Your opinion on Gallery programs?

I have experience with 4images and I want to switch off it. I'm hoping vbulletin's new cms will have a built in gallery for http://www.ancientclan.com, but I need a different gallery for a couple other sites and so far I've been leaning to either gallery or coppermine, but I can't quite decide what I want to go with. I have been leaning more towards gallery tho because it seems to be more customizable.

Will someone tell me which they think looks better?

I vote Gallery. I like being able to have the 'previous' and 'next' links right there on the image. Also I think it looks nicer.

It's not super related but for small personal projects I've used Lightbox code. It looks pretty cool and you can have have small galleries with it, but it doesn't really offer any sort of organization or commenting system.

I agree with Cammy. Gallery looks crisp, clean, and user friendly.

Yep, thanks everyone. We decided to go with gallery too. It looks like a new major version is out in beta already too. So it'll probably have even more features in the very near future.

I finally got around to testing out the menalto gallery 3 beta version. And so far I'm liking it. Theres a couple features I would like added, but they'll probably become available as a module later on.

If anyone wants to check out this gallery for me and tell me if they see any problems I'd appreciate it. Its just a single gallery page for now and I haven't customized the theme yet. BTW, the slideshow feature works quite nicely.
