Hmmm... I'll have to look back at those chapters and check it out again.. If I can remember which chapter it was in. x_x

ah damn! I completely forgot about that venus fly trap guy. X'D Yeah, Itachi did do something to Naruto, probably passed on some power to him that we will only see when he goes to fight Sasuke. And the other plot twist about Naruto only having half the kuybi chakra in him... who has the other half? and will this person show up? or... is it Madara that has the other half of the kuybi chakra and hes using it as a source for all his power? And now that Kakashi is alive again, Madara being Obito could still be a good plot twist.

I know! Thats the other thing that annoys me. Its like they don't take armor or shields into account for defence, just whether or not their armor or shields have spikes on them and can kill as a secondary advantage.

That would be awesome... but that almost seems to predictable. Watch her bankai be something stupid like she turns into a "non-aging gelatenous blob with life powers" and it turns out that she is the perfect opponent to fight the person with the exact opposite powers of her.

Seriously! I thought that right after the bumblebee fight, those ninjas from that village were going to go to konoha themselves... But they've taken such a long time to get there, that Sasuke and everyone has already healed and are headed there themselves!? wtf? And aside from Team Hawk, the only bad guys left in the series is Madara and the long forgotten Kisame? After a confrontation with Sasuke at Konoha, Madara will show up and the end of the series will take place... and Kisame will be completely forgotten about by the mangaka.

Soi Fon bankai actually sounds interesting. I wonder what it will be like... btw, didn't it look like that halibel girl was in a water bubble or something and not dieing from ice flowers? I bet that fight isn't over yet.

I didn't read Naruto for almost 3 weeks because things kept screwing up my schedule. So I just read up to the latest chapter... WTF!? He fucking revived everyone? First I was pissed because they killed off Kakashi, but now that they brought him and everyone else back I feel even more pissed at this manga for bullshitting the characters along with this shit plot. Naruto should just end now. x_x And why have Sasuke show up immediately after the Pain fight? Shouldn't Sasuke and his team still be healing after their 8 tails fight, seeing as Pain was heading to get Naruto while Sasuke was going after that Bumblebee guy? The timing doesn't sound right at all. Seriously! 1 conversation and all is well. wtf.

http://www.spike.com/show/31082 I've been watching the hell out of this show for the past month. Its pretty damn entertaining. They pick two different classes of warriors or groups, pick 5 main weapons for each side and compare their killing potential. Then in the end, they run a bunch of simulations in a computer and show the end battle of who wins. If you haven't watched the show before, give it a try. Its probably the best show I've seen on spike tv in a long time. Theres going to be a marathon of it this sunday followed by a new episode. Usually the episodes are on tuesday nights tho. My only gripe with the show is that I don't think they give enough credit to a non-lethal weapon. Some weapons are designed to disarm, immobilize or stun an enemy, etc. But to me it seems like they don't care for a non-lethal weapon's ability to increase the deadliness of the accompanying weapons. I loved the William Wallace episode, that claymore would decapitate at least three people in a single swing. Damn! X'D

Yu Yu hakusho = DBZ + Bleach
Sledgstone replied to Kite's topic in Anime / Animation / Manga / Comics
I loved Yu Yu Hakusho. We were going to make a site for it and everything, but we never got time to make it. The demon world tournament finishes the series, but I preferred the Dark Tournament more. -
Looks like Yuna last jumped on sometime last month. Maybe she'll check this topic out if she gets pm'ed?

Yeah, I wish they'd make a season 2. The anime really grew on me. I hate that they cut Simca's hair. Her looks went from awesome to pure shit.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first avengers movie ends up being the avengers vs an out of control Hulk.

They're doing a Thor movie, because Thor will be in the avengers movie they're releasing in 2011. (I think its 2011 now.)

