    Maybe its just PS3, but attack helicopters seem pointless on almost every map nowadays. Once the opposing team sees an attack helicopter everyone switches to stingers. Flare 1 and its fine.. but then you get locked on again instantly and don't have a chance. Because of the range, I can't even fly away fast enough, because if there are at least 2 people at different locations with stingers, you'll never escape a lock. And thats not even counting the expert jet pilots that are already homing in on you. The only thing you can do is stay low and go after tanks and infantry up close.

    Thats an interesting way to do it. I like how Defiance does it to an extent.. In group events, the difficulty increases based upon the amount of players that are within the event's range. But for missions that require a specific amount of players to beat it, those are in the co-op menu.. while in game, choose the co-op mission and if you are not in a group, it'll put you into a queue waiting for other players that are going to play that same mission. It usually only take a minute or so and it warps you to the mission start point. Its a bit easier to do that then have the mission take up a physical location on the map and hope someone else is waiting there for other people to help out.

    I noticed grenade indicators are still very noticeable and gives people plenty of time to get out of the way.. I'd like to see grenade cooking as a feature. I also noticed that the load out on the jets had 4 upgrades active at a time instead of just 3. I hope stingers don't have the ridiculous range like they currently do in BF3. Jets can outrun them, but choppers are just sitting ducks unless they keep low to the ground at all times. Being able to 'watch' a game is great. I've always wanted to be able to see how other people are playing and what their tactics are.

    I remember getting all the DLC for BF3 early on PS3. I never really saw the point in that. I remember seeing people on xbox and pc complaining with every dlc release.

    The campaign sounds good.. co-op vs AI and other players.. but the campaign is always online. I have a feeling more games will be online only, even in single player, just like MS was intending to begin with. This isn't a problem for me because I've been playing online only single player games since Guild Wars 1. But people with bad internet connections might as well stay away from this game. I do know a couple people with internet problems and one of them prefers CoD just because he can play offline multiplayer against a bunch of bots. Its not the same as real people, but at least he can get his game on.

    That was probably the best Bruce Wayne.. but for Batman, he should emulate the batman from: "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse". That Batman was great. Even as a normal human, he was taking on Darkseid.

    I noticed the Xbox One will get early access to DLCs for Call of Duty and early access to at least one of the BF4 dlcs. I'm guessing MS is either paying the developers extra or they have some contracts forcing the companies to give them benefits over Sony.

    I don't think Ben Affleck will make a good Batman. His performance as Daredevil was horrible. I watched that movie once and I never wanted to see it again simply because of how horrible his character was. When I heard Jensen Ackles from Supernatural could have been the potential new Batman I didn't think it would happen, but I think he would have been a much better choice than Ben Affleck. Jensen Ackles has a strong pronounced jaw too, he'd have probably looked right with the mask on. Ben Affleck however, will look like Ben Affleck wearing a batman costume. Christian Bale was a bad Bruce Wayne IMO, his Batman wasn't all that great either.. but with Ben Affleck portraying him, I don't see how he could even be taken seriously doing a tough man gravely voice. I think this crossover is supposed to be Man of Steel 2.. so I doubt the Batman being portrayed will be based off the Nolan movies.. mostly because I don't see Ben Affleck actually following in another actor's footsteps. He'll probably remake Batman into his own version.

    Were the other two movies good? I've never seen Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. The trailer for this looks good and that review makes me want to see it.

    The green laser in the game will be so powerful it will literally blind the person playing through their HDTV.. damn those perfect graphics! We should all stick with PS3, the graphics on BF4 on PCs and next gen consoles will be too good.. too distracting...

    A massive amount of public events will be good as long as there is a lot of variety. As it is now in Defiance, many public events got a bit boring, mostly arkfalls. Once you've done all the different varieties of them, there was nothing new to it.. The siege events were much better, but were only available for a limited time.

