I was completely pleased with the season finale. Floki was awesome. Thinking back on this season.. everything Siggy told Horik about the value of knowing your friend's weaknesses, her desire to regain her position as an Earl's wife, etc.. she played him from the beginning. She practically told him that she was gathering intel on him.. and then she says to Rollo that everything she did, she did for him. By ensuring that Ragnar would eventually become king, Rollo would be in a position to become Earl, thus securing her regained status. She was never on Horik's side. Or if she was playing both sides, she knew who was the correct choice. The things she did to get Horik's trust were extreme, but his biggest mistake was telling her to kill Ragnar's kids and his knife was all the physical proof Ragnar needed to justify killing him. The entire setup for the final confrontation was great. Horik's wife was preparing to join a slaughter only to get destroyed by Lagertha. But Ragnar's one guy told her to leave so she wouldn't have to deal with the daughter issue. Ragnar was probably never even drunk, just like his one guy never died. Horik was completely surprised and got what he deserved. Floki.. most of the episode I thought he was about to kill Bjorn, but he was completely watching over him. When he told Horik on the beach "I decided who I want to kill".. it was Horik himself and he never saw it coming. And in the end, Ragnar went ballistic on Horik's corpse. Brutal. I read an interview about the guy writing season 3 of Vikings:

I have to laugh when COD fanboys try to bash battlefield, and they do it for 2 reasons. The first is that they've never played it before, and the second is because they completely suck at it. Their 12 year old pride get the best of them because they cant go 40-3, and they don't find it fun. If you've never played a BF game before, you're gonna suck pretty hard the first time you jump in. (I'll never forget how bad I was in BF2) It takes time to develop skill, and the beautiful thing is that you create your own play style that suits you best to be successful. The game focuses on teamwork instead of running around gunning down everyone. You could have the least kills on the team and finish with the top score and most xp because you supported teammates and played the objective. Quickscoping yields a 20% success rate at best, you can't outgun someone with a DMR using an SMG from long range, and you have to account for bullet drop... a COD fanboy's nightmare. COD and BF really aren't even comparable to me, but Titanfall is in that same category. Even with less game modes and less weapons, its a crap ton more fun than COD has ever been since COD4. After looking at an IGN article I see there is cloaking as well... I would say thats ripping off Titanfall... but its actually just ripping off Halo. lol

Considering how good Ghosts looked in trailers and then how bad the actual game was (I have friends who bought and absolutely hate Ghosts MP, some have said the SP is alright) I'm reserving all judgement until we see actual in-game footage and gameplay videos. Even if it does interest me I'll most likely still not buy it, I'm done giving Activision money for the same game with different skins. I'm not a fan of this 3 studio thing, the market is already over saturated with FPS games and not to mention with COD games. Activision is literally shooting themselves in the foot with the COD every year motif they've been following. You don't give your fans time to invest in any game since the next one is just a year away. Doesn't give you enough time to enjoy the game you just bought. Plus quality is really starting to fall in COD games, I've watched live streams on Ghosts and I'm quite honestly far from impressed with the multiplayer. They all still follow the COD4 motif and do very little to distinguish the game from one of the best FPS games I've ever played (I'll always love COD4 but since MW2 I have lost all interest in playing COD, hell the first Black Ops was a disappointment for me). This is why Battlefield does so well, not only is the game more solid in terms of gameplay but DICE doesn't release one every year also. Fans appreciate this as it gives them time to play the game, invest in the MP, and actually enjoy it until said time when the next one comes out. Plus lets face it, the multiplayer in BF is so much more fun.
