And they all have the name Monkey, so who the hell is Portgas D. Ace's dad? Seeing as he is Luffy's brother shouldn't he have the Monkey name too? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ladywriter 7,783 Report post Posted November 17, 2008 I'm guessing its that Ace carries his moms name (my preferred theory ) or its a made up name by him or even someone else(WB); a break away from the Monkey family name when he set out and ended up w/ Witebeard.