You have some good points. Thinking of Char achieving his goals in that way puts his motives more in perspective for me, thanks. I like a good war story, but for me Zeta seemed to push it too much onto the viewer. In most cases, I'd rather watch how a battle or scenario plays itself out and based on the reaction of the characters you can see how it affects them and changes them throughout the series or movie, but like with Camille, its like they kept trying to show you every single emotional moment and thing he was thinking or saying. I really wish they didn't make Char a loli guy. He is such a serious and major character and the things he does throughout every series hes in have a profound ripple effect throughout the plot.. but because of his loli fascination it takes too much away from his character, and for me, it makes me not want to take the guy serious, which is a horrible character flaw. I really liked the political and ideological conversations and plotlines that went with GW. I don't think that would have worked so much in Zeta. Just like a serious portrayal of war wouldn't go all too well with the bishies of GW. They achieved some with GW, but not nearly to the point that Zeta took it to. Getting the best of both worlds is a rarity. Its why I loved the Battlestar Galactica series so much. Best live action series ever made.

Some of those are pretty funny, but most are just disturbing. I liked that second video tho, he went from a sugar addiction to a video game addiction. The flaming barrel and hammer was awesome. X'D

Camille annoyed the hell out of me. I wish the series featured Amuro Ray as the main character, but when they finally showed Amuro, it sucked. Zeta definitely had its moments and some good battles and mecha in it, but the overall plot didn't appeal to me in comparison to other series. It would have probably left a better impression to me if I watched 0079 or other preceding series first, but I can't watch 3 or more other series just to properly enjoy an overall timeline of series. Also, after a while, all the constant sorties in Zeta just seemed like I was watching something on a repetitive loop. I honestly liked the plot of Gundam Wing better. The destruction of overpowering gundams appealed to me more than watching constant scirmishes that almost never resolved anything except for prolonging the series by making them detore from point a to point b, or forcing them to get repairs at this place or that place. Zeta felt long and played out. I'm glad I watched the original gundam series in movie form because I don't see how they could have stretched out those 3 movies into a 40+ episode series. If anything, I wish they'd re-edit and release all the gundam series into movie form. Everything in the timeline would probably flow so smoothly then. btw, I'm not trying to start a debate or anything, I'm just stating a couple of my opinions. And yes, I know all the arguements against Wing, sure, Zech Marquies is a char clone, asteroid drops have been done before, etc. But every gundam series is just a rehash of the same plots and characters. "end all wars, with a war to end all war", "drop an asteroid on the planet", "destroy the colonies", "newtypes", "coordinators", "mask guy with plotline", "some random person jumps in mecha, becomes major character and almost instantly owns people, yet struggles with his decisions or doesn't want to kill people but is forced to". I liked the plot and characters of wing over zeta. eh, maybe I'm just the odd guy out. I still like Zeta a hell of a lot better than Evangelion tho. That show was shit compared to Zeta. btw, I watched Char's counterattack because it takes place after Zeta, and he flipped to a whole other agenda, plot etc. Char isn't consistent. If anything, it makes sense to me that the gundam franchise broke away from a constant timeline of series. I'd rather see new characters with different ideologies and plotlines as opposed to completely changing a character's opinions or views just to make them fit into yet another chapter of an ongoing story. Considering how easily they dropped Amuro's role in Zeta gundam, they should have done the same with Char and just brought in more major characters instead of just throwing yet another mask on him and changing his name, goals, etc. again. I guess thats what they did for ZZ tho. Also, alot of the older gundam series seems to be full of loli lovers too, like Char. I don't care for lolis, if there is a secondary love story going on, make it with an actual woman. Can anyone recommend another gundam series that takes place in the UC timeline that I might like? \ Also, theres a new series based on the UC timeline coming out? Any idea if Char or anyone else is in it again? If its not completely new characters I think I'll pass on it.

I watched Zeta, I'll never watch it again. For me, Gundam Wing was a superior anime. Gundam 00 is pretty damn good to, I still need to finish watching the second season tho. And after watching the original gundam series movie trilogy, (which was damn good, Amuro was awesome), Seed was like a failed attempt at a relaunch of the entire franchise.
