I was not expecting a robotech movie.. but I'm not that surprised. Now if they wanted to shock us, they'd announce a live action Robotech series to be the new flagship product for the scifi channel. we'll need something new once BSG finishes up. \

umm.. everyone has their own opinion, but I don't see that the animation is cheap at all. Its over a decade old now (1995), 12 something years almost from the original japanese airing. Animation quality has come along way since then. I could go back and watch the original Vampire Hunter D (1985) and say its pretty crappy looking by today's standards, but back then it was the shit.

That was a good chapter.. I like how they explained were the name "Sanin" came from. A salamander badass. X'D It kind of looked like Pain went into that room, closed his eyes and then controlled one of them like an avatar. Maybe thats how he fights? Never putting his own life in danger? The next chapter should be interesting.

I'm sure she must be more powerful than some of the other espada if the only way that guy was able to take her out was with a stealth attack to the head from behind. Now Nell shall own all. I think Seed was better than Destiny. But Destiny had the better mech designs. The overall plot of Seed was far superior than Destiny and honestly Destiny just felt weak in comparison to the first series. Kira made no sense half the time and Athrun seemed to have a mental breakdown, joining basically the eviler side. and that guy who lost his sister.. I can't remember his name. He annoyed the ever loving hell out of me but his strike gundam was pretty sweet. Of course whenever I talk about Gundam Seed or Destiny I speak of them as an offshoot from the main gundam series. Much like gundam wing it has ultra powerful gundams.. but unlike gundam wing, the plot for these two series didn't even match up to wing. and on top of it all, if you've ever seen the original Mobile Suit Gundam series or movie trilogy, you'd realize that Seed and Destiny are just blatant rip offs whereas wing was original. If you liked Seed, go ahead and watch Destiny, but don't expect it to be as good because it more or less felt like a rip off of the original seed series even. its more of a 'people bought the dvds, so lets make another series' show. that gold mecha and the strike were pretty cool tho. *edit* yeah, kira didn't act like a bitch (thank god), but he wasn't a major character in the series for a while tho.

yep. It reminds me of the kenshin dvds. my friend bought all of those and it costed him a large sum of money in the end with only 3-4 episodes a disk. Only buy boxsets on sale for large episode series. I think season 1 went on sale here for around $30-$40. (maybe cheaper, I haven't kept track)

I've seen the commercials for it and I've been wanting to watch it. Are there other superheroes in it besides Dr. Strange? I'm remembering the last marvel animation I watched had the hulk, and a slew of other characters.

*nods* yeah, I didn't know what I was getting into. Good news is, after looking at everyone else's blazer problems, and then looking at all the crap I've now replaced and/or was fixed by the dealership that sold it to me.. once I finish up all this remaining misc. maintenance, it should last for the next 30,000+ miles without any more work (aside from oil changes). *curses NY winters for forcing me to get a 4x4*
