You do have a point there. Technically speaking, Naruto is a large uncontrollable threat in regards to his kuybi powers. But heres something else to think of. When Akatsuki remove a tailed beast from it's jinchiruki, it kills the jinchiruki. But if you kill the jinchiruki, could it not just as well release the tailed beast? They hint at the fact that if Naruto dies, the nine tails will die with him, thus the nine tails lets him use his power. But I think that if Naruto or any of the tailed beasts were to out right get killed, the tailed beast and/or its energy would break free either into a nuke blast or a raging beast. Maybe Kakashi knew this and tried to contain Naruto at all costs as opposed to letting him explode into an unstoppable power. *coughbrucebannerhulkcough* I bet Kakashi would kill Naruto if he absolutly had to.

Maybe Kakashi knew that regardless of what may happen in Naruto's life, he'll be ok because he has that way of making friends and overcoming all odds. But maybe Kakashi also figured that if he spent more time with Sasuke he could save Sasuke from his lonliness and despair by being more of a role model for him.

Thirteen was also a sinister number in Norse mythology. I remember in the book Eaters of the Dead (movie: The 13th Warrior), they formed a team of 12 warriors +1. Whenever the number 13 was involved, they would chop the reference to the numbers up. Friday the 13th doesn't bother me tho. Yesterday went off without a hitch... except for the fact I got jury duty.
