  1. The Trailer doesn't show much of anything except for the title of the game. I liked Firefly and the movie Serenity.. I'm not certain I'll care for a smartphone game though. I doubt it will ever get as popular as Angry Birds, but it could still be fun if its done right. Source: https://www.keepflying.com/ Click here to view the article

  3. The best DLC I ever bought was Battlefield 3 premium. The over 100 hours of gameplay I put into that game and on all the DLC map packs was well worth it. I never cared for digital games until I bought my first humble bundle. I played the hell out of World of Goo. And then about a year later I got Portal for free on Steam.. it was my first Steam game. Then I found out my humble bundles had steam keys.. After I saw how easy it was to use steam and how quickly I could access my game library, I became a fan.. then I saw their sales.. and I've been getting digital games almost exclusively ever since. Digital is way cheaper than buying a physical disc. I'm surprised that xbox 360 has had digital restrictions like this the entire time. It'll be a pain for me at some point.. On my PS3 we have two main accounts, mine and Lady's. I bought Worms Armageddon digitally and we both played it a lot.. It was very convenient to be able to play it on all accounts on the console so we can have our own save games and trophy info. If the PS4 doesn't let us share our digital purchases and doesn't have family / console sharing, then I'd like to see them give us an option like secondary users.. As in.. I could log into my account, then switch user to her account to play the game. Technically my account would still be signed in, but her username would be used for save info and trophies. If they did something like that, then we could play each other's digital games / DLC. Being able to go to a friend's house, logging in and start playing your games sounds good, but if your friend wants to play your games, he'd be playing as your character. I'd rather login to access my games and then let the friend screw up his kill / death ratio on his own username instead of mine.
  4. 8 years seems quite excessive for just a comment. It makes me wonder if old comments could now be a liability. Imagine adding a new friend on facebook from some zynga game, then that person searches your previous comments and then reports a comment from 5 years ago to the police. wtf.
  5. I think the only problem with PS4's DRM in terms of physical game discs will be DLC. If I buy a physical copy of BF4, play the hell out of it with my username, decide to play as a different username on my PS4, I'll be screwed when it comes to DLCs.. If I buy DLC on one account, then it would be a digital game purchase.. if that purchase is only accessible to the account it was purchased on, then even tho I can play the physcial game on any of my accounts, the DLC will be locked to only the account it was purchased on. Whereas on PS3, I have BF3 & all DLCs and I can play all the DLC maps on any account on my console. PS4 looks like it will be more restrictive. I just hope that with this Steam style approach, they'll have steam style sales. If I'd have to buy multiple copies of the same DLC for different accounts, that could be huge money, but if they have steam style sales, 75% off dlc could rake them in some money if people are willing to buy multiple copies of DLC for multiple accounts. I think that was mostly because they were going to DRM all physical game discs and the 24 hour check in was to make sure they still owned the game. MS would have been better off saying all games are unsellable. It would have negated the 24 hour check in. When I bought my physical copy of StarCraft 2 for PC, the game is full DRM. I still have the disc but theres no way I could ever resell the game. I think that was what MS wanted to do, but too many kids play consoles. They don't have loads of money and being able to resell a game is too much of an incentive for the younger audience. I like how Sony is doing it. Physical games are just that, while digital will be DRM.
  6. I beat this game yesterday. This is a solid game. The story, voice acting, plot and writing is so good I think Naughty Dog made something they could franchise. They could honestly make this into a movie or even a series that could easily be as good as, if not better than The Walking Dead. After I beat the game I wanted more.. not necessarily killing more infected, but I wanted more story. The ending was great, but man.. I would have loved an epilogue.
  7. You make a good point. There is no real anonymity anymore between offline and online. The internet is basically public domain and everyone has to now be on their best behaviors, especially if posting and saying things with their real names.

    Who was Kaede?

lmao, so true. I'd have been like facebook.. log in, 99 notifications. wtf.
  9. I thought Bale was horrible in Terminator Salvation. I was glad most of the movie was about Marcus Wright because it made It interesting to watch because of a new character.. The ending was stupid tho.. oh, and after watching Star Trek, I watched Terminator Salvation again a few weeks later and kept wondering why skynet wanted Chekov dead.
  10. I am fuzzy everywhere. I think Pchan is watching Pacific Rim.

