  1. I remember all the commercials for "Lady in the Water" they made it look like it was a horror movie. Nope, it was a nice family movie.. but in the end I was mislead. I told myself after watching that one, I'd pass on all his movies from then on until I read a bunch of reviews. Sixth Sense was great tho.. its a shame he hasn't made another good one like that since.
  2. *old days memory bubble pops*
  3. Mangashare usually has all the latest weekly releases done by friday morning. I usually read binktopia's releases but sometimes they are slower releasing one piece. Basement Scans or Franky-House are usually the first ones releasing. The BS releases are on mangashare, but the FH releases are only on their own website. But for some reason FH has not released One Piece in almost a month now. Pretty odd because usually they were the first to release the newest chapters. http://www.mangashare.com/ http://www.franky-house.com/
  4. Cool. Cooking on a pan can be pretty messy with 80/20 or 70/30 hamburger meat tho. All the fat pools up in the pan while the burger is cooking and it'll heat up and splatter like a bastard. If you cook it on a pan, go with 90/10 or ground steak meat.
  5. Nice ride. I wonder how much the vehicle actually weighs. Aside from being aerodynamic, its probably made almost completely out of fiberglass. We can get 40-50 mph wind gusts on parts of I480 here. I wonder if a cross wind of that speed would lift the thing up and fling it? And it would have to have a real good suspension, the roads around here suck ass and theres plenty of gravel roads too.
  6. Onion Steak Burgers - Mmmm... you should try cooking some of these.
  7. Instructions to make: Onion Steak Burgers Ingredients: - Package of ground beef round tip roast (you could substitute 90/10 or 80/20 hamburger if you want) - 2 to 3 lbs - 1 packet of onion soup mix - A splash of worcester sauce - Cheese (I prefer extra sharp cheddar or maybe colby jack) Instructions: 1) Gather your ingredients. 2) Hand mash the meat with the onion soup mix until thoroughly mixed. 3) Splash some worchester sauce onto the mix and mash that in as well. You don't need worchester sauce, but the meat I'm using is less fatty than the usual 80/20, so I want some more liquid in the mix to offset the dry onion soup mix. If you are using 90/10 or 80/20 go ahead and skip this if you want, but I'd leave it in for flavor. Just make your burgers slightly thicker in the end so the meat doesn't fall apart when you go to cook it. 4) Use a small plat to make to make your hamburger patties with. Using a small plate instead of just your hands makes a more even patty and you can round the edges easier. 5) Plate of finished patties. These are pretty thick burgers. When hamburgers cook, they loose alot of fat and thus the finished hamburgers are much thinner than the initial patties. But I'm using steak meat so these bad boys won't loose much size. hmmm.. 6) If cooking on the grill, get your grill nice and hot first, then put your burgers on for a good initial searing to get those grill marks. Turn the grill down to low and close it up. Let them cook about 6-7 minutes on each side. If you are pan frying, Cook 1 or 2 of these at a time, because you'll probably only fit 1 or 2 of these on a pan. Cook about the same amount of time. You could also use a george forman grill, but burgers taste best when they are cooked on the grill. 7) After 6 minutes my burgers look like this, and that means its time to flip: 8) Look at those grill marks. mmmm. 9) Cut some cheese for you burgers, I'm using colby jack today. 10) Give your troublesome cat some cheese so he'll leave you alone. 11) You'll know when your burgers are done and safe to eat when you stick a thermometer in one and its at 170-180 degrees. 12) Put the cheese on your burgers, close that lid and turn the grill up to full heat for about 1 minute to melt your cheese. 13) Finished burgers! Enjoy!

  11. NES SNES Atari (I can't remember what Atari, all I remember is playing dig dug, pit fall and some other games in my room about 20 years ago. It might not have even been an atari for all I know. X'D) Sega Genesis (my brother had this one) Gameboy Brick Gameboy Color Playstation Playstation 2 N64 Gamecube Multiple PCs throughout the years
  12. How much do you spend on gas in a month, now that the prices have gone up so damn much? With the current prices we're spending close to $300 a month on gas. x_x
  13. Duke Nukem was good way back in the day. But in the end all his whitty comments were all ripped off the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness movies. Duke Nukem should look like Bruce Campbell.
