So yeah, this will be more of a rant than an actual update but its relevant because its about the core software that runs our community. [ame=http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=313353]vBulletin 4.0 Development Update - vBulletin Community Forum[/ame] vBulletin's initial plans were to release vb 4 in beta testing by the end of the second quarter of this year, which would have been the end of July. That hasn't happened. Everyone in the vb community has been wondering about the progress vb 4 has been taking and finally they have given us an update. 4-5 weeks for alpha testing. If we are lucky we'll get to upgrade AC to vb 4 beta 2 by the end of august or early september. Unfortunately, even then they may not release it in beta version to the community because they may try screwing us all by forcing us to pay for an upgrade for the first time. If vb would release more info on what their plans are and set some actual release dates or prices for their highly anticipated upgrades and add-on products they'd set alot of minds at ease. Unfortunately, they are only making people resent purchasing their product to begin with.

Thats what I'm worried about. And did you notice that Aizen wasn't the least bit worried? He knows his power far exceeds even the vizards. Hes going to bust out astro lorde espada or even something more powerful than espada class altogether because Aizen already knows about the elite royal guard is obviously powerful enough to think him and his trump cards can take out everyone and kill the king. So I'm sure he has some real super power guys on his side or maybe Aizen himself will bust out his own vizard powers and own everyone, but save his bankai 3 & 4 abilities for the more serious fights.

Hajime no Ippo New Challenger
Sledgstone replied to Ladywriter's topic in Anime / Animation / Manga / Comics
The Kimura vs. Mashiba fight focused alot on Kimura and Mashiba obviously, but there was alot of emotion and training involved. It really made you feel for the characters so much. This ova made Kimura a much more solid character for me. And champion road was a good title match for Ippo. You should watch it if only for the fact that that fight gets referenced to in either season 2 or the upcoming season 3. It really focuses alot on Ippo and if you've been wanting to see more Ippo, watch this one. -
Yeah, but still all the espada and everyone else watch as the gillians are attacked. You'd think it would all be a battle royal. But the majority of the characters all sit around watching everyone else and having dialogue like its a turned based battle system/rpg.

You haven't seen Champions Road? Then you're missing a huge Ippo chunk. That movie was good and takes place right after the first season and before Season 2. Same with that ova that was never released on dvd, "Kimura_vs._Mashiba" That ova was epic. Btw, there has never been any filler in any episode of Ippo so far and seeing as the manga is 800+ chapters, they could probably make at least another 10 seasons with no filler. -
Aside from Spider-man 3, I wouldn't mind seeing Sam Raimi direct a new Superman.

lmao. Thats awesome. X'D:tup:

He owned that guy in the fight right before Takamura's world title match. But I know what you mean, I want to see more Ippo action too. -
rotflmao. No wonder they charge you $40. They actually serve you alcohol while having your head massaged!? I've never heard of something like that before. rotflmao. X'D

Don't worry, next season will focus much more on Ippo. -
That is weird. You'd think if it could load the forums, a thread wouldn't be much different.

http://dvice.com/archives/2009/07/microsoft-to-ma.php Interesting. Knowing microsoft and google, I bet these online word processors probably scan everything you type for ad relevance or sell to third parties for research analysis.

So, the prices are about the same everywhere. I got fed up with bad haircuts, so I went out and bought a hair clippers kit that comes with 25(?) pieces/accessories. My hair cut is extremely simple and I'm going to have lady cut it for me. Even if she screws it up, it couldn't be much worse than the other people who have screwed up my hair, but at least I won't be out $15 for every haircut anymore.

Have you seen the Space Station floating in the sky yet?

I forgot to post in this topic! On the fourth of July, we went outside from 12:30 am to 1:00 am and I didn't see a damn thing. \ Maybe it was lower than I thought it would be and it was hidden in our tree line... I was pissed off. -

Nope, not a single bit of filler. The manga is so huge, this season 2 was the Takamura world title arc. I've read a bit further in the manga than where season 2 left off and it picks back up with Ippo defending his title against another challenger, then there is some Miaka stuff, Aoko has a fight, etc. It was pretty good, but I couldn't keep reading the manga. I figure it would take me most afternoons for the next 3 years to catch up. 800+ chapters. x_x -
That was a good article on the superman copyright, thanks for posting that. I have a feeling they won't settle for a lump sum payout, but instead insist on getting recurring lump sum payments in relation to whatever or whenever DC or WB is making money off of superman. If I was them, thats what I'd go for. Because honestly, Superman is a huge character, a lump sum payment now would probably be meager peanuts compared to 1 or 2 more generations from now when their grand kids or great grand kids could still be receiving continuous payments like huge never ending lotto winnings. Does Stan Lee have his own copyright reversal claim like the superman creators have? That would screw over marvel something huge if they no longer had stan lee's characters.

Yes, but doesn't most blackberrys or newer models load regular webpages with no problem? *shrug*

Wow. Ace's dad is Gold Roger, he is older than Luffy which means when Ace's mom died giving birth to him, he has a different mom than Luffy... Which means Luffy and Ace aren't biologically related at all... unless they are cousins or something. Garp is the marine that took down Gold Roger. But now we know that Roger was dying of a disease and turned himself in to the marines.. So, either he was related to Garp, or part of his deal for turning himself in was to make Garp take care of his son.. But I don't see that as a likely scenario. I think Garp is related to Roger. All of them have the D. middle initial too. And here we were all thinking Dragon was going to show up.. but Dragon isn't Ace's dad.. Maybe Dragon is Ace's Uncle? Maybe Dragon owes Roger a favor and is going to save Ace in his place? Regardless tho, The 5 shikibukai are there and the three admirals are all right there in front of Ace. Holy shit that is some power. Good news tho is that Hancock could probably take out pretty much everyone under admiral class in the wink of an eye.

Yes! I hope the costume actually looks right. Imagine Green Lantern in an all black leather outfit.

I used to go to a place that only charged $5 for a man's haircut... I only trusted a couple people there to cut my hair and the guy that always cut it for me moved to a different shop and the other person never has time... So now I've been to a super cuts and a local barber shop full of old italian men. Both places charge $15 a haircut and neither do a good job. So how much do you pay and is it worth the price?