    Who was Kaede?

We had quite an active message board back then. We were all young and mostly part time only work / students too.. So much free time back in the day.
  12. Now that is a very different anime compared to what I've seen over the years.. I'll check this out.
  13. The Playstation 4 will be noticeably different in how digital games are handled compared to the current PS3: .It appears that the PS4 will try to emulate Steam's success in digital game management by tying your digital games to your specific account. With the games tied to your account you will be able to access your digital games on any PS4 you log into. This is very different compared to how the PS3 handles digital games. Currently the PS3 will allow you to have up to two PS3 consoles active for your digital games. Which means if you own two PS3 consoles you can log into each of those consoles and download any of your digital game purchases. However, it is possible to log into any PS3 system and still access your digital games. By having 1 primary console for your account at your home, you can easily go to a friend's house, use their PS3, log into your PSN account and download your games and start playing. That system would then be considered the second active system for your digital game purchases. Of course, once you finish playing at your friend's house you must remember to not only log off, but also to deactivate your PSN account off their console (PlayStation Support). This is burdensome and many people do not know that they have to do that extra step. The PS4 simplifies this and allows you to log in to any PS4 to play your games. This is where the next major difference between the two systems take place. On a PS3 you can purchase a digital game, download it and all users on that console have access to that game. If the PS4 will have all digital games tied to a specific account, then all users on any console could very well be locked out from having access to playing these games. If all you have for your game systems is a single user account, then this is not an issue. But if you have a family with multiple user accounts for everyone in the house, then this could become a large issue if the only way to play a digital game is to be logged in as the account that owns it. Hopefully the PS4 will have a family sharing option that allows all users on a specific console to play games purchased, because if not, physical game discs will have another advantage over digital. Who was Kaede?

Kaede was fun. Way back over 10 years ago... https://www.google.com/search?as_q=&as_epq=&as_oq=Kaede&as_eq=&as_nlo=&as_nhi=&lr=&cr=&as_qdr=all&as_sitesearch=ancientclan.org&as_occt=any&safe=images&tbs=&as_filetype=&as_rights=
  16. Too slow. Most of episode 3 was 2 guys having a constant conversation while searching for a rogue police officer.. in the end the 2 guys accomplish nothing. Oh, and theres a house with a generator that a bunch of kids were having fun in until one guy ends up being a douchebag and couple other kids have seizures. Nothing is happening in this series.. So I skipped tonights episode, I'll probably watch it on demand were I can hopefully skip thru commercials and bad dialogue to see if something happens. I can already tell, this is going to be a series that is meant to drag on until the ratings slip and then they give us an ending season.
  17. If they started doing stronger individual walkers then it'd be seen as a rip off of Resident Evil. So I doubt they'll do that. I know Woodbury had a bunch of older people.. I hope they don't drag out explaining a bunch of new characters.
  18. Awesome game and thats a damn good price for it. Tomb Raider is probably one of the best looking games ever made. Everywhere in the game is like a piece of art with so much detail.
  19. I have a feeling the show will have to focus more on the zombie aspect to keep their massive fan base. Considering how they would have to water down some of the new human enemies, people might just see the new antagonists as rehashes of the governor.
  20. Awesome. I'd love to see a new Godzilla movie.
  21. The cheapest I've seen Bioshock Infinite was $29.99. I don't think it'll go much cheaper than that for a couple months. In case anyone hasn't noticed this, but many publishers have their games on sale too.. Anywhere from 30%-50% off numerous games: http://store.steampowered.com/browse/publishers
  22. I follow the mythbusters on twitter and they seem to love this movie. I haven't seen it yet, but does it end with the possibility of a sequel? Could Pacific Rim turn into a franchise of movies, or it will it be a single film?
  23. I'm really looking forward to season 4. Its going to be a "best of" season according to the guy.. So all the "best moments" kind of scenarios from all the previous seasons will be in season 4. I'm assuming this means there will be less scenes of people searching the woods endlessly and men bickering over woman drama. There has to be more action. And I'm glad the new season will refocus on the walker threat. Most of the walkers seem so weak in the series. Unless they are in a huge horde or they sneak attack, walkers pose no real threat anymore in this series.
  24. Last of Us is amazing. I'm really liking the shotgun and hunter's rifle now. I suck with the Bow and Arrow.. x_x
