I remember the old days of Street Fighter 2 and all its many incarnations. For the longest time the greatest combo hit was to jump at your opponent with a medium kick and then follow with crouching quick kicks and then a foot sweep or dragon punch. Ah... memories.

heres something interesting. I talked to one of the employees from ebgames today because they had a Wii demo station setup.. but it wasn't on. The employee told me that they were waiting for their nintendo rep to stop bye and drop off the controller and demo disk. I was disappointed because I wanted to try it out. I did notice that there was no tether connection on the demo stand and the guy told me that there will be no tether for the wii demo. The only way they'll hand out the controller to someone to test out the system is if they hand over their driver's license first. So in other words, kids that want to try out the system are going to have to come with an adult with a license.

As far as I can tell, you can't delete the folder, but you can take it off your main window. Click View > Toolbars > and then uncheck Bookmarks Toolbar.

Is it just me, or was anyone else disappointed with the overall objectives of akatsuki? When the leader explained it to hidan a few chapters back, I kept thinking... "thats it!?" wtf. He basically said... "over the next 20 years, we'll establish a ninja base and slowly take over the world by playing an active illuminati role in global politics..." I think thats a load of bullshit. I bet that akatsuki leader actually has an entirely different motive and that was just a cover story to keep everyone semi-informed. I dunno tho, what do you think?

I finally finished reading all the Naruto manga up to the latest chapters. Poor Asuma sensei. Shikamaru is using those chakra blades pretty damn good. I wasn't expecting to see him cast independent shadow bind jutsus like that! who else thinks Kurenai is going to show up to finish those two akatski bastards off?

Does anyone here have a Wii? Or get a chance to play one on demo yet? Whats your impressions of it? I'm interested in seeing how well that virtual console/download game feature works and what the new zelda game plays like.

anyone else notice the new spell check in FF2? pretty spiffy. but I can't stand seeing all quoted usernames being labeled as misspelled. *disables it* I forgot to look at the free extensions. I clicked to install "tab category" and boom, just like IE7's feature. I'm pleased. I've noticed the same.

Has anyone tried out either of these yet? I upgraded to IE 7 a couple weeks ago, but just now got around to upgrading Firefox to version 2. IE 7 finally has tabbed browsing and a sleeker look. And it has a phishing filter and other features that seem to make pages load slightly slower. I'm assuming the security has been upgraded on it as well, but I hate how IE is integrated into the f*ckin OS. Some little language bar popped up on the bottom of my task bar that wasn't there before and I'm assuming theres probably other little bits here an there IE has done to my overall windows xp that I haven't noticed yet. Firefox 2 seems to run about the same, except the look is a bit better. *shrugs* I didn't see much of a difference off hand, but then again, I haven't looked at the changelog for it either. One thing I did like about IE 7 that Firefox does not have is the tab thumbnail viewer. You click a little box and it shows a screen with thumbnail pics of every tabbed window. Pretty nice. Whats everyone else's opinions?

Nice. That use of the tilt feature seems so fitting. If only you could have done that in all the old resident evil games. I saw a PS3 at walmart a couple times now, but I haven't had a chance to play it. but then again, walmart's display has the monitor at some rediculous angle above the shevles so its actually better to watch others play it. The graphics look amazing on that lcd screen, but I gotta ask, do you have it hooked up to a standard tv with s-video? if so, hows the quality? I've never seen what one of the newer gen systems would look like on a standard tv, and I'm interested in knowing how it'd look on my old 27incher.

nooo! swanky gadgetery! eh, but I'm glad they're taking bond in a new direction. I didn't even bother watching the last couple bond movies until they came on the free movie channels. And when I saw Pierce Brosnan kissing Halle Berry.. ew. It was like watching bigfoot molest a princess.

True, and the frames look like they could be easily reproduced. I wouldn't be surprised if half, or probably all, of those Yondaime pics were were just copy and pasted from the kakashi gaiden manga chapters.

Congrats on securing your PS3! What games are you going to pick up over the next couple months? And are you going to buy any blueray movies to test out the quality of the player?

No, just kidding. but did anyone wait outside the stores for the midnight launch?

