ah! finally, this should be a good fight. I wonder what that hollow will look like once hes released his sword. I'm hoping to god that Kenpachi makes everyone shit themselves by busting out a bankai at the last minute that owns everyone. X'D He must have done some kind of improvement with his sword after his initial Ichigo fight, he must have.

Do you think he'll shave his head and put on silver face paint, or will he have a mask that he takes off repeatedly to show his face (much like topher grace in spiderman 3), or maybe.. just maybe.. this guy will stick to the character... *has extremely high hopes and will bash this movie if anything is slacking* X'D Heres a pic of the baroness to be playing opposite Destro: I don't recall ever seeing either of these two act before. *edit* heres a link for the actor playing Duke: http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/11997.html

she was built by John? I thought she was built by skynet as an espionage unit because like Kite said, it doesn't fit the standard skynet designs in the slightest. Nobody in the resistance would expect a little girl to be a terminator... until everyone's dogs started freaking out at her alerting all humans to the new robot. and wouldn't that be a bitch.. skynet designs this awesome new terminator, redesigns new robotic muscular structure, grows skin on it, takes it to a plastic surgeon, lets it heal for 6 months or so then programs all kinds of killing techniques into and then lets it loose on the rebellion... only to have some watch dog bark at it and have a resistance guy launch a bazooka shell at her and bam! toasted terminator. And in all that time skynet put into that one robot that died in five minutes, 50 new litters of dogs were born. No wonder skynet looses the battle in the future. So yes, John must have been the one who created her.. he probably figures that hes obviously going to live thru to be the saviour of humanity so he might as well have a play toy and enjoy it a bit as he grows up. X'D

I always assumed this would be a movie for all the original fans, much like the Rocky Balboa movie. I'll definitely watch this. .50 calibur or higher? holy shit. Let the bodies hit the floor. How about this weekend? ^_~

I got my hands on this movie a few weeks ago, I've been meaning to watch this.. and now that I've read this, I think I'll make time this weekend.

This is a decent enough site to start looking info up on: http://www.carlemon.com/ As long as you are purchasing a vehicle at a dealership, whether it is used or new.. and as long as that vehicle is not being sold "as is" that vehicle is covered under the lemon law of the state it was purchased in. I believe all dealerships are required to give you a copy of the lemon law in with your car contract and/or loan information. You may have to request it depending on your state. In my case, because my blazer was in a certain mileage bracket, the lemon law covered my vehicle for the first 90 days, depending on the mileage of the used car, the covered time varies. There was a list of mechanical parts that are covered under the lemon law and others that weren't. In fact, at least in NY, extended car warranties will not go into effect until 90 days after your purchase because the car is still covered under the lemon law. In my case, they sold me a 4x4 with abs with two decent tires in the front and two mismatched worn tires in the back. 4x4 and abs require all tires to be the same. Also my steering made a shit load of clunking sounds within the first week. and when I went to get an alignment done and a quick check at another mechanic he informed me my ball joints were shot and I had an oil leak. All of that took place within the first 90 days and of course not all at the same time.. so after 4 different trips of going back to the dealership and bitching and then threatening the lemon law they gave me 2 new tires, replaced my transfer case fluid (that was the cause of the clunking sound while steering), changed a gasket and replaced 3 ball joints. I figured it was roughly about $1800 in repairs all paid for by them covered under the lemon law. Of course I had to threaten calling my lawyer at one point, but I never actually had to raise my voice.. just bitched alot. And now that I'm thinking about it, I think there was at least one other thing that f*cked up on it because the damages I listed so far don't add up to the $1800 I totaled to.. yeah, it was a bunch of bs.

We just got our 800 disk capacity dvd case in the mail today: http://www.cdrdvdrmedia.com/800pcs-aluminum-cd-box-white-128.html Now we can finally throw out half of these huge shitty dvd wallet/cases that have been falling apart since we first got them. Now I wonder how long it will take us to organize and catalog our entire collection of DVD-Rs full of anime fansubs.

Damn. That sucks. I'll tell you what tho, I know I'll never buy another used 4x4 again. Previous owners destroy their fucking rides. I had to enforce the lemon law 3 different times within the first month of purchasing my used blazer. guh. Good luck with a new jeep. Make sure you test all the four wheel functionality at the place. And make them replace all your transfer case and differential fluids seeing as they are supposed to be replaced every 30,000 miles. If its a 60,000 mile jeep, all of its fluids should already have been swapped. And don't forget to get the ball joints and alignment checked. (I learned the hard way, yay for lemon law tho.) BTW, the buyback cost of my totaled saturn was only $70. But if I didn't buy it back, I would have probably gotten an extra $200 for the tires.

