*revives old Supernatural topic* Its been a couple season since I've posted in this.. the new season started tonight.. the angels have fallen, Cass is human and Sam has an angel.. interesting lead into the new season... at least this time neither of them was dead or recently brought back to life, etc. I hope they do something new with the demons in this season.. they have a lot of power, but they seem manageable.. like the angels.. For a couple humans, Sam and Dean seem to kill everything relatively easily now.. Sure they might get tossed around a bit, but they'll still gank some enemies in every episode. Now that I'm thinking about.. they have killed a lot of people, demons, etc. over the years.

I've looked into it before and as far as I can tell, Sony Vaio's can't get upgraded.. the graphics are fully integrated and there is no piece to take out to replace or upgrade. What I'd like to see is a graphics card thats a USB.. With the newest USB drives out there and the speeds that they operate on, it might work one of these days. Imagine if upgrading your graphics was a simple as a quick plug and play. That would be so much easier. I am now eligible for the steam beta hardware.. "You are now one out of 333,002 eligible beta candidates." These odds are looking pretty good for us.

That was a nice feature... just about all other FPS campaigns just stick you with whatever the story provides or what you might pick up. The variety of the possible load outs on the BO2 campaign was significant. It could be interesting to play it again and run shotgun most of the game. I never played BO1 so I was lost in terms of characters just like MOH.. I wish sequels would give us a simple 5 minute recap video of the previous games for new players. They could throw it in an options or settings screen so its out of the way. I'd have looked on youtube, but everyone posts the entire game or segments. I just want to see a 5-10 minute highlight reel, not watch someone play for 8 hours. \

They say the machines will be upgradable, but I wonder if they'll need specialty hardware.. I've never seen an upgradable video card for a laptop and this machine will be the same size.

Yeah.. thats what my brother told me. I never played the other games so I didn't see what the big deal was when things happened to the characters.

Those premium machines sound damn good.. I think I'm more interested in one of those than the next gen consoles.. but the price will be huge.

Only 8 more eps of Breaking Bad are left for me. Good thing I DVR'd the last day of the marathon leading up to the last episode.

After seeing all the DLC for this game I lost all interest in buying it. Game of the Year and Complete / Ultimate versions are the only games I'm interested in now. *has a flashback to all the button mashers of my past* -
lmao. That elevator glitch looks like fun. I'd try it, but my PS3 freezes so often when I try to play this I don't know if I'll be getting back on it or not.

I added Bad Company 2 to my wishlist on steam so I'll know when it goes on sale. I wouldn't mind playing it just for the campaign. BF3's campaign was not impressive. I beat it, but I didn't really care for the plot or how the plot was presented... and with that being said, that campaign was still better than Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter. I've beaten all three and BF3's was better.. yeah..

I definitely think the Airburst needs more ammo. It takes 3-4 shots to kill someone and you only get 8 rounds? I was taking some shots at a guy trying to get some hit markers and after 5 rounds I knew I didn't have enough ammo to even kill a guy.. and at that point my position is given away and someone is already killing me from behind. Once the game comes out all those CoD gamers will probably switch over to TDM and I'll be enjoying some conquest. btw, have either of you checked out the new battlelog for BF4? It has some good improvements over the BF3 battlelog. Go to loadouts, click on your primary, and when you mouse over all the other guns you have available for that slot it will show you a bar graph showing the stats of that weapon compared to what you currently have equipped. Its an easy way to see which gun is more accurate or powerful.

Thats exactly what it felt like.. It was all CoD all over again. If anything, the flag placement on Domination isn't the same as how it is on the Close Quarters maps of BF3. In those maps the flags are placed in positions that you can attempt to defend and they are also in corridors that forces people to move through those areas.. but on BF4 one of the flags are out in the open and the other flags are in larger rooms.. no corridor flags and larger open maps for domination allows the CoD style of TDM.

I got on the beta this morning and this game froze my PS3 three different times.. I had to hard reboot the system. Everyone is playing Domination like TDM.. not even going for the objectives.. most rounds lasted only about 8 minutes or so because once a team got all the flags it bled the tickets dry faster than killing each other. I couldn't even get into a conquest match because all the servers were full.

The PS3 still has some good games coming out for it later this year and into the next.. but I think the life of the PS3 will depend on how fast (or purposefully slow) Sony implements the PS3 game streaming on PS4s. Once any PS3 game can be purchased and played on a PS4, they'll no longer have any reason to keep supporting the PS3. If anything, they'll want to hold off on implementing the feature for another year or two, just to get people to buy the newer PS3 games, and then re-buy them again on a digital streaming account for PS4.

I hated that about Borderlands at first. I like hording weapons and inventory in all games and Borderlands forced me to deal with my hording issues head on. lol. I'd get a new assault rifle and then I'd have to decide if it was better than the other one I had.. but I liked the scope on the old one better.. etc.. I would spend 5 minutes figuring out which one I liked better before finally dropping a gun.. then 3 minutes later I find 4 more weapons and end up getting rid of that assault rifle I just decided to keep.. and then 5 more minutes later I'd get a new sniper rifle and I'd have to drop a good pistol for the space. The game was stressful for me just because of limited inventory. I think borderlands has helped me tho.. lol. I'm not nearly as bad at inventory hording now. The bosses and their conversations were usually fine.. but what always annoyed me on the metal gear games is the amount of pointless dialogue. It felt like every minute or 2 the action would be completely interrupted so Snake could discuss random things.

I like that the steam machine prototype will be the same dimensions of a laptop with a folded over screen. Compact and low profile. I bet it will run ridiculously hot. i3 systems seem pointless because of the lack of power, but it could still run probably 50% of the games on steam. SSHD.. nice.. but expensive. The load times on SSHDs is insanely fast. With no CD/DVD/Blu ray drives and everything being digital.. the only load times we'd ever see on this machine would be caused by whatever server a multiplayer game would be hosted on. I don't see how this could be a cheap piece of hardware. With a PC gaming laptop's specs, minus the expensive operating system and minus the monitor, my guess is that it'll probably have a starting price around $500.

Let me know if you get any airburst kills, I can't seem to get any good hits with it. The RPG arch trajectory on BF3 never made sense to me. They should nerf the power of it, not force people to lob it like they're trying to throw a baseball across a football field. Did either of you notice that kill assists above 80% counts as a kill? From what I've seen, as long as you deal 80%+ damage, you and the person who finishes them off both will get a kill towards their kill count. It doesn't look like it affects the ticket count as two kills, just the stats of the players. I like that.. There has been far too many times in BF3 where I deal that much damage and only get an assist out of it. I've heard from my brothers that the PS3 version is suffering from numerous crashes requiring full system reboots. I'm guessing that as people are unlocking more weaponry and gadgets, they're finding numerous bugs in the game. I hope the PS4 version doesn't have any of these issues.

With PS3s being a cheap, easy to mass produce product, they could potentially get huge sales there... but then again, anyone in China that wants a game console could probably buy a modded one with all games free at a local store.

RPGs are way overpowered. I was in a tank the other day, ran into a group of three people.. the reload rate is so much faster and with hardly any bullet drop, within 15 seconds I was killed by 6 RPGs. I liked killing things with the RPG.. but in a tank, you don't really stand a chance. btw, have you tried that airburst gun on support yet? I was using it all wrong. Check out this video: Even knowing how to use it, I still can't get kills with it worth a damn. ;_;

Now they need to scale up the design so they can put a massive engine in it, a pilot's seat and a crapload of weapons.