    Thats some good improvements. I like how weather is involved and how the map changes based on certain key events. Highlighting the enemy that killed you is much better. It should cut down on trollers and make flushing out snipers a bit easier. The spotting is definitely improved.. "A machine gunner has been spotted east of your location" or something like that. I'd much rather hear where the enemies general location is instead of just getting a brief red triangle on a mini map or having to spin my guy around looking for the spot indicator of the enemy. And it doesn't look like the wind will affect the bullet drop or trajectory which I'm glad for, its hard enough taking into account for bullet drop over distance against a moving target. A few things I noticed.. I saw an enemy mav flying around.. and on some of the kill screens I noticed one load out had laser sight and another had green laser sight. Interesting. I wonder what a green laser sight will do differently.. maybe its better for night vision scopes?

    I want this game. It seems to take every aspect of FPS and third person games I enjoy and blends them perfectly into an action / mmorpg style of game play. As long as people can instant teleport to their friends locations on the same server like in Defiance, then this would be a great co-op game to play through a campaign.

    You can see your legs!? Damn PS3.. I could have been seeing legs... lmao. The videos I've seen of BF3 on Ultra settings on youtube have been impressing me for over a year now. That game has been looking like a next gen title from the beginning. I can only imagine how huge of a difference it will be for me to go from the BF3 PS3 version to BF4 on PS4. It will be jaw dropping.

    If they sold the system without kinect at this point, they would probably infuriate countless developers that have added kinect features based off their developer kits. If MS wanted to really sell the kinect as a new standard they should have done what Sony did with the PS3 when they were establishing blu ray as a new standard. Sell the system at a loss for the first 6 months or so until the costs to produce the system drops.. then they'll make money. As it is with their $100 extra per unit cost, they'll be losing sales. If they lost money initially it could benefit them in the long run with new xbox live memberships, word of mouth from fans and extra features the PS4 does not have all for the same price. Right now, Sony is going to get the jump on MS just like MS did on Sony in the last gen consoles.

    Populas is such an old game. I remember watching my brother play it back in the early 90s. I've been interested in the Command and Conquer games, but the new game added to the bundle is a standalone expansion. ehhh. I'll probably still give them the extra $3 because its for charity and they'll probably add another game or two before its over.. but then again with other 5 days left, who knows. I can try to play BF3 on my laptop, but from videos I've seen on youtube, the quality on an HD 3000 intel graphics looks hideous and unplayable.

    I wouldn't be surprised if PS4s are on ebay within minutes of the launch. Sony should have seen this coming and started ramping up production months ago.

    Well thats good to know. I thought I've been missing out on all these limited SHiFT codes since I don't have the game yet. I figured I'd wait until a game of the year edition comes out to pick it up.

    That reminds me of Tomb Raider. It had excellent auto-ducking behind objects when in combat and I'd never get stuck on any terrain.

    lmao. I've heard many mixed things about Brink and decided to never give it a chance. Co-op would be good for this game. Have a squad work together to complete a mission against AI.. Defiance has that now with numerous co-op missions but its mostly four people running together killing all enemies on the map. But for FPS, I really enjoyed the BF3 co-op, it had specific things each person had to do, like sniping or helicopter flying while the other person is the gunner, etc.

    Sounds like a nice setup. I'll be heading back into BL1 after I beat KOTOR 1. BL1 was good fun, but I needed a break from FPS games for a while. Speaking of Borderlands 2, do you think a game like D3 would benefit from something like SHiFT codes?

    I haven't had the chance to play for the past week and I'm feeling a bit of KOTOR withdrawal. lol. Good news is that Labor day weekend I'll have my upgraded internet.. and I'll have a 5 day weekend. If anyone would be interested in watching, I'll be streaming some KOTOR gameplay if I can get the program to work correctly.

    The air jumping and titan combat is very impressive and should make for some great multiplayer, but I'm not seeing any major class differences. Its probably like CoD in that regard, mix and match whatever gear you want.. As for the campaign, they need to have a good plot to go with this to solidify it as a franchise. However, depending on how Destiny plays when it comes out, Titanfall might just fall to the curb.

    How is this game? Anyone playing / enjoying it yet? Any major differences in terms of gameplay compared to SR3? Still have a cell phone menu to call in backup?