So much bad ass shit is going to happen soon. I still think Impel Down is either on the merman island or close enough that Luffy and the others can launch an attack on it from there. Much like Water 7 was the only connection they had into Enies Lobby. And yeah, I bet Tom will be there! Franky will re-unite with him at last! They might even get some of Tom's relatives from Merman Island to lend support for a full blown raid seeing as Tom was a merman himself.

If you had a Death Note...
Sledgstone replied to Sledgstone's topic in Anime / Animation / Manga / Comics
The poll has closed and nobody said they would discard it. Just goes to show the kind of evil power a Death Note really has.. whoever comes into possession of it will use it... even Santa: X'D -
poor mutley.

This looks awesome. If you take the shuttle out of the middle and replace it with the Tallgeese from Gundam Wing, I can totally see this as a possible space entry attachment for gundams. X'D

Very nice. I just have this feeling that they're going to remake star trek in order to give it not just a new look, but a new feel. The main popular space sci-fi series out right now are Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Atlantis. IMO, BSG should not even be mentioned in the same sentence with such a second rate production as Stargate Atlantis, but for popularity sake they both have quite large fanbases. Startrek looks to re-invent itself from the roots much like BSG did compared to the old BSG series. So to me, I'm expecting alot of Star Trek similarity to the old series and movies, but with completely different plotlines, character depth, etc. I'm hoping it won't disappoint or degrade the original series like the X-Men movies did to their original roots (at least for me). (leather outfits, rogue is some fugly kid and not a super hottie that flies, cyclops and professor X dies, phoenix plot destroyed, wtf.)

Ah, the terminator with no skin steals blood plasma crap, etc.. goes up to some scientist, gives the scientist the complicated huge formula for creating living skin and then asks the scientist if he can make it. Scientist guys says, yes.. it could be possible.. now if only I had blood units. Terminator interrupts him and says "I brought my own." and they cut to some scene were the terminator is in some bathtub full of blood and emerges looking like some seriously fucked up burn victem with all his new skin. It then kills the doctor, takes his eyes and then goes off to look for a plastic surgeon to make himself look good. The terminator had all the scientific knowledge and materials for making the living skin.. so why did he even bother talking to the scientist when he could have just killed him, used the equipment himself and then taken his eyeballs. and why would he need a plastic surgeon? making human looking terminators requires plastic surgery? you would think that living skin formula crap would create a layer of skin to grow on the predefined skelatal/robotic musculature of the robot's body and be done. I envision skynet setting up a factory for mass producing skinned terminators right off an assembly line. but instead each one needs a plastic surgeon and what healing time? That female terminator has already shown remarkable healing time for her own skin with absolutely no scars. if thats the case, wouldn't the male terminators plastic surgury result in the living skin growing back to it's original burned victim state? I've watched the first 4 eps now and I'm going to pass on this. I don't have time anymore to watch something thats made half assed.

Lay off the whiskey for a while. *does 3 shots of crown royale in front of you* ah, feels so good not having to work tomorrow.

Finally! That felt like the best chapter of Naruto in a long time. I've been thinking about that too. Itachi never said what that other sharingan technique Madara discovered.. and what all the sacrifices were for. Maybe its a possession technique kind of like Orochimaru's. *shrugs* Because I just don't see how having more powerful eyes can prevent your body from aging or dieing.

english vs japanese dubbing
Sledgstone replied to Kite's topic in Anime / Animation / Manga / Comics
I used to be like that too, but after so long its like I can absorb the entire screen and words into my vision all at once. The only time I have a hard time with the subs is if the fansub group used a crappy font or bad colors. That and sometimes I'll come across a scene in an anime that has so much text in such a little time I actually have to pause it to read everything. but usually thats because the sub timing is off. ; -
True, I just assumed she knew spanish because she ran off to mexico at the end of the first movie and then joined up with her hispanic friends for weapons during the second movie.

good points. X'D btw, Japanese Godzilla is the shit.

http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/11925.html Based on that picture of Megan Gale, I could see her playing Wonder Woman. I don't think her boobs are big enough for the role, but she has the body type and look. I bet that damn writer's guild left flaws in the script in anticipation for the strike.

I think all they were doing with that was to make the people he was fighting more significant to the overall plot as opposed to Batman just beating ass on some lackey or purse stealer.

I finally received my rebate two days ago. Took forever. I can only guess a crapload of people sent in black friday rebates for it to have taken this long.

hmm... I can understand leaving mystery in a movie like open-ended questions like that, but for a movie like this I'd assume something like that would be revealed.. Do they fully show the monster at least? or is it a bunch of glimpses of it and destruction? How powerful is the monster compared to Godzilla?
