yeah, i'm kinda burnt out on vb and software crap. so time consuming. now about those ribs... hmmm.... maybe I can layer a few strips of mostly cooked bacon across the mostly done ribs, and then cement them to the rack with a slathering of sauce that will caramelize onto the ribs... then when I cut the ribs apart, each rib will have a couple small squarish pieces of bacon under the sauce.. the extra grease could add to the juiciness of the ribs. I think I'll try this next time. I do have another food blog to post. I made a juicy lucy burger, which is a grilled burger that is stuffed with cheese. It tastes alot better than it sounds. Theres an upgrade to the current version of vb 3 that we are currently using. It has a couple bug fixes and a security fix that we'll probably upgrade to later today. Nothing at all like vb 4 and nobody will even see a difference. Its just all backend stuff to make what we have run a little more efficiently. Also, since we've decided to put vb4 work off for the foreseeable future, I'm going to try the vb4/vb3 compatible chat box upgrade so it'll finally work correctly like it was for vb4. I'll also fix my current youtube code and probably make a new hulu and dailymotion one as I don't think the media embedding mod we used is fixed, or will work correctly anytime soon.

Ichigo is so damn powerful, Aizen has to go through another transformation... and Ichigo will still own him. What Ichigo kill him, but after Aizen experiences his attack, the hygonku (sp?) will evolve him again... but because Ichigo is so powerful the next evolutionary leap for Aizen will be a being of pure energy and enlightenment... then Aizen disappears because he has become one with the universe and has nothing more to gain from anyone.

Upgrading to a completely different software would probably be less work than attempting to upgrade to vb4 again in its present state. Yay is right. I was going to put this theme right up, but I didn't even get a chance with all the damn issues vb kept throwing at me. At least I'm not getting any more database error emails from vb4 from how it didn't upgrade our attachments correctly or has the wrong db table coded into the software for albums.

I thought vb4 had some potential on my test site, but I wasn't using it full time... after upgrading the main forums and we were all really using it, I came across probably 40 different bugs. There were even 4 bugs in the admin control panel associated with incorrect url handling because it was in a subdomain. wtf. And the damn forum ran slow as shit. The load times were ridiculous. My themes didn't import 100% correctly from the test forum, and when I went in to fix some things, the css acted differently because i changed a css caching option. Why would caching or not caching the css files affect the actual output of the exact same code!? And one of dumbest design issues was the new posts, new blogs, new articles, comments, etc... The display of them wasn't the issue, the issue is that each of those blocks or widgets used the damn internal vb search engine to pull the results. So the forum is running constant searches with a piece of shit search system. I couldn't see most of these issues because I had nobody else posting in the test site... but after letting it run for what, a day and a half? two days? vb4 has seriously disappointed me. And the worse part is, that was vb 4.0.6. Imagine what vb 4.0.0 was like? And vb4 has been out for almost 8 months now. I'm just glad I took the extra time to make 3 backups of our current message board before doing any upgrading. The backups took me about 4 hours that day because I did so many backups. And I also learned that day that fireftp won't download a file larger than 4 gb. wtf. I had to download two backups through the browser and thats much slower. lol. I also took about a 2 hour break in that upgrade to cook some ribs on the grill. X'D

Well, there ended up being some unresolvable issues with the current version of vb... so we rolled it back. Unless vb can fix some issues in their software we will most likely be looking into another forum solution in the future.

This is taking forever. I'm about 80% done now. The database copy and upgrade went smoothly with only minor hiccups. The new themes/styles imported perfectly. I'm finishing up settings and installing mods, then I'll be done. The arcade is being a bit of a pain in the ass tho. It works, but I'm having styling issues with it that are taking a while to resolve.

I'm still finishing up the vash theme. It may or may not be ready for the initial upgrade. The upgrade will either begin tonight or tomorrow morning. When the database is copied, I will post an update about it and throw a huge announcement/notice on every page.

Franky is going to upgrade the crap out of himself... but Robin's revolutionary army connections should lead to some interesting encounters or new allies in the new world for the straw hat crew. Same with Sanji's training with the new kamas. Sounds like the new kamas are probably one of the elite forces of the revolutionary army, considering Iva seemed to be a very very high up subordinate to Dragon.
