Vincent 2,861 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 me thinks they should make some kind of WiiGlove....you know, like the ones baseball players wear so they don't lose grip of the bat? Eppy 3,446 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 i posted this link in one of the Wii topics Quote "That fairy needs to stop shouting in my ear, or I'm going to throw her friend I have trapped in the bottle into a lava pit or something. HEY, LISTEN! No, YOU listen. If something's important, just say so without yelling at me. Or fly over to it and change color like you usually do. Just because I'm busy mowing the lawn and hoping I'll find some spare change, doesn't mean I can't hear you." - Link

Strider Hiryu 2,704 Report post Posted December 18, 2006 You'd think they would have tested those straps. Anyone could of seen this coming (and I find it extremely hilarious)
Vincent 2,861 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 it's all a marketing ploy... Quote But can you save me? From the ranks of the freaks who could never love anyone...
Eppy 3,446 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 not a marketing ploy at all...im sure they tested the straps plenty...jsut there are a lot of people that take it too far and hurt themselves and the things around them ...nintendo already made revisions to teh thickness of the strap and are mailing them out for free now Quote "That fairy needs to stop shouting in my ear, or I'm going to throw her friend I have trapped in the bottle into a lava pit or something. Dubird 6,815 Report post Posted December 19, 2006 They had to have tested them to get approved to sell them in the US. I just think they didn't test them with the right people. They were counting on the couch-potato gamers that don't move unless they absolutly have to, not the hyper gamers that have wanted to get in on the action for years. *LOL* Have you noticed how most of the injuries are related to the sports games? Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted December 26, 2006 All those poor televisions. X'D Nintendo has an official form for replacement straps: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/strapreplace.jsp I saw a pic on gamespot comparing the straps and the new strap is probably twice the thickness that the original was.
