) and Azuki just seems plain evil. I felt so bad for poor Misha good thing Sessy was there to make her feel all better I like how the tet you're working with has become so close to each other. I like the Sessy Rin interaction. You can really tell how much he loves her and how well he understands her. The fight on the beach was great "Your head is next" very Sessy indeed.

So..

how did you come up w the o.c.'s and whats up with the Kingisms? char-u tree and dan-dhin are pretty obvious, but what about the poor unfortunate creatures that don't know SK's stuff.

I'll guess the underlying theme is adapt or die? I want to hear what the english lit proffesor and the shrink in your head think of the story

edit: I don't see anything wrong with the love scene. It's squeeky clean compared to some of the stuff I have written

I have the first couple sub chapters of The Scarlet Field of Can'-Ka No Rey done. I still have a few scenes to do; miscelanious things and the showdown and whatnot. I've been bizy the past few days and will prolly be tied up till Mondayish, but I'll see how much I can get done in the evenings (10 to 2).

you make it sound like I'm writing porn. there wouldnt even be love scenes if it wasnt important to the story. Misha's virtue and Sessy's tude about mortals undergo changes withen the story. Keh! can you say the plot thickens? I know you could >.<

I figured if this story takes place a year after the end of Inuyasha, by now Sessy is more or less daddy to Rin. Their relationship should be close and he should be able to understand Rin by now no problemo. I wanted to emphasise that in the story - Rin is the reason I wrote the turd anyway. I tormented sledge for a couple days or so running up behind him and goin "Misha mama!" to depress his ass. I didnt have the rescue written yet and got bizy for about 2 days... so poor Misha stayed in peril until I had time to get to her

As far as the characters go, I couldnt have just any flooze off the street hook up with Sessy's tet so Misha had to be the "Keh! It figures if you were gonna have some woman around for the kid she’d just have to be some gorgeous, exotic, untouchable, virgin that worships the ground you walk on!"

first of all she has to be pretty- no busted bitches allowed , she has to be different then any mortal Sessy has seen before thus she is not Asian, and her worship keeps her pure and untouchable- we always want what we can't have. She also loves Rin with all her heart and would do anything for her, even die. She also must be a teacher to the kid, Sessy doesnt need a babysitter, he's already got Jaken filling that duty call it pre-requsites for bein Sessy's traveling companion or woman or whatever. The hardest part about writing Misha is that she's so damn demure. Most chicks in my stories will kill you just as soon as look at you. but I couldn't add some viscious bitch to Sessy's tet, that shit wouldnt fly with him and I was tryin to keep it real G.

The bad guys are pretty garden variety. I had to have at least one completely nutzed up bastard- Odoku, a pissy bastard- Tomei, and Azuki is the oppisite of Sessy so... I read and watch a lotta twisted up scarry violent shit so bad guys and monsters kinda come natural to me Their actions had to be vile enough for Sessy to want to just straight up kill the bitches. They also couldn't be the guy that dies in just 1 episode, there has to be a challange to the hunt and kill on both sides. So I made em pretty tuff.

Kingisms... like I can keep em out of my writing right? Keh! I've had Dark Tower on the brain a lot recently too so they slipped in. It was easier for me to contain the story by identifing parts with the familiar. Drawing- the drawing of the 3, Misha is the 3rd to come into the tet. char-u tree death for you life for my crop. Misha's death meant a new life for Rin, all of them really. Dan-dhin- Sessy establishes himself as the dhin figure in a couple of ways; setting boundraies, the gift of the new kimono, and then saving her from bad guys. Ves'Ka Gan is when shit starts to go wrong. Ka like the wind starts to blow and the characters find themselves dealing w/ shit outta their control. Thunderclap-bad shit goes down. Empathica-worse shit goes down. Derry Interlude- like in It this part of the story doesnt really move the plot forward persay, but it feeds us info/ideas/feelings of the characters. Fedic: Two Views- we see the results of ka on Sessy and Misha.

through the story we are seeing Sesshomaru (and Misha too a little) progress and change. I wrote the story for Rin cuz I wanted her to have parents damnit but the story is really about Sesshomaru. his growth and development as a sentiant being and his fathers son. Son's are always trying to superceedethe father, why the hell should Sessy be any different? hell- he woulda cut his old man up for his swords. he wanted to fight him when he was most powerfull and defete him so...

i am writing this thing with visions of Roland dancing in my head, its not as if I can just say "poof Sessy is a nice guy now" it took Roland 7 books and a short story to stop being such a prick only to have to do it all over again.

He moved his hand down her body and rested his palm low on her belly. There was life there, but barely. If Misha were to lose the baby now, she would never even know she had been pregnant at all. It would only take a small amount of demon energy to shatter the embryo and Misha would be unharmed.

Writing Odoku was fun. ya never know what crazy ppl are gonna do in a fight Inuyasha and Odoku are more "salt of the earth" characters so their fight was a bit more gruesome. Sessy and Azuki are more noble characters thus the future of their kind and clan was the focus of their duel.

Yes, I love that Odoku tortured Inuyasha in such a way and that he wanted to kill the mortals after the battle was done. The guy was fuckin crazy! Let me guess... Gasher? Trashcan Man? A little of both?

Sesshomaru and Inyasha at the end was great too. They were finally "being brothers". I like how the busting down of Sesshomaru's emotional walls was very natural. Its still Sesshomaru, he just has new wants and needs, but his approach is direct as always and in character. Sesshomaru wants what he wants and gets what he wants. Misha was perfect for him.

eeeek! I see what you mean about Roland on your mind. The whole Suz+Mordred ala Misha and Sesshomaru considering killing the baby. Very Roland (too bad old Ro didn't do it in the Calla) I see how Sesshomaru is still hesitant right up until the bitter end. Seeing your species become extinct is a big thing, no wonder he considered killing the kid. I'm so glad he didn't do it though. He couldn't do that to Misha because she was too in his heart! Sesshomaru was still completely in character even though he was a totaly changed man

Seriously you guys, ya dun know what it means to me to have entertained you with my story.

I haven't actually finished a piece since Leigh's World in 1993. I wrote the end and then it happened to my friend Shannon-and it wasn't supposed to be her- and I could do no mo. Spooky Mulder story, wont bore ya with the details, lets just say not finishing things became the norm for me (Sorry all you Battle for Freedom guys, I'll hook ya up later ).

I just wanted to write a good story that my dudes (most of the ppl that read my crap are guys) would be able to see it happening in their head as they read it. Visualization and being drawn into the story are big things for me. There is no point in writing something that is so crappy ppl go.. wtf is this???

I cant wait to get it to Pat he is my #1 (ANNIE!) fan. has been for about a decade I hooked him with Scream loooong ago.

Just happy I could finish something for a change. Happier still that other ppl could understand my dribble!
