Dubird 6,815 Report post Posted October 18, 2007 i can't see it....i don't like Shatner and i'm not a fan of Kirk, but i can't see anyone else playing him....and i definatly can't see anyone else replacing the original actors in their roles, either... not to mention they'll TOTALLY fuck up the storyline that's been established in countless books and the original series.......... That was his job and he was darn good at it. But he's a bit of an asshole, espically to women. X'D Kirk had to have doctor mccoy on so many away missions with him just to test new alien species to make sure they were ok to have sex with. X'D btw, speaking of the good doctor, looks whos playing him: Karl Urban. I remember him on Xena as Ceasar, the movie Doom as that one solder and on chronicles of riddick. He really doesn't look the part of the doctor to me in the slightest. Picard was the shit! X'D he was authority you listened to. and while Kirk was awesome and ballsy, you know he only got his captain position by sleeping with an admiral.
