Lol. My comment summarized the entire movie in 2 sentences. Overall it was good movie, but no real rewatch value to me. In the end I don't see how anyone could consider this the survival of the human race when the end result is something so completely alien that the society this species would create would be absolutely nothing similar to humanity as it is now. They also never covered reproduction.. it wasn't just some pills and shots, they had numerous surgeries. I'm guessing the end result would be the titan species being able to reproduce, but I don't recall them ever stating that. I also find it odd that they have the resources to send people to titan but not the resources to go harvest asteroids or other planets for materials and resources to try and keep earth sustainable.

Godzilla anime coming to Netflix

I finally got around to watching this last night. It was decent. The main character has no personality tho. Its like hes there just to push his plot line of how to kill godzilla and thats its. Most of the characters are very bland with no personal goals, etc. Sure they all live on a spaceship, but everyone is basically cookie cutter characters. Aside from them all having unique hairstyles they could have all come off an assembly line. lol. The ending was good and I'm looking forward to part 2. -
When compared to the expanded universe of the novels this movie was garbage. Luke in the novels was amazing. Mara Jade was amazing. I would have loved to have seen a Thrawn trilogy movie over what we're getting now. I read all about the emperor's hand, but I never read the novels regarding Ben Skywalker or the Palpatine clones.

I was contemplating buying a VPN service. I use a free version now, but with how things end up going, I might want to VPN just about everything I do except for my online gaming.

I had an odd dream last night. I was walking up this grassy knoll when I realized it suddenly became much steeper. I started climbing it with urgency. I felt like my life was in danger, then I heard shots ringing out and clumps of dirt flying. I got near the top and realized storm troopers were shooting at people behind me in the distance. I grabbed their legs and started to pull them over the ledge where they fell down to their deaths. I woke up and realized I shouldn't play a star wars game and then read a half chapter of lord of the rings before I go to sleep.

I beat the campaign over the weekend. It was decent but a bit too much flying for me. I'd say about 40-50% of the campaign is space combat. At least I got decent at it after a while. The campaign is broken down into 2 parts. The first part takes place right after the second death star explodes and it took me 6ish hours to beat or a bit longer if you explore a bunch like I did. The second part after a time skip and it takes place during the force awakens and acts a bit like a prequel to last jedi in a way. The plot was ok, but I would have preferred to actually play a game completely on the empire's side and perspective. Even though this game starts out like that, in a short while it quickly becomes a rebel dominated game with a bunch of x-wings and killing storm troopers. I do recommend watching a playthrough to anyone that has the time and doesn't want to buy it. The multiplayer is ok. Now that I've gotten more games into it I'm getting the feeling that I'm being outclassed by players with more advanced unlocked cards. Most of the player base looks like people that have been playing since launch or have played alot. My level 1 cards are pretty week in comparison. I can still get some great kills and map knowledge would make a world of difference for me I'm sure, but I'm not getting the hang of how to accumulate battle points fast. Some games I've seen heroes spawn in within the first 3-4 minutes of gameplay. Meanwhile it'll take me most of match to get enough points to spawn a hero and by then almost no heroes are available because they're already in play. I mostly spawn in with enforcers now and they are quite fun. I'm not sure how much time I'll put into the multiplayer, I'm feeling the itch to play more single player campaigns at this point. I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth out of this at least compared to the first battlefront. lol. That first battlefront was horrendous in comparison.

Mad Max looks good. I'll definitely try it out. Although I wish I could have the option to play as Furiousa.

I ordered a new router, its an AC1900. It should be coming in the mail today. It'll be a big upgrade over the crappy very low end belkin router I've been using for 2 years. Maybe that steam link I bought over a year ago will actually work wirelessly now. That thing is a nice concept but ended up being pointless for me unless it has a wired connection. Instead I stream all my games to my laptop which works alot better. Maybe this router will improve that connection and fix some of the blockiness I get, especially while streaming netflix at the same time.

Lmao. That ps4 issue pissed me off so much.
I hooked up the router last night and everything seems to be working great. I'll test out my ps4 multiplayer this weekend. My steam streaming to my laptop even looks crisper. Like with gw2, as long as I'm not near a zerg of ppl the game now looks like it's running directly on my laptop with max settings even tho it's streaming from my pc. If I'm near a zerg it starts to pixelate a bit around the edges of what should be sharp lines.

I'm so looking forward to this. I'm glad Netflix has season 2. I'll have to do some rewatching. Netflix should watch it themselves so they can learn what good fight choreography looks like. Iron fist was supposed to be bad ass like this and even the extras in this show could kick his ass.

Jessica Jones season 2 is decent so far. I only have a few episodes left but I don't see how the show will ever be better than season 1 simply because of David Tennant's performance as Killgrave. He was Dr. Who for years and it's amazing to see him be somebody so evil and cruel as that character and nail it like he's always played evil bastards.

