  1. When square enix showed a game I looked over briefly, saw the 8 bit graphics and quickly ignored their entire game presentation. It could be a fun game but thats no better than an indie mobile game at this point. My guess is that its meant to take advantage of the mobile part of the switch. Being 8-bit graphics I bet it'll hardly touch the battery life compared to playing skyrim outside.
  2. Inner man thigh must be the new male version of cleavage.
  3. The game looks great and enjoyable. The cell shading is starting to grow on me a bit more. As long as I don't have to flail my arm around to swing a sword I'm sure I'll love it.
  4. I took a video of last night's Triple Trouble kill. My video capture software gave me just enough lag that I screwed up a bunch of jumps when trying to run kegs. We got the decap with only 15 seconds to spare. lol. Almost screwed the entire map. (edit) lmao. I just noticed the commander of this head is in the screenshot right above the wurm head and hes in downstate.
  5. Good. I bet it'll still get some DLC but not enough to justify a pass tho.
  6. I played a round of operations and conquest last night with my older brother and had a good time. A couple shotguns still seemed a bit OP and my bro got sniped from across the map with a shotgun slug. wtf. But overall the balance of guns felt pretty good in those couple matches. I noticed the gold light tank skin in the battlepack now says (Super Rare). At least they put something on there to indicate it is rarer now.
  7. I looked over my build last night and this morning and completely forgot that I made a custom build and wasn't using the meta build from metabattle.com. lol. I made a combo burn and meditrapper build. I remembered why I was using smite conditions now as a burst. I'm using the Monk's Focus trait that makes meditation skills give fury and heal. Since smite, judge's intervention and renewed focus are all meditation skills they all give me a heal. I have balthazar runes on that make me apply burning whenever I use a heal skill. Since any healing counts, all 3 of those utility skills and wings of resolve apply burning. I'm a burning and healing maniac. When I hit spite every 15 seconds I apply a stack of burning to all enemies near me as well as damage from the skill, cleanse condis and heal myself.
  8. I'll try out purging flames tonight then. The only downside I could think would happen is the AOE circle will encourage more enemies to dodge away from me as opposed to staying within burn range of my torch 4 skill. Smite is decent because it recharges so damn fast and it does slightly more damage per condition I have. The downstate is horrible. Once I go down I just assume I'll die quickly. Necro downstate is so damn strong. lol. Sometimes its best to just run away and let them bleed out unless you have stability to stomp them without getting feared. Thief downstate is annoying as hell. I won't even attempt to stomp them unless I've already seen them teleport somewhere. And even then I have to have half HP or they might wreak me during the stomp process. One thing I have noticed is thieves can be strong as hell in the right hands. Back in season 1 if I had two thieves on my team it was a loss. But now if I see two thieves on my team its about a 75% chance of a win. Mesmers are strong in the right hands too but the skill level is higher for them IMO. Necros I come across have a tendency to run minions and can own an entire team if people don't focus them down. And theres alot of people in bronze that just don't attack the necro or wont condi cleanse at the right time after some bone minions transfer burning to them. Necro MM is so easily countered too.. an engineer or mesmer can still moa them and instant destroy all minions. When I play a necro I will get moa'd once per match.. if I go against necros the mesmer on my team will never land the moa hit. wtf. Rangers and warriors have the best sustain. When I play my warrior unless I get focused by 3 or more players I can usually win a 1 vs 1 and sometimes a 2 vs 1. I seem to have the most difficulty with rangers when I play my guardian. Mostly because of the damn taunt mechanics of the pet. So many times I'll use sword 2 or judge's intervention to teleport to them just to find out I teleported to the damn pet instead because I got taunted 1/4 of a second before I hit the skill button. x_x Btw full trap guardians usually get wreaked by warriors or other guardians. If I'm on my warrior, I'll use shield 5 when approaching the guardian, block the majority of the traps, then use the mace 2 skill to block some more and then burst the hell out of them. If I'm on my guardian I'll pop Shield of Courage before walking onto a point and block the majority of the traps and then burst the guardian. I usually try to save shield of courage to secure a stomp tho. The main reason I use only test of faith and not procession of blades is because test of faith is unblockable. Necros have an easy time against trap guardians too with that one trait that grants retaliation when entering shroud. They'll pop shroud, walk onto the point and trigger all the traps, every trap except test of faith is blockable and subject to retaliation which usually means the guardian bursts themselves right into downstate, then necro hits shroud 3 for stability and gets the stomp.
  9. I'll try Purging Flames. I'm lazy about using smite condition. Half the time I use it as a quick burst of damage more than a condi cleanse. The only time I really save it is when I'm fighting against necros or condi warriors because both can do a massive condi bomb that needs instant cleansing or its death. I tried using shelter and with the dragon hunter meta right now its not worth using imo. Mostly because the cast time takes too long and theres too many unblockable attacks and pulls with AOE spamming that the blocks run out too quick and it gets interrupted. If I see a DH using a heal and I have that half second to realize it, I'll hit them with deflecting shot to knock them back since it's unblockable. That and the skill I think is either bugged or should have its cooldown changed. If the skill gets interrupted it goes on a full cool down instead of interrupted cool down, I think its because the game thinks it was successfully casted since the blocks for shelter start as soon as you start casting. I'll swap to shelter on my pve build tho. I think I had it set for that trap heal and I forgot about it. In pvp that trap is almost always guaranteed to get stepped on and give me a big heal tho.
  10. I decided to start saving some video clips of GW2. Next time I do Triple Trouble I'll save a video of that too. Earlier today I did the last PVP match I needed to make the Wings of Ascension precursor for the Ascension legendary pvp back piece. Heres that last match and at the end of video I toss all 4 wings into the mystic forge to make my precursor.
  11. Lol. Wow, that bullet should have either killed him or fucked him up pretty bad then. Either way Lucille wouldn't have stopped a bullet like that at all. Good video.
  12. I finished season 2 last night and I'm really surprised by how much difficulty the japan and US military were having dealing with a single Ajin. It was a great season but it seemed so implausible to me that no military strategist could devise a fool proof way to neutralize and secure an Ajin. Overall it was a great series but if there was a character like L from Death Note in charge of the police I bet it wouldn't last more than 4 episodes.
  13. Guild Wars 2 released a statement that the pvp legendary back piece will still be obtainable in upcoming seasons... which means I don't have to grind out pvp that much now. ^_^ I'll get my 3 matches a day in still to progress the meta achievements but I'll be turning on my PS4 more often again. I need to play some more Tomb Raider. That game is OCD inducing in a good way.

