Sledgstone 8,672 Report post Posted July 4, 2008 So, the actress that plays Weir turned down a script to get back on the show, but she might still do a cameo at some point, but it doesn't look like she will. And Amanda Tapping, who plays Samantha Carter is leaving to be in another SciFi show called "Sanctuary." I can't blame her for leaving seeing as they did absolutely nothing with her character.. but guess who is replacing her position as the one in charge of all of Atlantis? Woolsey, the IOA committee guy. WTF?
