Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome (a prequel to the critically acclaimed hit series, Battlestar Galactica) takes place in the midst of the First Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a young, talented fighter pilot, William Adama (Luke Pasqualino), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Full of ambition and in pursuit of the intense action that the Cylon war promises, Adama quickly finds himself at odds with his co-pilot, the battle-weary officer Coker (Ben Cotton). With only 47 days left in his tour of duty, Coker desires an end to battle just as much as Adama craves the start of it. Though they clash at first, the two men forge an unlikely bond when a routine escort mission with an enigmatic passenger (Lili Bordan) turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet. Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome is available as ten, 7-12 minute episode chapters viewable exclusively on Machinima's premium channel, Machinima Prime (YouTube.com/MachinimaPrime). It will then air as a two-hour movie on Syfy on February 10 at 9/8c, and later see an unrated release on Blu-ray, DVD, digital download, PPV and VOD. It was pretty good. Too bad the fuckers wont give us a first cylon war. Young Bill Adama kicks ass

After previously denying that he would command the directors chair for the next Star Wars film, LOST creator and Star Trek director J.J. Abrams has been officially confirmed for the role. After swirling rumors and many turned down offers, Abrams has emerged to take on the challenge that has scared away the likes of big names such as Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, and Zack Snyder. In November Abrams was quoted as saying: "Look, Star Wars is one of my favorite movies of all time. I frankly feel that – I almost feel that, in a weird way, the opportunity for whomever it is to direct that movie, it comes with the burden of being that kind of iconic movie and series. I was never a big Star Trek fan growing up, so for me, working on Star Trek didn’t have any of that, you know, almost fatal sacrilege, and so, I am looking forward more then anyone to the next iterations of Star Wars, but I believe I will be going as a paying moviegoer!" However it seems that Lucasfilm's co-chair Kathleen Kennedy had been courting Abrams aggressively for quite a while. With the success of his Star Trek reboot and upcoming sequel, Abrams is set to become the new king of Sci Fi if he can triumph within the two most iconic series of the genre. Star Wars Episode VII is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. Michael Arndt is writing the script. For more check out these links: Comingsoon.net: BREAKING: J.J. Abrams to Direct Star Wars: Episode VII! io9: Can J.J. Abrams do for Star Wars what he did for Star Trek? Deadline: J.J. Abrams to Direct New 'Star Wars' Film for Disney

PBO and Hillary on 60 Minutes

I love this is a big fuckin deal Biden, but I also understand his senior status and a want to be with family. Hill doesn't have grandkiddies yet so hopefully she's still willing to serve when the time comes. It should have been her, PBO can organize, but Hillary can lead. I'm sure other qualified dems will step up whether she does or not, but my concern is that this will be our last chance at electing her president. If she were to throw her hat in the ring and be savaged by her own party AGAIN the dems would lose boatloads of women voters to the independents/green. There is an all out war on women's liberties and the smartest way to combat it is to elect educated female officials. Women know this and they vote....

PBO and Hillary on 60 Minutes

I was for sure that Hillary would be the next POTUS, but now I am not so sure. I have a feeling that Obama is going to screw the Clinton's after all the support they have provided him. The continuous hinting at Joe Biden's 2016 possibilities has me wondering if Obama will push an endorsement for him on his way out. Hillary could face another rough primary race where this time they will attack her health, Benghazi, and even her age... Joe wouldn't have any room to talk, but If Cuomo runs it would be an opening. With how rapidly she has aged just as a cabinet member, I wonder how much she had actually had to step in and perform duties outside of her title. It will be a shame if someone as highly experianced as she is and how much time she's devoted as a public servant gets the shaft at the end due to some political agenda. Obama is a clown. He knows how to campaign, that's the extent of his ability. The "gene pool" of potential candidates gets more bland and uninspiring with every race on each side. You need $$$ to run for big offices, and that is the major issue that has fallen on our political system. (I'm on my phone on lunch, spelling and grammar are out the window )
