Wow.. I did not know half of those Superman statistics. I give them credit for doing all that work with the numbers. Its pretty solid. Superman is ridiculously over powered. Imagine if the people from Krypton survived and all figured out the powers of a yellow sun.. an entire species of supermen/women would have been a force that could take over galaxies.

Amazon is having a huge THQ sale: http://www.amazon.com/THQ-Tantalizing-Medley-Download/dp/B00A3F5S0O/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1358123756&sr=1-1&keywords=thq+medley Metro 2033 Homefront Red Faction Armageddon Red Faction Guerrilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine’. $11.99 Not bad. I already own 3 of these games from the steam bundle tho. Maybe those other 3 games are worth the $12 tho.

Have any of you seen some of the multiple exclusive Japan only oreos? Heres a link that shows only some of them: http://www.napajapan.com/Products.asp?brand=27 They also have rectangular oreos and a variety of flavors. There are even some with a completely different kind of cookie part with no chocolate varieties. The US market is being screwed by not getting these.

Our blogs are finally converted and back online! For the few of you that had existing blogs, you will need to go to you blog, click on "Options", then "Manage Settings" and check all your settings, privacy, etc. You will also need to click on "Add Blocks" and choose whatever blocks you would like to have displayed in the right column. If you had categories you will need to create new categories and then edit each individual blog entry to move them into the correct category. Also, if you had any inline images, you will notice that the old vb attach tag does not work and you will have to edit your blog entry to properly put your images back into place. If not then the images are still there, just grouped together at the bottom of the entry. I think the only person affected by the image issue is just me. Check out the blogs and if you want to make one, help yourself, blogs are available to all members. Click here to view the article

Most of my heroes when I was growing up were from video games. Cloud was the man. He was the hero that wanted to save the world, weird seeing as he started off his journey as a fake and a terrorist. Locke and Sabin were some great guys. Everyone in FFVI had their own lives but through so many turns of events these ppl all joined up to save the world. Mario in his quest to save the princess. Classic. Although more cartoony, Mario was the hero that spanned multiple games and consoles. He was dedicated to killing goombas and saving the girl. And he reminded me that he was always ready for the fight and the adventure the only thing holding him back was my own skill and determination. Chrono's epic adventure through time and space and all the friends he makes along the way always made me feel better about myself. Heres this guy that never talks to anyone and he still gets a bunch of close friends that would all die for each other.

The raptors were the best dinosaurs in the movie. But what sucks now is that scientists claim the dino dna in a piece of amber would never work to make a Jurassic park. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/11/dna-half-life-jurassic-park-dinosaur_n_1955062.html

This reminds me of an old article I heard over 5 years ago: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4647581 It makes me wonder what new dinosaur discovery will be announced for Jurassic Park IV.

Star Wars music was always epic. Indiana Jones was pretty good too: Even tho its not a movie, Battlestar Galactica has some of the best scores I've ever heard on television: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-gvgPEtv4g

Ah yes, I remember the Phantom being in the news multiple times and then never turning into a sell-able product. If I remember correctly everyone would need a minimum of road runner turbo to run it. So imagine if someone was trying to run netflix while someone else downloaded a large file, those games would have glitched out like a bastard. Thats some impressive money!

Who'd a thunk it.

I've watched a couple episodes of Adventure Time and Regular Show because there is some comedy in it that makes me laugh... but I have never seen My Little Pony. I remember an old series years ago.. did they remake it? What channel is it on? -
Awesome. I just hope the plot is better than Jurassic Park 3. That movie was really lacking in the plot department.. I even hoped the kid's parents would be killed by dinosaurs.

Exactly. I would never use laser sights because it gives away position. So I wanted to see what the hell benefit a laser sight has. And its all about hip firing. If you are mostly lined up with a guy and have a laser sight on, you can get hit markers like in COD. If you ADS almost all laser sight benefit is negated unless you are running with iron sights, and even then its minimal. Its mostly noticeable when you are playing close quarters, TDM or a close combat map like metro rush. Try it out. You'll be surprised how deadly your hip firing is. Just make sure they are mostly in your crosshairs and you'll get some kills. Once you get good at it, you'll get used to turning your laser sight off as you crouch and reload under cover, then turn laser sight back on and rush around a corner and slaughter ppl.

The main reason mental health wasn't as much of an issue back in the day is because pharmaceutical companies didn't have as many drugs as they do now. When I was a kid I had severe anxiety and some social issues. A bit of therapy and I coped with my own problems. If I had these same issues now, I would have been given 3 different medications: anti-anxiety, anti-depressents and anti-social phobia. And then I would be given therapy sessions and then end up on SSI for the rest of my life because of the side effects caused by all these medications and the lack of interest in completing school or getting a job because I would be vegetabled out by the meds.
