Doctor Who starts from a beginning, but not THE beginning. The show is the longest show EVER. It started in 1963. The show stopped in 1989, but got resumed in 2005. But when the show was resumed in 2005 it was made so anyone who has never seen a single episode before could start the series, enjoy it and not feel out of the loop. The movie was interesting, but it was not what I was expecting.

I didn't care much for Idiocracy, but that movie did have some valid points.
-
I saw a commercial for the movie and it looked so confusing.

I recommend: Eureka Supernatural Terra Nova Mythbusters Warehouse 13 Doctor Who Fact or Faked Paranormal files Avengers: Earths mightiest heroes (cartoon series) Star Trek the next generation Farscape Paul McCartney Really is Dead (good conspiracy video. ) Jericho (awesome series) Dan Aykroyd Unplugged on UFOs (not a comedy, Dan Aykroyd is really serious about UFO conspiracy) As for documentaries GG.. there are so many. Search "Nova" and you'll see a bunch of good documentaries on interesting science topics. And DX, if you liked Fullmetal Panic, check out The Slayers. I love that series. X'D Its a way different anime, but the comedy mixed with action is great.

The giant boat Noah is about to fall down onto fishman island.. all while the straw hat crew are in the middle of their battles. Good fight scenes are happening!

http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2012/10/04/162263750/scientists-create-fertile-eggs-from-mouse-stem-cells And heres a couple more links about the article: http://www.npr.org/2012/10/05/162372205/from-stem-cells-to-eggs-and-beyond http://www.npr.org/2012/10/05/162342562/scientists-use-stem-cells-to-create-eggs-in-mice This is huge. Scientists in the near future should be able to take skin cells off of adult humans, convert them into eggs or sperm and make babies between two people regardless of gender. Two males can have an offspring together, or 2 women. This is also huge for people with infertility problems. New eggs could be made at any stage of a person's life for reproduction. Now.. if someone made a sperm and an egg out of their own cells and was the sole parent of that child.. would that be considered an offspring or a clone of that individual? hmm... And heres another thing... If fertility clinics start offering this service.. what if someone steals some celebrity skin cells. Someone could shake a celebrity's hand, get accidentally scraped by their nails and boom.. skin cells into celebrity baby! Child support? celebrity scandal magazines? Clone Justin Beiber and sign the kid up as a disney star at an early age for money.

Hmmm... I would like piloting a metal gear instead of shooting at one. I'll have to get my hands on that game eventually.

X'D That was the first time I watched the Metal Gear Solid 4 one. Meryl and Psycho Mantis are in it!? I should probably play that game someday.

Maybe MW3 is better on the ps3.. The other thing I noticed was all the chatting. Text chatting about graphics cards, etc. and everyone I heard talking sounded and acted like 14 year old boys and no one was actually talking about gameplay except for an occasional gloating.

Steam had a free multiplayer weekend for the game so I downloaded it and tried it out. My laptop doesn't handle the graphics that great so I had to scale it all down and was able to play it perfectly fine. I'm not going to complain about how the game looks because I obviously didn't see it in its finest, but I am going to complain about the gameplay. I played some TDM and I noticed there is no real teamwork involved in this game and everyone is either acting like rambo or sitting in a corner wearing a ghillie suit sniping people through walls. At one point I shot someone with a sniper rifle and got a +40 assist.. Does that mean my shot only did 40% damage? Anyway, some level 80 guy was sniped me probably 3 times and in the kill cam I could see how the first one hit me.. the second time I didn't even see myself in his scope, just the red indicator stating I was somewhere in the distance that he was aiming at and I think he shot through a building, and the third time I saw myself in his scope at a decent distance away, ran into a building and he somehow sniped me through a concrete wall. wtf. I play bf3 on ps3 and its been a while since I've done any multiplayer on a pc, but I still went about a .5 k/d. Anyone play COD: MW3? What are your thoughts on the game?

Well, I don't mind the entire game bundles for $1. But the trend of having so many dlcs that they have to be bundled is pretty damn ridiculous. Or the fact that the amount of money it would cost for all the dlc for a game is the same price of the game or even more is pretty bullshit when the games cost $60. I did notice that a game I'm going to buy "Worms Revolution" is coming out for $15. And of course even they have a season pass for 4 dlcs for $15. Normally tho, I would think a game like worms would probably cost $20 new.. so its not too bad that it would cost $30 total because of the lower price of the initial game. But paying $100+ for games with dlc is a trend I don't like in the slightest. I payed for it for Battlefield 3, but thats only because I play the hell out of that particular game with over 160 hours of gameplay already.. With the price of dlcs now I'm more interested in putting my money and gameplay into only a few games and then waiting a year or so for game of the year editions at a hugely discounted rate.

As many of you know there are a variety of game bundles out there.. most of them available for steam. Some of these bundles are good for making new indie games known or for getting some quality games for dirt cheap. At first, many of the bundles were great.. $1 and you can get 8 games. Now many of them require a minimum purchase price to get the games while others are still set so you can the majority of the games for $1 and then pay a minimum average to unlock the rest of the games. The following links are the websites I check for these bundles. First off, this is the main website I check on occasion for info on new game bundles or reviews of games included in those bundles: http://indiegames.com/ And here are the bundle sites that I know of: http://www.humblebundle.com/ ($1 minimum for the main set of games, pay more than average purchase for the rest of the games) http://www.indiegala.com/ ($1 minimum for the main set of games, pay more than average purchase for the rest of the games) - I bought their current bundle because of the Worms games! http://www.indieroyale.com/ (minimum purchase listed) http://groupees.com/ (currently no sale, but check out their previous ones: http://groupees.com/archive) Many of these bundles were really good when they first started.. pretty much everything was $1 for 8 games. Now that they've been doing these for a year+ now there are minimum purchase prices and some less desirable bundles of lower quality games. Have any of you purchased any bundles from these sites before? And also, if you know of any more bundle sites, please share the link.

http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/25/bittman-is-alzheimers-type-3-diabetes/?smid=tw-nytimes Click the link for the rest of the article. To think that alzheimers could be a form of diabetes.. thats huge. I think I'm going to start watching what foods I eat a bit more. And considering that the CDC is estimating that 1 in 3 US Adults will have diabetes by 2050... this is going to be a huge problem. http://www.cdc.gov/media/pressrel/2010/r101022.html

http://www.npr.org/2012/09/26/161817096/mammalian-surprise-african-mouse-can-regrow-skin Holy crap.. the mice can discard their skin and regrow it. You'd think it'd be a bloody mess or something.. eww.. Imagine the possibilities if they can figure out what genetics allow the mice to do this and then apply it to humans. Burn victims could regrow their own skin, including hair and cartilage. It could probably regrow noses and ears.. I would think it could even be a way to regrow hair on balding people.
