Exactly. If the prison turns out to be like that group in Atlanta all they'll be able to do is stay at the prison and keep waiting for new adventures or enemies to come to them. And with those elderly people, a one legged man and baby anchoring them to the prison, they don't have the option to up and flee if they need to anymore. Maybe some of their group will split off and we'll have two groups now. A base camp and an exploration party. It sucks that Milton and Andrea are dead. Both of them could have had a great impact on the next season. Carl's speech to Rick was the best part of the episode. He laid the truth out. I don't blame him for shooting that guy either. He told him to drop the gun and instead he kept inching closer to hand it over. Sorry, but no. Thats a classic trick to close the gap and then attack. He said "Drop the gun" not hand it over. The moment he started inching closer he sealed his fate. The look on Hershel's face was great tho. Considering everything he has witnessed since the zombie apocalypse, to then realize that the next generation will be nothing but killers really must have put a shock into him. To me, his expression right then when Carl pulled the trigger, was like he realized the world really was done for. I agree with that. I'm not interested in watching "The Walking 'Almost' Dead"

I'd love the full separation of church and state.. but what I'd like just as much is the separation of church and everything. I have never gone 1 day in my life without someone referencing something religious. Whether its the local news talking to some priest that had a prayer vigil for a murdered teen, or anything on facebook. Its always there. Its not as bad as in Pakistan or some of the muslim countries where they broadcast over loud speakers that its time for prayer. But still, we have the right of religious freedom in the US. But its more like we have the right to not have a religious affiliation, but not the right to be protected from it. I know I'm not being accosted by people that want to hammer me in the head with a bible. But what I would like is not have it pushed on me. Some people want to shield their children from violence or graphic scenes on television and there are warnings for it. But in terms of religion its up to the person presenting the news or the director of the movie / tv shows and there are no warnings for it. I can only assume that the people pushing their religious beliefs in these programs, news, movies, internet images, etc. know they are emphasizing their beliefs. They are not ignorant of that, but the true ignorance is like what you said.. they pick and choose their beliefs. If they pick and choose their beliefs they should consider themselves agnostic and stop slamming the cross image on everything especially considering that the more orthodox people of that same religion are the people that are spearheading the very arguements many self proclaimed christians are against.

Since Disney purchased Lucasfilms back in October of last year, they have been fast at work to get their newly acquired properties back into the theaters. Disney surprised everyone a few months ago with the announcement of a new Star Wars movie. And even more surprising was that they are getting the original actors to reprise their roles in the sequels. (See Harrison Ford to Return as Han Solo!) But it looks like this is a pattern Disney will copy for another lesser known Lucasfilms movie. Willow 2 is apparently in the works! In an accidental press release, it was confirmed that Val Kilmer (Madmartigan) and Warwick Davis (Willow Ufgood) will be reprising their roles from the classic adventure / fantasy movie. http://www.lucasfilm.com/films/willow/ April Fools! (Imagine the walker bodies are gone and corn is growing everywhere.) The Walking Dead is set to start filming the much anticipated Season 4 in may. Since that is only a month away, an anonymous insider with their hands on the first episode has already leaked some unsettling information online. Wow. This does not sound like a good season... I guess AMC should have worked harder to keep show runner, Glen Mazzara on the team. http://artsbeat.blog...atest-casualty/ April Fools! Click here to view the article

In a not too surprising announcement, Paramount Pictures has confirmed today that Shia Labeouf will be joining the cast of TMNT in the role of Casey Jones. He will play opposite of Megan Fox (April O'Neil). For those unfamiliar with TMNT, Casey Jones wears a hockey mask and cut-off biking gloves and carries his weapons in a golf bag over his shoulder. His weapons include baseball bats, golf clubs, cricket bats, and hockey sticks. He is a master of stealth, as he has never been caught by the NYPD despite his bizarre appearance. In most installments, he appears as a love interest for April O'Neil. Along with producer Michael Bay, this will mark the first time all three have worked together on a movie since Transformers 2. As for me, I have no interest in watching this abomination. These 3 individuals will not be happy unless they have ruined every aspect of my childhood. April Fools! Click here to view the article

http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2013-03/scientists-build-hollow-virus-cheaper-vaccines If the only thing needed to make a vaccine is the outer shell of the virus, then this could be huge. This could lead to large breakthroughs in vaccinations. And because there is no living virus genetic material, all vaccines made in this way should never have negative side effects or cause potential illnesses.

