I finally got the airburst upgrade unlocked for my UCAV and this is the results. Its a bit overpowered considering that I can get a kill with it every time I use it now. As you can see, that 90 second resupply definitely prevented me from dominating. I often jump around after getting kills with the UCAV because I want people to see where I am. I want them to counter me so I'll know how to counter it myself. Shortly after this video I was marked as a High Value Target and I was quickly killed. I have also had the UCAV (either the missile or the launcher) get destroyed by a MAV which caused it to explode in mid air, then I was sniped.

I have no idea how to get the middle king assignment completed considering the SUAV will no longer kill anyone since the patch. -
The Bomber Cruise Missile makes a good explosion but kills nothing unless its a direct hit. It is much weaker than the JDAM bombs. Sure you can direct its movement like a TOW missile, but its not that effective.

Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, and then Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid were all great series. Great plot, humor, action and mecha.. and then the second raid got much more serious in its violent moments.

Good to see you Akira13! I've been pretty good. I always seem busy with work, games and my little dog Pikachu. How have you been? Thanks for the positive comments on the site. We went through a very long dead period for a couple years of low activity and heavy spam bots. We relaunched the site after I switched us over to a new forum software. Things have been better here, but like Strider said, its just a handful of us old timers here now. New people are welcome, but most people seem to be lurkers. Oh, and most of the new features and whatnot can be found in topics in the News & Announcements forum. So many new features. And later this year, we'll be getting another big upgrade when the next major version of our forum software gets released.

That was probably me complaining about the slow motion. It annoyed me a bit, mostly because so many movies have those noticeable "3D" moments that annoy me. When I watch a movie on my regular non 3D HD tv, those 3D moments always stick out like a sore thumb and in Judge Dredd all the slow motion scenes were like that. The movie was good, but it felt like it was missing something to me. I give props to Karl Urban for not showing his full face at all in the movie.

Disney's Gargoyles was a great series. But it was years later that I found out about the last season.. "The Goliath Chronicles" sucked compare to the second season of the regular series.

Home ownership can definitely be a bastard of a job. At least you're getting equity from a mortgage. I've been renting a house for over a decade. Aside from occasional large issue that needs to be fixed by the landlord, I don't have any investment to show for it.. In fact, I've probably paid over half the value of this entire property in rent over the years. As long as you can pull through the extra work, that house will be worth it! *is jealous of your home owner status*

It was working fine for me 2 days ago when I claimed a bronze battlepack. Thats where I saw I needed 3 points for a gold. I'd have bought more over the past couple months, but I could only find the bf4 codes on the boxes of mini slim jims until now. I'd rather spend $3 for 3 regular sticks and get 3 codes instead of buying a box for $3 and getting only one. But yeah, try it again. I got my ps4 code, redeemed it in the psn store and then I got nothing.. I had the game on when...

... I claimed the code. So I rebooted and it gave me a notification that I had a battlepack to open after the game reloaded.

I read something about Steam OS not being dual boot friendly which also sucks. If one of these companies could make a steam machine that could run games on max settings for around $500 I'd be happy. Ultra max for $600-700 would be great too. I think Valve needs to make their own version of Wine for linux so their OS can run all their programs. Xbox One is most likely running a modified version of Windows 8 as it's OS.. If someone could make a Steam app for Xbox One, they could technically turn that console into a Steam Box via an app. It wouldn't even have to run Steam OS, just regular steam. I'd say the same could be done with PS4, but it's running Sony's OS and I'm thinking the Xbox One's OS would be more compatible with windows games on steam. Another option... Anyone remember "Bleem!"? A company basically took Playstation's OS and turned it into a boot loading disk. You could put it in a dreamcast or on a PC, turn the machine on and it would load the Playstation OS. Then you could put any Playstation game into the system and play it like it was a PS. Now if somebody can make a Steam OS boot loader, then imagine just simply putting a disk into a PS4, reboot it, it loads steam os, log in to steam and play all your Steam OS compatible games. We could have the best of both worlds. PS4 and Steam Box all in one piece of hardware.

Duo!? I'm glad to see you again! Crash is a good name. It reminds me of that movie Hackers. I haven't seen many anime with animal / fantasy.. except for Fruits Basket. Its an amazing series, but its so depressing. Every episode makes me want to cry. ;_; As for Mecha.. I recommend Gurren Lagann if you haven't seen it yet. Its the best anime I've ever seen.

I just read a good article about the steam machines that raises some good points. http://www.vg247.com/2014/01/08/steam-machines-overhyped-overpriced-and-over-complicated/ The machines are overpriced. There are so many manufacturers that no single company will mass produce these in the quantities necessary to lower the price point. And because they will be running Steam OS instead of Windows only about 250 games will actually be playable on these steam machines.. which is hardly anything compared to the what.. nearly 10,000 games on steam? I can't even find a total, all I know is that its well over 3000, which means a steam machine running Steam OS will only play less than 10% of all the games they offer. I just checked Half-Life.. 1 should play on a Steam OS because it has linux support. But Half-Life 2 doesn't seem to have linux support. So one of their flagship games won't even run on their OS.

Anyone else watch this show? I caught a couple episodes on netflix and decided to start from the beginning. I'm on episode 7 now and its a much better show than I thought it was going to be. Its not a drama or action / adventure series. Its more of a modern day fantasy series that is showing two ongoing plots.. the fantasy world and the real world. All the characters are from the fairy tale world and have been trapped in a modern day america small town with new memories of a fake life. It sounds a bit confusing, but it seems to work out pretty good. Instead of doing flashbacks like in Lost, we get flashbacks of the characters from their fantasy world incarnations.

Any Steam Machine around the $499 price was using i5s.. I'll pass on that. If I get a steam machine it'll have to have at least an i7 so I'll know it can run the higher end games. For the huge selection of games on Steam, an i5 will probably run 90% of the games, but all the top tier stuff and new games will need an i7. I can also already play 90% of my steam games on my laptop. I'd only want a steam machine if it can play all the games I own at mostly maxed out settings.

Kite was an interesting anime for me when I first watched it, mostly because of the amount of violence in it. Considering how young I was when I first watched it, it really made me realize how drastically different anime can be compared to US cartoons. Aside from that, I wasn't a big fan of the anime. I watched it maybe twice? This movie seems like it will fail to me. Like Eppy said, its a mostly action movie.. but the trailer showed more talk than action.. ehh. Maybe if they had whatsherface that plays Hit Girl in it, then I'd probably watch it. I'm surprised Kite is being made into a movie.. if hollywood wants to make old animes into movies, I hope they make Vampire Hunter D next. Dragonball Evolution was a horrible movie. I watched it just so I could see how bad it was made.. oh man.. it ranks up there with Super Mario Brothers in terms of how off mark all the characters and plot was compared to the source material.

Looks like the PS4 share doesn't want to upload a video over 8 minutes correctly.. I can't get this bomber video to upload.. I guess I'll hold onto that clip until I can upload it directly to youtube.

It's probably a Facebook thing. My longest is 5 or 6 minutes, so it must be that 7 or 8 min mark that's the magic number.

Thats a good point. I have a bomber video thats just over 5 mins and it uploaded fine. I tried uploading the 8 minute video twice. Even though it uploads completely, it won't post to facebook and the video shows in my PS4 whats new feed, but the video fails to load.
