    Whats your favorite weapon you've used in GTA5 so far? In SR3, I really liked the RPG and the RC Processor (allows you to control any vehicle remotely and explode it on command).

    I already own Bastion because I bought it for $1 as a weekly deal, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet.. I've heard great things about it tho. LIMBO is a great game. Pretty quick, but fun. I recommend using an xbox 360 controller for PC, it played great for me.

    I should schedule that friday off just to play the beta all day on PS3. I'm pretty certain I can get it on Oct 1st, but I'm going to assume there will be a PSN store update problem and the game wont even roll out until 7pm and then it'll have to download overnight, then connection issues.. I figure by friday the beta will be in full swing... Now I just need to prepare and clear off about 10gb or so off my ps3 for that download.

    I voted for Saints Row.. mostly because I've only played SR3 and enjoyed it. I've only played one game of GTA and I can't remember which one it was at the time and I only played it for about 10 minutes. Aside from the campaigns, do the Saints Row and Grand Theft Auto games play exactly the same? From videos I've seen on youtube they seem very similar in design. btw:

    Windows 8.1 formally known as Windows Blue is coming out as a free update to Windows 8 users.. but it doesn't look like it brings back the start menu, instead it brings back the start button and it gives you the options of bypassing the initial tile screen.     These are real, I've seen other reviews for them before. They seem ridiculous tho. It looks like a spider's legs are attached to it. Heres the xbox 360 version: Whats really funny is I remember controller attachments way back in the NES days: I had a friend when I was a kid that bought everything Nintendo.. I got to try out this attachment and his power glove.

    I was thinking about that Caspian Border antenna also, it could be considered their first levolution. I liked Wake Island and spent a lot of time on that map.. mostly because of the vehicles available on it, tanks, attack helicopters and mobile aa. If the Mobile AA was available on any other map for the PS3 version other than on one other map only on rush mode and only while defending, I probably wouldn't have played it so much. Once Armored Kill came out and the Mobile AA was finally on more maps, I hardly played Wake Island anymore. I noticed the vehicles can now get paint jobs.. I like that but at the same time I don't. I guess it'll help distinguish people tho. Hey, what tank are you in? The blue one!

    I'm glad the tactics involved will be nothing like CoD. And grunts! I was not expecting that. Nice to see some AI characters in there even if they are only there for boosting. It'll keep matches interesting.. instead of walking into a bouncing betty, we'll be getting shot at by a low level NPC. I think the only problem will be if those grunts have specific spawn locations. If people can figure out their spawn locations and spawn kill grunts, they could possibly boost in game to get additional titans. We'll have to see how it plays out. Now they just need to release it for PS4.

    I've noticed that this blog entry keeps getting random views so I felt like I should update it. This blog post was made back in October of 2009.. and in November of 2009 we decided to stick with vbulletin as described here: http://www.ancientclan.com/topic/9851-were-going-with-vbulletin/ In hindsight it was the worst mistake I have ever made for this website. vBulletin was a failed product and their quick "give me your money and take no time to think about it" really screwed me and all these years later I have a great resentment for vBulletin and their product. June 2010 After vBulletin finally released version 4.0.4.. I owned the software for 3 years and I was never able to use it on a live site because it would not meet the criteria I wanted. I'd rather pay the initial up front cost of IPB and renew the license when I feel like upgrading it. IPB's ticket support is great.

    The first season ended tonight.. and I think half these people are stupid. Whatshisface from Breaking Bad plays a good bad guy.. I really want to see him and his son killed off. The rest of the characters need to open their mouths and speak. On numerous occasions, a couple characters could easily have busted up a lot of Big Jim's credibility by just talking when they are in front of a group of people.. but nope, they keep their mouths shut. The same people had a police radio.. they could have easily started talking on it and spreading the word about Jim's evil deeds.. but no.. It all goes against common sense. The show left on a cliffhanger with no actual hints as to what is going to happen.. probably because the writers don't even know what they're planning on doing yet.

    I'm glad the stinger works the same.. but it still looks like it has too big of range. I always had far more kills with the IGLA than the stinger because of the reticule allowing an easier lockon IMO. Now that it will require a constant lock on, it should allow helicopters a better chance at being able to break the lock. Its a shame they didn't show how the air launchers work against jets though. Damn jets better not be able to just outrun them constantly. Jet experts on the PS3 annoy the living hell out of me because they can never get shot down by the soldiers on the ground.

    In a new video posted to youtube by daskro, we get a in depth look at the new launchers available in Battlefield 4: This is the list: Anti-Tank: MBT-LAW FGM-418 JAVELIN FGM-172 SRAW MK153 SMAW RPG-7V2 Anti-Air:FIM-92 STINGER SA-18 IGLA Javelins require a constant lock now.. thats very different. I kind of like that, it forces people to keep themselves exposed for those few extra seconds.. Its a shame the RPG still doesn't act like it does in real life, but I suppose it does need to get nerfed a bit considering how powerful it is. I have a feeling the SMAWs and SRAWs will be the most widely used.Also, here is a video from Battlefield showing the difficulty of sniping with changing weather: I like sniping, and honestly, I like this.. It will make shots more difficult but it will also allow people to get out of spawn traps. With waves and being able to dive under water, easy sniping kills might be done for.     That could be a strong possibility. In terms of creativity, they could make the Walking Dead telltale game into a standalone series. It takes place in the same universe and is completely separate from the plot of the existing series. I just checked and there are currently almost 3500 fanfics on fanfiction.net alone. They could swipe plot lines off of so many stories. lol. Of course half of those fictions are probably made by 12 year old girls that like yaoi.
