Good point. I hope this discovery helps to validate more theories.

I use Zone Alarm and Avast Antivirus. Both are free and seem to be very good. I wouldn't worry about XP being really vulnerable until probably later this year when potential exploits are more common and widespread across malicious websites.

I bet the PC elitists are even more annoyed. They can run BF4 in 2280p or some craziness but they can't have a gun / shield combo because it can't work on a 2006 console. I really hope Bungie doesn't dumb down Destiny's features because of this same issue.

An EA DICE animator revealed that the new Battlefield 4 expansion pack "Dragon's Teeth" will include a two handed ballistic shield. DICE was going to make the shield one handed and work in conjunction with a hand pistol, but limitations on the older gen systems made it impossible across all platforms. Because this game is on the PS3 and Xbox 360, all versions of BF4 will be limited to weapon and gadget functionality based on what those systems can handle. Its a shame they released this game on the older consoles. Now we'll have a Call of Duty style shield instead of something unique to Battlefield. Although, this shield when used by a couple squad mates at the same time could really change Operation Metro and Operation Locker matches, assuming an M320 LVG grenade could bounce off the shield. Windows XP was probably the first really stable MS operating system IMO. Windows ME and Vista were garbage and were far worse than Windows 8. I still think Windows 7 is the best OS. Steam Machines don't seem practical yet. If I ever run Steam OS on a computer, I'll buy a premade moderately powerful gaming system with a windows OS on it.. then install Steam OS on it with a dual boot setup. From my own experience of using Ubuntu Linux years ago, I have no doubt that the Steam OS would auto-recognize and configure itself for all the hardware on the system. I remember how shocked I was when I installed linux for the first time. The OS auto configured everything, video drivers, etc. all on its own. Windows still hasn't become that easy. Of course trying to learn linux commands to then change simple things was such a pain in the ass I never used it again. lmao.

Its the end of an era. Windows XP support will end soon. Anyone still running XP machines? I have 2 and Lady has an old laptop with XP also. I have a decent firewall for it and I never use the Internet Explorer on it either. I figure I'll still use it for my old files and storage still but I might disconnect it off the internet sooner rather than later. It kind of sucks that XP won't get software updates anymore but at the same time this will finally give web developers an excuse to finally stop making their sites and products work on IE 8. I hate that browser with a passion. I have seen so many bugs with forum, cms, blogs, etc. software all because of compatibility fixes for IE8.

Well.. I was wrong. That was a full blown "Of Mice and Men" moment. Carol also admitted to killing those two. I think the reason she admitted to it was because she was ready to die and was expecting Tyrese to kill her. It still seems to me that there might have been more to that tho. She said Lizzy would have let them turn. Perhaps Carol walked in on Lizzy waiting by their bed side with some mice anticipating their change and Carol took care of them before it got to that. Carol did contemplate going into the woods to live with her.. Maybe if Lizzy didn't kill her sister she would have. Lizzy was demented and would have been eaten by walker sooner or later anyway.

Update! Ajouz is the man. He will have a new version of these light and dark skins available for the new IPB 4 we will be upgrading to and at no extra cost to me. He is the best skin developer I've ever known. The actual look of the site will stay about the same in terms of color scheme. The layout itself will mostly be the same as well except for any changes I make to the site based on the new features as I've previously stated in this topic.

The gallery has been a bit underused over the past year and it might have to do with the fact that I never increased the gallery upload amounts since my initial testing of it. If thats not the case, then oh well, I increased the limits! AC Elite members can now upload 100 MB of images. The max file size of uploaded images are now 4 MB per image. If you have pictures over 4 MB, the server will deny the upload because I don't have any software in place to auto shrink down an image. Regular members can now upload 20 MB of images with a max file size of 2 MB per image. Feel free to upload images to whatever category you have access to as long as the image actually belongs in it. For example, you have a good walking dead image, post it in that gallery if you want to. You can also make your own albums and upload whatever images you want to share. You can have public, friends only or private galleries. But keep in mind, only upload appropriate images. No vulgar, offensive, etc. images. Also, private albums aren't necessarily private as administrators can access them. The gallery albums are very useful if you want to upload your own smilies or other images. Once you upload an image to your own galleries, you can click the "My Media" link anywhere on the site where you can make a comment and click to add any image you have previously uploaded to your posts.

The last lucid dream I had was that I woke up and made coffee.. the coffee tasted bad and then I realized I always set the coffee to auto brew in the morning. I then became aware that I was dreaming and tried the coffee again.. It turned into the best coffee ever. After one sip I woke up. In hind sight I should have gone outside and tried picking up my car.

