    Ok.. I can honestly say I hate the "apps" altogether. I'm using a PC and not a tablet. MS should remove all the app crap off of Windows 8 / 8.1 for PC and add an all programs list back to the taskbar by default. Here are a couple examples of why apps are pointless on PC.. I wanted to use a calculator a few weeks ago.. where is the calculator? I have no idea because there is no start menu that shows all programs. So I go to the apps, there it is! A calculator.. and its an app version that fills my entire screen (1600x1200), wtf. On a tablet this would be fine, but this thing is massive on my monitor. I had to go on google to figure out how the f*ck to use a calculator on my own PC. Turns out I had to use "Search" to find it.. really MS? I have to search for every single basic program? Why not just give me a list of all programs *coughSTARTMENUcough*. Going to the tiles menu is pointless on PC, you can click on "all apps", but that lists just apps and a few programs but not all programs. Because if it listed all programs, both of the Windows calculators would be in there but they are not. There are sometimes duplicated programs like IE and Calculator that show up in the search, the app version and the desktop version. Please MS.. remove all the apps off my PC. For f*cks sake. Also, I couldn't remember the name of the Sniping Tool.. a basic window's program. I don't use the apps list because I'm used to only finding bullshit full screen apps in it, so I tried to "Search" my own PC for it and typed in "cropping tool".. no results. So yep.. I had to google search again to find out the name of the program so that I could in turn search my own PC.. of course I could have easily found it if there was a f*cking start menu. Anyway, thats my rant.. Here is my solution. I found this link that gives me my all programs list back.. but unlike the nice Windows 7 start menu version, this list acts more like the start menu of Windows XP. http://blog.laptopmag.com/how-to-add-an-all-programs-button-to-the-windows-8-taskbar Microsoft seriously needs make Windows 8.1 even more PC friendly. All of the apps are pointless on PC. If they changed the tiles / apps list to show all desktop applications only, then at least the start button would actually be usable except for just a right click menu. If they could remove these apps or at least give me the option to remove all apps, and give me a Windows 7 style all programs list, then yes, Windows 8.1 would be a superior OS.. but until then, these apps wastes space and an entire menu system for me..

    Guild Wars 2 is fun so far. I had to delete my test character so I could change worlds to be on the same server as my brother / sister in law. I'm on the Jade Quarry server now. It would have costed 1800 gems to transfer an account with existing characters. My brother told me that was insane.

      Good news, I was able to get my firey dragon sword.. turns out it is a skin that I can apply to other 1 handed swords. Oh well, at least my swords will always look bad ass until I get something more elaborate.

    I found a Vista Cruiser! I finished up Act III tonight. Very fun game so far. Check out these three clips I took. lmao @ Frenemy Grenade. LMAO! Grenade to the face!

    Ok, this should be my final update on Steam In-Home Streaming. Long story short, it works great. Now that I figured out my router issues... I had to disable Wireless N and the 5ghtz band, which means my network is wireless G only and I'm maxing out at 54 mbps on my laptop. My PC is directly connected to the router and I'm streaming from it to my Laptop via wireless. I turned hardware encoding and decoding on both machines, set the laptop to balanced and set the PC host options to "Prioritize network". I can now stream any of my steam games directly to my laptop. I played Darksiders on my laptop via streaming and it played great. I was even using my xbox 360 controller with no problem. The game wasn't showing any noticeable lag to me, but I'm sure if I played directly on my PC I'd see the performance difference. I also tested Alan Wake and The Walking Dead. With both of those games, I noticed that anti-aliasing does not work that good for Steam's in-home streaming and would often cause graphical issues. It looks like I can run both games at max graphics settings, but I have to turn anti-aliasing completely down or off. Also Alan Wake seemed to give me some slow network settings.. But that might have been my wireless signal dropping because other people were on their laptops / phones on the same wifi. But turning the game's resolution down to 720p fixed it. If I got a better router with a more powerful wireless signal and transfer rate, then Steam In-Home Streaming would work even better at higher resolutions. Either that, or have the host and client machines hooked up directly to a router. Overall I'm quite pleased with Steam In-Home Streaming.

    I agree with that statement. Honestly, I'll be playing the Destiny Beta. Every time we get a BF4 DLC 2 weeks early with premium, its almost always runs like garbage anyway. We'd mostly be beta testing that DLC anyway. I'd rather beta test Destiny. I'm definitely looking forward to playing the new Dragons Teeth maps, but I'll wait a week or so later after DICE releases another patch. I say this, because Naval Strike was unplayable except for domination in that first couple weeks of premium early access.

