Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 The Bangles were pretty cool back in the day, and even Bananarama are my probable favorites. Are we talking of 'all-girl' bands or can we also include bands with explosive women ? That'd include Jefferson Airplane, Blondie, Alanis Morissette (spelling?), The Corrs, and more. I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do.
Strider Hiryu 2,704 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 Flyleaf, great band and one of the many I've recently found. Used to be a fan of TLC until I fell out of liking that kind of music.
falling-angel-111 736 Report post Posted May 4, 2006 The Pussycat Dolls, Flyleaf, Rhianna, Natasha Bedingfield. That's all I can think of right now, they're not all bands but great woman singers! lividsquirrel 12 Report post Posted August 28, 2006 Yeah they're pretty cool too. But I prefer the Pointer Sisters becuase I'm more familiar with their music since I was a kid. I wodner if this dude likes girls bands too... Yeah I know it's a male puppet that barely knows how to play the drums. But he's a pretty cool puppet because he's intersted in music. I think that's why he's already got a small female audience obssessing over him. Maybe he can back up some female puppet singers or soemthing.
Eli 474 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Kittie, Jack Off Jill, (You were way too young to have known anything about them, Wolf. ), and Phallus über Alles. I'm assuming this isn't just all-girl bands, so front-women bands would also Lacuna Coil, Otep, Flyleaf, Drain STH, Dresden Dolls, etc. =)
Wolflord 1,488 Report post Posted August 29, 2006 Haha I may not "know" anything about them, but the music is good aomsehri \|/ This post is definitely my greatest contribution to the site.
Akira13 1,036 Report post Posted September 23, 2006 I've been listening to a good all-girl band called Pony Up recently. Here's a video they made for one of their songs: (done in a cool paper cutout animation style)
Barter Frog 662 Report post Posted October 18, 2006 Not to many girl bands out there. There used to be a lot of good acts though. TLC, Dream and nobody gives credit to the vocals of All Saints. Lead singers Veruca Salt and No Doubt, Sneaker Pimps Snoochie Boochies!!
Ghost_Reamer 171 Report post Posted October 19, 2006 I would definitely have to say The Eurythmics, or Nancy Sinatra... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Why do I feel that I carry a sword through a battlefield?"
