Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted July 28, 2008 Anyone else seen this? I'm currently half way through, and it's 13 episodes long. Shorthand plot It's about a political war in a small country, where the United Nations Force tries to calm things down. It's a story told from the lens' eye of two photographers who're engaged in two different situations within that political conflict. A photograph becomes a sign of hope and peace for the nation, and lands up on the flag of the country, but this is stolen by radicals, and the UNF's mission is to retrieve it. It's slow, sensible, got a little realistic mecha (not in the Gundam flying around easy laser shooting spree kinda one), and seems decent so far. My only gripe is the reasons for what they go through such lengths for. Quote I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. Myk JL 1,731 Report post Posted July 28, 2008 Sounds like a non parody version of the RvB episode where both teams lost their flags... Quote Those who fight deplorables should see to it that they themselves do not become deplorables.
Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted July 28, 2008 The camera angles are really great, love the directing. I kinda instantly thought of Cabbit, cos she plans to take Photography seriously. All the scenes are off a professional photographers video camera, and natural. Not in the Blair Witch Project or headache giving shakey Cloverfield way X'D. Pchan 5,162 Report post Posted July 30, 2008 Finally finished it, it's good. There's not a lot of action, but the story makes up for it.
