Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures announced that Christina Ricci has signed onto the Speed Racer movie to play Trixie, the girlfriend of the title character. Ricci, joins Emile Hirsch (Speed), John Goodman (Pops), Susan Sarandon (Mom) in this live-action adaptation of a television series that itself was an adaptation of the Mach GoGoGo anime series.
