I got the second upgrade for Fidget on Dust.. I think its most efficient when combined with her first power. As long as I spam them all together its a cluster of destruction.

Looks like I was getting quite a few dropped frames, about 9%.. Probably during all those crazy fight sequences flying around like crazy. I'll have to look through my settings again to see if theres something else I can optimize.

I'm streaming Dust again for a while tonight.

That sounds good. Hopefully it works out. I'm tempted to try out League of Legends to see what a MOBA game is like, but I read their community is full of assholes.

I liked Gulf of Oman. Wake Island was fun but I'm glad its not in there because of repetition. I played that map to death on BF3. I mostly liked it because of how large it was and how many vehicles there were in it.. but with 64 player conquest and all maps at full size, it doesn't bother me at all.

Holy crap that nuke could have been far more devastating. I've been watching some of his older videos. Hes lost some weight over the years. btw, do you know if the vsauce2 and vsauce3 channels have anything to do with his original vsauce? Or are they just ripping off his username? This video surprised me. I did not realize that so many songs are so similar:

I remember playing DC Universe for a couple weekends. Even though I was set for PVE only, the constant prompts of people wanting to duel was so damn annoying. Maybe they fixed it, but I never went back to that game. I tried it for a couple weekends and it had way too many flaws for me to enjoy it. The hassle of just trying to meet up with a friend ruined the game for me. Defiance has done it best in terms of playing with friends and I expect all future co-op games to do the same. 1) Login 2) Hit right d-pad button to bring up social menu 3) Select friends online 4) Select friend's name and click "go to friend" 5) Play the game with your friend within a minute of logging in. Regardless of where anyone is in the game's story, you can join up with any friend and help them in the area / mission they are playing. It most likely won't count towards your own character's progression if you are not at that part in the game yet, but its still enjoyable cooperative playing with no "you don't have access to this area" crap. And there is PVP in defiance.. I play PVE only and I don't get harassed with PVP requests.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST - Official Trailer (2014)
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Movies, TV & Books
Yes... X-Men 3 was horrible. But just like that movie had too much focus on wolverine, so does this one. I know Hugh Jackman looks and sounds like Wolverine, but I'm starting to get a bit burned out on the constant emphasis of this character.- 13 replies

Thats a good point. A higher minimum would have definitely deterred resellers. If anything, the minimum $1 should probably get bumped up to $5 also. But honestly, if they did that they'd probably loose a lot of sales. Unless there is a game in the bundle I actually want to pay $5 for I'd be more hesitant to give them $5+ for games I might not even want to try or have time to play. But with the humble bundles getting better quality games, they could potentially drop this new steam connection method and just increase their prices instead. Other bundle sites don't have nearly as many good bundles, but all of theme still give out steam keys. All of those sites were obviously inspired by humble bundle and based off the same donation method. If this steam connect redemption sticks, then it could roll out to all the other bundle sites too. I think its stupid though. I've bought a digital game off amazon before.. when I went to download it they gave me a steam key. No steam connection required. Amazon has some good digital sales sometimes where people could pick up steam keys for $10 and the next day the same game is back up to $40, but I don't see amazon wanting to connect to my steam account. If anything, I think humble bundle is over reaching a bit. Instead, they could have all the games in their bundle combined into a single steam key and when someone redeems it, it says right on the steam client "Thank you for purchasing a humble bundle, if you bought this from a third party you were most likely ripped off." If its all one steam key, it'd make it impossible for anyone to resell just 1 game out of the bundle or gift games they already own too.

I looked into this some more after seeing a noticeable amount of complaints on twitter about it. Turns out, you log in to humble's site, connect it to your steam profile.. it has no access to your personal info, it only has access to add games. Once the games are added, you can go back to humble's site and then unlink your steam account from them. They only need the access long enough to add the games, which is more understandable now. Turns out when they did that Origin bundle, quite a few people were buying the bundles in bulk for the minimum amount and then selling them online for a large profit. It also turns out that its been going on for quite a while. People trading and selling extra steam keys they have from previous humble bundles. It was always in their terms that those games were supposed to be for those individuals only and not for sale or gifting. We could buy gift bundles for people, but I think just about everyone gave away some extra steam keys from bundles at some point.

*revives topic from 4 years ago* The LEGO® Movie - Official Main Trailer [HD] It could be a funny movie. But I was never into the lego games or cartoons. Maybe its just me, but I'm not really interested in running out to see this. It does have a good selection of celebrity voice actors though.

Thats a kick in the ass for Respawn. I'm sure EA will be making some good money off the deal though.- 49 replies

Humble Bundle no longer gives everyone steam keys. Instead you must now link your humble bundle account / purchase to your steam account. Basically you will have to give humble bundle access to your steam account and then they redeem the keys for you on your account. Its to prevent selective game gifting and reselling of purchased bundles. But I don't think I like the idea that humble bundle will have that kind of access to my account. Steam Key Redemption FAQ http://support.humblebundle.com/customer/portal/articles/1352577-steam-key-redemption-faq (Edit) This does not affect previous purchases. All those are still steam keys that can be redeemed. But starting with the Team 17 bundle, it requires this steam connection to redeem your games.