  14. Thats a good point. It was completely deceptive that it was labeled as the same rarity but wasn't. I still think that Zulu skin had a lower drop rate than the legendaries at the time even though it was listed as blue.
  15. WTF. I watched this video a little while ago. Drop rates like that are complete bullshit. I could understand that some people would want their money back, but its never going to happen. Buying RNG boxes is gambling and should be labeled as such IMO. Its like buying 500 lotto tickets and then asking for a refund because you didn't win the main prize, they'll never get the money back. I bet before they "patched" it, that gold tank skin had about the same odds of dropping as winning the power ball lotto. I'd like to see that law China has get implemented here.
  16. I think I'll hold off on buying this and pick up the remaster set someday for PS4 once I get through some more of my backlog. Thanks guys.
  17. Nvidia is launching an online game streaming service called GeForce NOW. I'm going to quote myself here from another topic: With Playstation having it's own streaming service and now Nvidia making it's own service, having to own physical consoles and PCs specifically for gaming might come to an end within our lifetimes. The downside to the Nvidia service is the cost. I've been seeing the numbers "$25 per 20 hours of gaming" floating around alot. If so, thats a hell of an expense for now. 18. I've never played an Assassin's Creed game before. Does anyone know if this is a good price for all these games considering I'd have to use Uplay (my pc can play them fine)? Or would I be better off picking these up on console during a PSN sale? https://www.humblebundle.com/assassins-creed-bundle
  19. Things got too hectic over the last month for me and I forgot to claim the december and I think november games. oh well. Heres the free games for January:
  20. I went and visited my younger brother in the hospital over the weekend. Just got back home a few hours ago. Hes doing better. Still in rough shape but he should pull through this now. As long as the procedure for his stitches goes well tomorrow (so many stitches he'll need anesthesia), he could be out of the hospital by the end of this week.

  21. I finished the series earlier this week and it got much better. I loved seeing their builds come together and work. The gas at the shooting range was funny but the arm flailing at dinner was the best.
  22. :( 2016 needs to end now. My younger brother had emergency surgery today because of complications from the last surgery. :( He'll be in the hospital for another week. Still waiting on him to wake up from the anesthesia. 2016 has to stop.

He got a massive internal infection from the operation. :( They had to remove some masses of infection from his body. He'll be in the ICU for a week and a regular hospital room for another 2 after that. The next 72 hours is critical for him. :(

Sounds like they didn't give him good enough antibiotics, or perhaps having 2 surgeries already they became ineffective if they gave him the same kind both times. Sheesh.

I think they missed these hematoma blobs when they did the first surgery because it was done with laparoscopy. A week later and they got bigger and one busted which lead to the ER surgery. This time they opened him up straight down his stomach to make sure all the puss sacks were taken out. The doctor is saying he should recover 100% now that he got past this first night but he'll be in the ICU for a week. Hes in rough shape. :(
