Thanks everybody! I got the day off so I'm relaxing. Playing some Prince of Persia and God of War 3 today. Going to grill some steaks later and enjoy the day. Very good. thanks again!

Merry Christmas/holidays/gift day everyone! I got Mass Effect 1 & 2 from eppy, a godzilla figurine/ornament from my mom, god of war 3, Prince of Persia forgotten sands, random monies. I'm really just glad I have the day off to spend with my chu.

Ah, no kidding. Then that would suck ass for everyone that has incompatible saves. You would think a company would make a save game conversion feature so you can transfer your progress from one platform to another or in between consoles for the same games.

I haven't used origin that much, but considering its run by EA they've been doing more exclusives and will probably switch all EA products to it eventually I think. *shrug* btw, I haven't played any of the mass effect games. Is there some restriction that they need to be installed under the same client or something? Because (as far as i know) everything i've installed with steam can be run independently from the steam client. The only reason I use the steam client all the time and launch the game from it is because it can keep track of my total playing time, all my steam achievements and it lists all my games so I don't have to keep a bunch of shortcuts all over my desktop. Oh, and I don't own a single game thru origin except for a plants vs zombies demo. So I can't really compare the two clients.

This trailer looks really good in terms of action.. although I don't understand why they chose to use a Marilyn Manson song in the trailer.

Looks like it'll be interesting. I'd like to have seen more Bane action in the trailer tho. He doesn't look big enough.

Steam is having a huge holiday sale. Anyone jumping at the savings? if so, what games are you going to buy? As for me, I already have enough games to play, so I'll probably pass on the sales.. Some of those publisher bundles look pretty good! $700 in games for $60 or so? Not bad. The one game that I've been eyeing is Portal 2. And you can't beat the price of $7.49. But I'll hold off on getting it for now. I have so many good games to play already.

Actually, your steam username is your real name too. which reminds me, i need to update my psn friends list.