Good interview: We'll all get our own land speeders and ships, pvp is completely optional and meeting up with friends is going to be easy. I like what I'm hearing.

The problem with Sony's cell processor is that it took close to 7 years for game companies to finally show its full potential. Last of Us and Tomb Raider look amazing on PS3. But if it takes that long for developers to fully embrace the MS cloud abilities, then the Xbox One might not get the traction it needs now to secure more elaborate exclusive games from key developers. The PS4 will have gaikai streaming and potentially the same kind of cloud computing needed for games like Titanfall. Its a toss up in the air as to who will have the better cloud computing in the end, Titanfall will be the showcase for MS. If it is substantially better than COD, then its all good. As for PS4, I've seen their gaikai tech run entire games at 720p in a browser on the client end. I'm pretty certain Sony will be a strong competitor with their cloud power. However, all this requires a constant dedicated online connection. Microsoft should have stuck with that online always, DRM, etc. I think it would have worked to their advantage because it would have given all the developers the requirements and resources to utilize their cloud servers. I can see their point in those restrictions now, they were more of a guarantee of quality than "don't sell that used game." I guess we'll see what happens in the future. In light of the lower quality of Ghost on Xbox One, this emphasizes that the people that want to play offline or have bad internet connections would get the best single player quality from the PS4.

Worms has been one of the greatest games since my childhood. So for me, this is one of the best bundles I've seen for the Humble Weekly sales. A large chunk of Team 17's game collection is now in one bundle. Even though I already own most of these games, I'll get that first part of the bundle just for Worms Armageddon and Super Frog HD. https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly Click here to view the article

I think Terminator 2 was a superior sequel. T1 was good, but I like how T2 brought more of the time travel paradox and future tech into the story. Empire strikes back was great. Spider-Man 2 was better than the first one.. not the remake spider-man, the second movie with doctor octopus. That was better, but the third dropped the ball. Oh, and the second Batman movie with Heath Ledger as the Joker was much better than the first Batman movie. I didn't care much for the third one.

Battlefield 4: Official Single Player Story Trailer
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Video Games
I hated pop in effects on BF3 for PS3. It would happen on Wake Island conquest more than any other map. The main reason for it, as far as I can tell, is because of the large amount of vehicles on conquest mode. If every vehicle available on that map was in use, you could tell it was straining the match because of how the details of the grass, buildings and ledges would literally be constructed in your field of vision as you were running forward. It can be annoying, but it didn't affect gameplay. But being next gen consoles I would think issues like that would have been resolved. As for the Xbox version, jagged edges.. that sucks.- 17 replies

That seems to match up with all those reports of 50% more graphic power for the PS4. It still makes me wonder about the cloud based processing of the xbox one. Depending on how Titanfall looks on it compared to COD, it could be a massive difference when the power of MS's cloud is backing it up. But if thats the case, then it would mean the Xbox One would be more time consuming to develop for due to incorporating cloud processing into the game design. With many developers making a single game and then pushing it out to the two main consoles and PC, theres no guarantee that non-exclusive titles would ever take advantage of the full cloud capabilities the Xbox One would be offering. If that ends up being true, then many games could look noticeably better on the PS4.. but in the long term, once developers know MS's system in an out, the Xbox One might end up prevailing.. This could screw MS again tho. People might flock more to the PS4 over the next couple years just because it looks better now. The more I think about it, Microsoft should have stuck with all their initial plans to keep it more separate / different from the PS4.

Good point. As a joke / meme, I could see how young males would think its funny. In my past I probably would have too and it embarrasses me to acknowledge that. I think its because of the overly sexualized image of women in movies and on tv. It seems that many actresses get their jobs based on their cleavage size or how they can display their bodies. Its pretty bad that we've all gotten used to it and expect it. Its as if a woman isn't a woman unless they have their breasts on display for everyone. Breast cancer is horrible. To hell with saving the boobies. If a women needs to lob them off to save her life, then I hope she gets the support she needs. As for men, I find it disgusting that I have to see half naked men everywhere. On just about every talk show, a well exercised man is expected to lift his shirt and show off his abs and pecs to show off how sculpted they are for their next movie. Men can get breast cancer too, but you don't see any memes saying "Save the Pecs". Because if a man needs breast tissue removed, people would probably think, "Oh shit, it must be serious." But if its a woman they say "Save the titties." Very disturbing if you ask me. On a side note, if I got testicular cancer, I'd have that nut lobbed off. Screw "Save the testies." If I need one gone, I wouldn't hesitate to figuratively flick if off as if it was a large marble.

No, I'm pretty certain its the same guy. A-Team was all action with a plot like one of the Mission Impossible movies. But even tho Tom Cruise can somehow keep making sequels, A-Team gets none. Its a shame.
