nope you can get a stick if ya want.

Automatics are more popular, because americans are lazy and used to autos. Just like me, I know I can get more control and better gas mileage with a manuel, but I really like the convenience of an automatic.

I prefer stick-shift. Automatics are guzzlers and make the driver lazy! Someone almost ran me over today because he was looking the other way and I was crossing >_< ... either way, stick-shift's are so much fun cos you're in control of the car a lot more, and it's sorta playful. Kite, you have to pay extra/ a premium to get a stick-shift here by the way. Back home, you had to pay a premium to get an automatic cos most cars in India are manual!

Actually, stick shifts are the cheaper cars in the US. Whenever you see a car add and it says "starting at..." thats usually the price for the standard.