Over the past month I've been listening to a large collection of top hits from the 90s. Its 250+ songs that I've listened through a couple times now. I thought I liked the 90s, but honestly over half these songs were crap to me. Mostly because there were so many love songs and rap songs in the mix. Some love songs were ok, but after listening to so many they become annoying to me. This mix must not have been that good because it was lacking alot of rock and hit country songs from the time. I've listened to some rap in the past, but I can honestly say that I can't stand the genre at all now. After listening to the hits from the 90s, almost all rap seems to follow the same patterns. First off, there is no actual singing unless its the chorus and almost every chorus is a woman singing about something that doesn't appear to have anything to do with the actual context of what the rapper is talking about. I know rapping is people stringing words together, but I realize that I want to hear actual singing in my music and not some guy talking fast. Anyway, in the majority of rap songs I've listened to.. the rapper is always talking about 1) How hes better than everyone else in terms of: has more money / hoes / material possessions / drugs / best raps / etc. that are all better than everyone elses and everybody is jealous and wants to emulate them. 2) Is talking about abusing and taking in excess: sex with random women with no love involved / smoking the hell out of some weed / drinking alcohol. 3) Violence such as: Shooting people that talk shit about them / glorifying themselves in terms of killing people in their past / potentially killing more people. So.. yeah.. Rap music seems pretty shitty to me. Of course, much of this can be considered gansta rap and that other rap could be more wholesome or have better context. Will Smith had some decent rap songs, I also enjoyed Tupac's "Dear Mama". Mostly because it was about the guy's past and the song was actually about something instead of just talking about being an amazing person that throws money at the cameras while wearing gold chains in music videos. There was also a song from Bone Thugs N Harmony called Crossroads that was decent. I couldn't make out half the words, but at least these people were singing and it was about their dead friend. P Diddy / Puff Daddy / Sean Combs seems to be one of the worst rappers I've ever heard. He is literally talking in almost every song while sampling everyone else's songs. I listened to "I'll Be Missing You" and I can't stand the song because its a sample / remix of The Police's "Every Breath You Take". P Diddy should have never touched that song. I've also listened to some Eminem but I can't seem to enjoy it that much. I think his best song was "Stan". I watched and rewatched the videos posted in this topic.. So far I really enjoyed the Hair Metal videos the best. Rob Zombie seems a bit too harsh for me but not as bad as Nirvana. I've owned an Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilot cds in my past and those are still good to me. Bloodhound Gang has some funny songs and I own one of their cds, but they don't interest me that much now.. Pantera has a couple good songs like Dragonforce, but some of their other songs are too harsh or I can't make out what they're saying. I think I'll try a few more of their songs tho. I liked that "Aint no rest for the wicked" song. I like the Vikings theme probably because I associate it with the show. System of a Down seemed a bit to broken up with political moments in the videos, but some of the lyrics and beats were good. That Remind me video reminded me of Habbo and Portal because of how the characters and buildings are presented.. other than that I didn't like any of those songs Pchan. I think the main reason is because most of them had a repeating beat that gets stuck in my head. Once a beat becomes the most noticeable aspect of a song instead of lyrics or tempo changes, it starts to drive me nuts. Thanks again everyone for helping me narrow down some of the songs that I now enjoy. Next, I'll try listening to some top hits of the 2000s+ and trying some more rock and hair bands. Maybe some Metallica and some older Godsmack. I remember I liked Godsmack's first CD, maybe they had a few more that were good that I missed.

I thought Dust was screwing with the guy at first. I laughing pretty good until started dieing. I forgot about the cavern at the bottom of Aurora, I ran all the way to the edge of the town while eating chickens to maintain my health.. I went to the farm and got killed by a slime.

That kid's father dying in mudpot was so sad. I felt horrible. For a while I thought I might have been playing to slow.. maybe I could have saved him if I went a bit quicker. But it was a fixed point. ;_; And it was really fitting seeing how the game ended and Dust referenced that life thread.. Poor kid. At least I got him some snow in the end. btw, that Reedus guy and his box.. it almost killed me before I could rush to an enemy. Did you talk to him after the box instance? He was even more insane.. "The trees.. they're plotting against us! we need to cut them all down!" Or something like that. He was going on about something else too and Dust said: "No Reedus." and "Goodbye Reedus." sounding all annoyed.

It was kind of stupid of Ragnar to leave his village almost completely unguarded, especially considering he was planning on being gone with his group for up to a year. Lagertha must have been feeding Bjorn some growth hormones and steroids over those past 4 years. He got huge.
