The special will be set between the third and fourth seasons and is expected to be released on DVD shortly thereafter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Sci-Fi Channel has also committed to episodes for the second half of Battlestar's fourth season. Wow. I never expected an OVA. I wonder if they actually meant movie instead of OAV tho... Its hard for me to imagine what style of animation they could use to simulate the BSG style and camera work.