  14. We have a bunch of cute birds that come to our bird feeder all the time, like cardinals, blue jays and wrens. And we like to throw our old bread out on the yard for them. But yesterday, just one hour after I threw that bread outside, I looked out there to see what birds were coming out to feed. Sometimes we get these big crows that I have Precious chase off. But yesterday? No, not crows. Turkeys. Two big ass wild turkeys were eating the shit out of that bread. Each of them easily stood 3 - 4 feet tall. We would have got the camera but they were close enough to the forest drop off point to the left of the yard I'd figure they'd be gone before we could get a pic. Hehe, Precious was freaking out inside the house because we kept looking out the window and talking. So lady went out with her so Precious could chase the turkeys and who would have thought.. One of the turkeys flew away instead of disappearing into the forest. And sure as hell, lady has now witnessed a flying turkey too. X'D And holy shit they can fly good. This turkey took off towards the garden and flew up and up and up... It cleared our tree line and kept going. That turkey cleared at least 150-200 foot trees! Next time we get turkey in the yard, I'm going to run for the camera because wild turkey are down right freakish looking when they run and fly. X'D Also, about a 1/2 hour to an hour after that I looked out the window and a friggin deer was eating the rest of the bread. Lady got some pics and a video of that one tho. I'll have to post it later.
  15. Ah! btw, I thought it was a translation thing a couple chapters back. I thought "Dark Prince" was translated wrong and he was the "Dark Emperor" he may not be an emperor at all, but Garp still referred to Reyleigh and Whitebeard as legends. I wonder how many more badasses are out there besides the shikubukai and the emperors.
  16. I love that Battlestar Galactica / One Piece opening. X'D Like you said before, you should say at the end: "Previously, on One Piece..."
  17. This summer is sucking so far. It came late, and now its either 90+ degree days or rain. Why can't we have something in the middle. Maybe a slight overcast day with no rain in the 70s? hah. When that happens, it'll be a day I'm working I'm sure. gah.
  18. Nothing changes for me during the summer. \ I miss the old days of summer break.
  19. Watch the old Xena, Hercules and X-Files series if you haven't already. All three were great.
  20. Thats a damn shame, he always had great information during election times.
  21. Now that I'm thinking about it, who is left out of akatsuki? Pain and that paper woman who already knew about Madara, and Kisame.. I think thats everyone isn't it? At least it makes sense to not bullshit around and keep only kisame in the dark. Interesting that he knew who he was and all about him... In that last page of the most recent chapter: "The most important thing... was to make Sasuke mine." Yeah, they completely replaced Orochimaru with Madara, and just like that he gives out commands to Sasuke. X'D
  22. http://www.lpgautogas.com.au/index.cfm http://www.shell.com/home/content/au-en/shell_for_motorists/fuels/autogas/autogas_lessons_0821.html Australia is smart when it comes to fuel for their vehicles. My understanding is that the majority of the entire country runs autogas in their vehicles instead of regular gas. And autogas costs 50% less then regular gas, and you need to go to the pump a helluva lot less because the autogas is stored as a condensed liquid but burns in the engine as a vapor. So from what I've heard you only need to fill up your car a couple times a month. Why the fuck don't they do something like that here in the US!?
  23. http://www.climate-energy.com/ Click this link to see the 50 second info blurb about it: http://www.climate-energy.com/freewattin50.asp Basically, its a small generator you get installed into your house, right next to your furnace. It'll run off of propane or natural gas and provide electricity and heat to your house. And during the coldest months of winter your furnace will still kick on to provide the remaining heat needed for the house. Cuts costs down and uses all residual or 'wasted heat/energy' so nothing is wasted. I would love my next house to have one of these, but they're currently selling for $10,000 to $15,000 a unit. x_x Imagine being off the electric grid tho. If you live out in the boondocks, all you need is your propane tank or natural gas and you won't have to worry about electric outages.
  24. Wow, this movie was good! I was half expecting something done half assed like Blair Witch Project, but damn! This movie was actually made good with a first person perspective.