I finished the season. It was good but season 1 was still the best. If they make a season 3 I hope focus on some major enemy for her to fight. This season seemed a bit slow at parts and felt a bit to much like any origin story for a character that has already been established.

I thought flying in battlefront 2 would have battlefield 1 controls and it was way different. I'm battlefront 2 it's basically all right analog stick for flying and the left analog is only really used for acceleration and deceleration. And there is no control setting to change the speed controls to trigger buttons. And there is a default setting to auto adjust the ships orientation to the horizon. Its extremely different and I guess it's supposed to simplify flying but man I'm horrible at it.

The new progression system is much much better. They removed all star cards from rng crates. Now crates will only contain cosmetic items. All heroes are unlocked by default. Each class, every hero and every ship has it's own progression system similar to how Battlefield 4's progression was. Play a class, level it up and that class gets a skill point. Use that skill point to unlock a low level star card. Play more and get higher levels to unlock higher level star cards, upgrade them, etc. All of which is class specific. Different weapons are unlocked in a similar fashion to BF4's assignments. Get x amount of kills with a specific gun to unlock another gun, etc. There is weekly timed events to unlock skins in game. This weekend is an event to unlock a Leia hoth skin. Its a pretty basic assignment for it too.. play 5 rounds of 3 different game modes each. So far I'm enjoying this game. I still haven't beaten the campaign and I've already been playing it for more than 5 hours (not counting my afk time, lol). The battle missions seem decent for offline game play. I'm still fresh in the multiplayer tho so I'm not sure how good the balance is just yet. But I can say I absolutely suck at flying. I played 7 matches of starfighter assault and I am horrible at this. This is one of those game modes that I would actually be much better with a mouse and keyboard.

Reminds me of that old outer limits episode were everyone on the planet has to go thru a physical change to survive the intense radiation after the sun went thru a shift. I'm wondering if the trailer is purposefully hiding a larger plot line or if the entire movie is just him going thru the change and then going monster at the end.

I'm so glad Carl is dead. now I don't have to see that horrible hair anymore. it was such an emotional scene and I feel horrible for Michonne, but when I heard that gun shot I was happy. I'm a horrible person. Rick vs Negan in this last episode was pretty good. I'm surprised Maggie didn't warn that new woman about the saviors. -
I do want to see this movie but I'm not interested enough to see it in the theaters. Mostly because of two things. I love the new tomb raider games but that timed exclusivity bull shit for rise of the tomb raider being on Xbox for a solid year before ps4 resulted in me waiting a year to play the game and a year of my interest in it being destroyed. Just like i waited to play the game i can wait a year to watch this movie on cable at this point. The second issue for me is that Alicia Vikander doesn't physically look like Lara Croft from the new games. I didn't care for Angelina Jolie in the original tomb raider movies but when I look at pictures comparing her lara croft to the new one, Angelina's looks like she could kick her ass easily.

I lucked out and saw it right before it went down. I like what i saw. Crafting armor and weapon upgrades looked really nice. Reminded me of tomb raiders crafting setup at camps.

And another 6-12 inches minimum of snow happening today through tomorrow morning. wtf. I haven't had time to game or watch any youtube videos. Its work, play with the dogs, do random stuff that needs to be done, shovel, go to bed, repeat.

I've been rewatching Star Wars Clone Wars on netflix with Lady so she can see it before Disney eventually pulls all their products off netflix. I figure its only a matter of time before Disney launches their own streaming service and netflix probably loses 1/4 of their content.

I thought they were going to use Hulu as their platform since they own it. But after looking it up, it seems they'll leave Hulu for the more mature content of 21st Century Fox. It will be curious what will happen with all the Netflix original series deals with the mid tier marvel characters.

From what I read a while back I think Netflix will be retaining those series. Although I doubt Marvel would let any of their characters get locked down with another company again. Whatever streaming service Disney makes it'll highly compete with netflix considering the massive amount of content it'll have by default that will never have to leave because of a license expiring. Every fox, disney, marvel, abc, etc. properties. It'll be massive and probably have as much if not more content than netflix on day one of it's launch. In hindsight it makes sense now why netflix has been so aggressively making it's own branded content. Every network has it's own streaming service now. I miss the old days of netflix having everything. I'd love to rewatch Chuck, Farscape, Psych and a bunch of other series that all used to be on netflix. As it is now Netflix hasn't had any of those shows in almost a year.

Maybe its just me but that logo looks alot like the autobots logo from transformers. Its all I can think of when I see that outline.

Now that sounds way better. I'm really burned out on the desert. I didn't have the chance yesterday to get started on the new episode, I should have the time later today.
