Click on "Rate It" and you'll get a pop-up so you can rate the game. If a game sucks balls give it a one. If a game is rated bad repeatedly, it'll be a sign to take that game out of the arcade and replace it with something new.

There, I got the rating link to load on the main game list page. We have too many games that auto-submit scores and bypass the 'rate a game' link. But its on the main page now, so feel free to rate the games.

Is there another Castlevania that isn't glitched when you get to the first boss? Even if you kill him, he just vanishes and you're trapped on that screen, no way to leave or to die.

That's what happens every time. You can kill him with the holy grail-type weapon, but it doesn't change anything except that he disappears.

Hmm. And a lot of times scores won't be submitted--an error message will pop up, especially after playing a game for long enough, that the score wasn't submitted and won't be counted. I just got 36,000 something on Tetris and got the error message, so my score still says 14,000 whatever. Sort of frustrating if you've put a lot of effort into getting a high score on a game. =\

I noticed that castlevania glitch too. All I had was daggers that wouldn't reach him. ; I dunno if theres a working version or not, I'll have to check around this weekend. And I got some of those error messages for scores too. I owned that kill kenny game but after I beat it the score didn't submit.. and I got error messages on a couple of different games. I dunno if its the fault of the game or the arcade, or maybe because I had another forum tab open and it messed up my session/cookie. I have a feeling it was probably the games. I don't really thoroughly test them before I add them and some just screw up. If the scoring messes up repeatedly, take that into consideration when you rate a game. I'll take off low rated games in a couple weeks.

btw, talking about high scores, I should mention I installed the following mod when I initially setup the arcade..

we'll know if it works, because it should activate on the fourth of every month.. but I'm wondering if it'd just be easier to use the built in 'prune high scores' feature and set it to run 2-4 times a year instead.

The SQL that shows up from time to time occurs, because your login session for the forum has expired. You have two options.

1. Login through the forum with the "Remember Me?" option checked.

2. When you get the error, open up another tab to the forums and login. Go back to the tab with the error and click the refresh button. Click the yes button to resubmit the postdata and everything should be fine.

I did both methods successfully.

Booo, I was wondering why my Space Invaders score was lowered.

And GG you need to set the controls for Street Fighter otherwise you won't be able to fight (I tried every combination of keys and none worked when I first tried playing)

The default controls for street fighter are the arrow keys for moving, and the num-pad keys for punches and kicks.. buttons 1-4 I think.. but yes, change the settings because its set for "Hard" by default, it kicks my ass every time. btw, how the hell do you get a score on that game? do you have to beat it? ;;