I'm surprised that people would complain about Google's Doodle. Its a quirky gimmicky thing they do. I'm glad google doesn't make doodles for every religious holiday tho. They operate globally and would probably offend more people if they did actually make religious doodles.

Andrea is done for. I feel bad for Michonne. I did not except the Governor to slaughter all his people. Their inexperience is what got them killed. The prison group used scare tactics.. lured them all in, flash banged and attacked, released some walkers and the Woodbury army fled. They ran their asses off and the Governor had to chase them all down just to try and regroup them. The moment they showed disobedience he snapped. I was wondering why they didn't run into him and his two cronies as they were making it to Woodbury, but after they got there it made sense. The Governor had no need to return there. All that was left at Woodbury was the old, possibly sick or children. Just a bunch of mouths to feed and no real way to defend them. But now Rick's group brings them all back to the prison? Wow.. That surprised me. So many more mouths to feed. And all those people don't even know how to defend themselves.

Welcome to my new Recipe Blog. I will use this blog to post all my new recipes. All of my old recipes can be found in my original blog by following this link: http://www.ancientclan.com/search/?tags=Recipe Instead of posting any more recipes in my original blog, I have created this one so I can create more specific categories for the recipes themselves. Pork, Chicken, Beef, Italian, Mexican, BBQ, Grilled, etc. As well as using tags, I will have many specific categories just for my blog and some recipes will fall into multiple categories. Tags are useful as well, and will allow us to view everyone's recipes across all blogs on this site. I recommend that anyone that wishes to make their own recipe blog to please type the tag "Recipe" without the quotes, in the tag field of blog entries so they can show up in the combined blog Recipe tag link. (Edited to fix link to recipes)

Vikings - History Channel Original Series

The preview for tonights episode looks like a lot of sh*t is going down. I didn't hear anything about it being a mid-season finale or anything, but the preview looks like a major plot change is going to happen at the Viking village and Ragnar looks like hes going to be killed.- 39 replies

The Wolverine - International Trailer
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Movies, TV & Books
I didn't think X-Men: First Class was going to be good, but I agree that it was a much better movie than the previous X-Men and Wolverine movies. A sequel to that movie wouldn't be that bad, but I wish Marvel would get the movie rights back instead. If Marvel had the rights, they could tie in the X-Men into the ongoing Avengers plot lines. Wolverine is a great character but his battles always seem lackluster to me. I'd like to see him actually fight some strong enemies. If Wolverine was in the Avengers movie, would he have been taking out enemies left and right fighting alongside Hulk and Thor, or would he have been on the ground fighting with Captain America and the others? Wolverine has the potential to take on some seriously strong opponents, but instead he only does fist fights and always seems to take damage to emphasize his healing ability. I'd rather see a movie with Wolverine vs. Omega Red, Juggernaut, or the Hulk. With how Sabretooth was portrayed in the last Wolverine movie, I have no intentions of running out to the theater to see this sequel. Go to the last part of the quote and hit enter twice so you can start typing under the quote. Wait.. you liked a leaked no CGI unfinished movie better than the finished movie?- 10 replies

I hope Daryl makes it all the way to the end of the series. As long as Rick and Daryl keeps kicking ass, I'll be content watching the TWD series.

The Wolverine - International Trailer
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Movies, TV & Books
You mean "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"? I didn't care much for that movie. The character Deadpool was way off.. As for CGI, I liked that the movie didn't use much CGI, but what it did use was pretty bad: http://www.chud.com/23828/chud-list-the-worst-cgi-in-history-day-4/ http://avengersnews.com/2009/05/05/what-happened-to-wolverines-claws-between-movies/- 10 replies

Thats way different... its so different I think I'll pass on even reading the comic just so I don't skew my view of the series. Its one thing to read a manga and then see the same scene play out in an animated series.. but with TWD, I think I'll pass on the comic all together until the series is done.