I don't think Franky will travel with the straw hat pirates. He'll set them up with a ship thaty'll never need a shipwright. but I do hope that he'll go with them tho. Franky is hilarious. X'D

if he had an eternal pose then he could. I keep thinking about how the grand line is set up. they don't have an eternal pose to alabaster, so technically they couldn't find their way back to ever visit vivi again. But with the way the politics and world government is setup, I would assume that anyone could buy eternal poses to just about anywhere.. but then again, it doesn't sound like the average sailor could just do that. maybe free travel is restricted to the marines and politians of the world government. \ if sanji found all blue, he could be faced with the choice of either staying at all blue, or never seeing it again.

They're going to have to make it to elbaf at some point. I just wonder how huge that island will be. for an island to sustain a village, if not villages of giants, that island must be the size of a country like alabaster. and that reminds me, when Saul talked to Robin, he told her not to confuse him with those bruts from elbaf and that there were other islands with giants. I still wonder if they'll have to go to the marine headquarters or that sub base impel down. it sounded like that sub base was underwater too.. maybe the grand line has some underwater islands? kind of like how skypiea was up in the heavens? maybe luffy and the crew will have to travel beneath the ocean somehow? I could see it now.. their log pose pointing straight down to hell.

It doesn't surprise me that the PS3s would sell out. and I bet they'll keep selling for quite a while too, at least until everyone that wants to buy one at that price gets it. then the PS3s will probably take up their real estate spot right next to their stagnant high priced PSPs. X'D I figure the first price drop will be around 2008, so I'll start saving up for it now. thats what I'm looking forward too. There will be an influx of pre-owned games heading to the stores. Everyone will trade in all their games for more credit to the ps3, and I'll be there to buy up all those rpgs I always wanted to get my hands on.

We were emotional it couldn't be helped... -p

rougetown.. I thought the same thing, but do you remember the guy in the fish market that talked to sanji? he said something along the lines that the waters around that island would occassionaly drift sea life from all four oceans to them. its probably the next best place to All Blue, because I'm guessing All Blue has every species of fish swimming in its waters ready to be caught. and yes.. the women are definitely sanji's vice. he'd probably stick around just for Nami~swan. X'D

Has anyone else seen SHUFFLE!? its a romantic comedy that me n eppy watched over this past weekend and it was great! We watched the entire series, I was hooked! The little side conversation popups are awesome and the overall plot was pretty good too.

I was thinking about this the other day.. Sanji's goal is to find All Blue, the place were all the seas of the world connect and every fish can be found in it's waters.. but seeing as they've been to skypiea and they've discovered the white white sea and its strange and rare varieties of fish, do you think All Blue might have a connection to the white sea as well? I remember when they first met up with gan he said he was surprised that someone actually rode the knock-up stream instead of taking the normal path with all the other sky islands.. So I'm assuming that the normal path must have been some kind of connection between the blue sea and the white sea.. maybe thats where All Blue is.. because that would probably be the only connection in the entire world to the white sea. But if thats the case, then others must have obviously found it as well (example: some random pirate ship almost took out the merry before they even went to skypiea). Anyway, if that is where All Blue is, and that is where the legend of All Blue came from, deep in the second half of the grand line, wouldn't that mean they would have to pass it to continue on to One Piece.. and thus leave Sanji behind with his dream?

I could see the cause of the problem being the burner drive itself, but it brings up the blue screen of death? maybe another issue could be memory or temporary harddrive space? when copying/burning a dvd, the software will only recognize/utilize the free space of whatever temporary folder it has on any 1 drive. if the biggest partition on your drive is "C" and it only has 7 gb of space and you're compressing a large 8 gb dvd, you'd need at least 4-8gb of free space just for the compression process. and if you were just at that borderline of free space and you used it all, then you would leave no extra space for window's virtual memory which should use (for probably best pc performance) about 10 percent of your total harddrive space on any one particular drive. you can probably burn cds without any problem because the temporary file sizes are drastically smaller.. but when you go to compress/burn a dvd, you're computer is probably running out of resources and it crashes. try getting your "C" drive to around 15 gb of free space, then try burning a dvd again. if it fails then, its probably your dvd burning drive. oh, and don't forget to check the temp folder your burning software uses. if it crashes like that, its probably leaving the temporary files from those failed burn attempts on your harddrive and you'll have to delete them manually. hope this theory helps some.