    Well that looks much better now... The new animation quality definitely makes them look a tad bit older now. I'm glad all the baby fat is gone from their cheeks. I was hoping the new opening would have Melvin in it throwing shrimp tho.

    The new transformation looks better, but also odd.. its all 3Dish looking.. and I guess they wanted to take the guess work out of what is under their skirts by showing off her butt too. Damn.. I missed watching the bootleg opening before it was taken down. Oh well. I'll catch it at some point.

You should be able to do add them to your account via the PSN store link I just posted, or through the game.. It was so annoying to try to find the BF4 DLC in the PSN store when we got them early via premium, but it looks like DLC is easily found now by going to the game in your PS4 menu, hitting down to show the game's menu, then clicking on the "add-ons" link which is a couple links below "start game". Apparently, thats how everyone accessed the Hardline beta for BF4 users during E3 before they blocked it out and forced everyone to sign up for a code instead. I looked all over the PSN store and couldn't find the damn download link but when I went to BF4 in my PS4's menu after putting the disk in, it was right there... but I was too late to get into the beta at that point. x_x

    I agree about wanting to see more than the grinding missions. I hope they let us see some plot and story line to experience more of the RPG elements of the game.

    Palace Pack 1 was the mission DLC and Palace Pack 2 was just the ATM Hack boost, which for some reason was a separate download. I read some other article that made it sound like these DLC missions would be free, but it looks like they'll be available for purchase separately or with the season pass. It seems like the only Watch Dogs DLC that is worth any money is the one single player campaign DLC that lets you play as T-Bone Grady.. but I think that is only available for season pass purchases.

    Nice. I'm placing my pre-order for Destiny tonight via the PSN store. I think I'm going to go digital for the majority of my PS4 games from here on out.

    I'm almost done with Act II of Watch Dogs. I love my grenade launcher now. If fixers are chasing me, I like to lure them to a back alley, jump out and grenade all their vehicles and then use a jamm comm to make sure nobody notifies the police. :D

      BTW did you pick up the LMG (U100) off the enforcer? It's by far the best weapon in the game when under heavy duress.

    The fairy tail Manga announced there will be a fairy tail spin off Manga. I have no idea who it'll be focused on our if it'll be a new guild based in the same world but on a sident continent.

    I held off on watching this movie but I saw it the other day. This movie was horrible. All the Joes from the first movie are gone. The Joes now consist of 4 or 5 ppl even though there was numerous Joe bases. Even though cobra commander saved Destro, he played no role in the sequel. And there weer numerous slow motion ninja fights. If not for the rock and Bruce Willis being in this, this movie would have been better off on the syfy channel than in the theaters.

    Season 2 has started and after 2 episodes I'm enjoying it. Its good to see some actual technology in Defiance too. The higher up E-Reps are completely corrupt, but I think that will lead to better plot lines than what we would have gotten with "Mayor Datak." Irisa walks off to kill random people now.. well then.. I wonder how well thats going to work out for her in Defiance seeing as Nolan will end up having to solve those murders.

    I bought Guild Wars 2! Its downloading now, I'll jump on there tomorrow to see how well it plays on my PC.. I forgot about my hall of monuments bonuses from GW1. I'll have a fiery sword, diamond shield and tabby cat mini right away. :D

      Well events go on for one to two months. This isn't really an event though its the next chapter of the living world. So I don't know if everyone is scaled up to do it or if its only for level 80 players that already beat the main story. Dungeons require 5 people to defeat... but I've done with with 3 and even 2 people before... its a pain in the ass without 5. If I'm on when you guys get to that point and need and extra man for a dungeon, I'll be glad to assist.

      Turns out its only for level 80 players, but as long as I log in during the event I can get it unlocked to accomplish later.. I think thats how it works.

    I bet the easiest way to get that Flawless Striker trophy will be to have maxed out players going back to that first strike in the game. Now I'm wondering how powerful a Legendary weapon is compared to an Exotic one.

    F*ck yes! I was going to buy this game but I was holding off just for this possibility. I've been making sure to claim all the PS+ Vita games thru Sony's website and I'm glad, because I might end up getting a Playstation TV device later this year and I'll have a good library of Vita games to try out on it.
