Wait.. the pre-order for PSN offers more or different bonuses than pre-ordering from Amazon or gamestop? damn pre-order incentives. x_x Now that a premium version has been announced, if Amazon sells that with the 20% off extra for prime, I'll get it from them regardless just to save $30+. I know I'll buy premium and get every benefit out of it.

Thats a decent theme, but I don't know if its worth $16 tho. I say that because I can pre-order the physical game from amazon and with my prime membership (yep, I liked the free trial and kept the membership. going to try it out for a year.) and I can save 20% at checkout and that knocks $16 off the price. I got my PS+ code emailed to me last night from that discount site I ordered from. I redeemed it this morning with no problems. My PS plus membership doesn't expire until January 2018 now.

I'm really surprised thats not a feature. One feature I'd like is to change the menu's background wallpaper image like I could on the PS3 instead of buying some crap theme from PSN. I found out that custom backgrounds were blocked because of people using it as an exploit to mod the PS3 to play illegally downloaded games. The PS4 has been out for almost 3 years now and I'm still using a free Hobbit theme because the PSN store has some of the crappiest themes I've ever seen. Even the PS3 had better themes in the first year.

DX mentioned this to me earlier today. In one month the price will increase for PS+ by $10 per year. Not a huge increase, but it'll now be $59.99 starting September 22 2016: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/07/27/playstation-plus-free-games-for-august-2016/ On a side note, I ordered a year's subscription from this site for $37.99 on sale: http://www.saugagamers.com/product/playstation-plus-12-month-subscription-card-digital-delivery $42.99 - $5.00 using promo code THANKYOU. I found the deal on slickdeals: http://slickdeals.net/f/8965647-playstation-plus-12-months-37-99-digital-delivery I haven't gotten my code emailed to me yet, but the company updated their front page a few hours ago saying it could take a couple days for them to send out the codes because they're getting so many orders in. With the price increase I doubt it'll get much cheaper than this since even last black friday it was only on sale for $39.99.

Ah that's good to know. I forgot to mention the side arm issue. I could have sworn in TF1 we could swap to a sidearm pistol with the weapon swap button and hit a dpad button to swap to an anti-titan weapon. But it looks like TF2 will only let us have 1 secondary weapon. I don't understand their logic in limiting the weapon combos like that.

I was laughing so hard after I nailed that shot. There was a couple more things I didn't like with the controls. I wanted to swap melee and crouch buttons but that wasn't an option at all. And ADS with sniping never felt right for me. I was more accurate with my assault rifle with the default speed setting, but I was better with sniping with the classic setting. I'd have focused more on it but it felt like sniping was completely counter productive with scoring. I got 8 kills in one round by camping the home point area and focusing on sniping at B. In the end of the round I was in last place on the team and only contributed 25 points. They really want you to play the objective in this game. Even tho my team won and at a couple points my sniping did contribute to us taking B and amping it, my score was abysmal.

I was probably lucking out versus my opponents then. Only 1 titan I came across actually used their defensive shield move and most Ions I fought had horrible aim. I knew to run when I saw that chest laser start up. That attack is way to strong. But in melee range Scorch seemed to do loads of damage. I also only came across 1 other Scorch that actually used that incendiary grenade attack but they never ignited it. As long as I got that at the feet of the enemy titan and started unloading grenades to ignite it, the fire gives a really good dps increase.

Uncharted Highlights - Explosions and ball busting (no spoilers)
Sledgstone posted a blog entry in Sledge's Blog
This is a highlight reel of explosions and dick punches from my playthrough of the Uncharted collection on PS4. There are no spoilers in this clip, just a few inappropriate dick punches, explosions and glitches. -
Oh man.. where to start. I got about 4 hours in today. At first I was disappointed for getting killed left and right but once I started learning the maps it got much easier. The TTK really threw me off. I was not expecting everyone to die from only a couple bullets. Now its whoever sees the other person first wins. Map knowledge gives a huge advantage in that regard. The issue I have with the TTK is that its so fast I have absolutely no interest in trying slower shooting weapons with less range. I looked at the stats for the machine guns, saw the range was half of that of the assault rifle and never bothered to even try them. As long as you have range you'll kill everyone with ease. It reminds me of the cycler rifle from the battlefront beta. Grappling hook is almost mandatory to me. In the first Titanfall game the maps were setup in such a way that it encouraged endless parkour, wall run here, jump off, wall run on the adjacent building, double jump off it, wall run on the next one, get endless height easily and fast. But the maps in the TF2 beta don't allow nearly the same amount of mobility. Its like I'm playing Call of Duty with mechs now. The anti titan weapons are a joke compared to the first game. They do so little damage. In TF1 there would be so many titans getting summoned down all the time. It was chaotic and fun. The anti-titan weapons would shred them apart tho. One pilot could easily destroy an enemy titan with 2-3 shots. But it was alot easier for the titans to kill pilots. Trying to kill pilots with a titan is a pain in the ass in TF2. I don't know what they were thinking with this. Pilots have such a huge advantage over Titans. Its like they changed the weapon damage so only pilots can effectively kill pilots and only titans do decent damage to titans. In TF1 you could tear thru pilots with ease. You could walk on them for and instant kill, turn around quickly and melee one jumping at you, shoot almost any weapon and have AOE damage severely hurt or kill them. But in TF2 you have to pinpoint hit them to get a kill in one shot. wtf. Its like trying to hit a fly with a whip. lol. That and the grappling hook is too OP in this encounter. You can grapple hook the titan at any angle and get the battery damage done, whereas in TF1 you could only rodeo by jumping on them from behind if I remember right. Now for the titans. At first I liked Ion but Scorch quickly became my favorite because it was easier to get kills with. I don't know why you guys didn't like that Titan. It was pretty good for me. These titans do suck compared to the titans in TF1. All the balance seems way off to me. Scorch's best offense was that ignitable incendiary gas grenade by hitting the triangle button. Shoot that at a titan's feet and then shoot it with a regular attack to ignite it and that enemy titan melts quick. I tried to use it to kill an enemy pilot that mounted me, but if you walk into your own fire you melt the crap out of yourself while doing no damage to the pilot on your back. There is really no defense against that battery removal. I thankfully had some teammates that occasionally jumped on my back with an extra green battery. I can see how it promotes some team work, but if they went back to the spawn rates of Titanfall 1 they'd never need this game mechanic since everyone would get another new titan in less than 2 minutes anyway. Even though I sound pretty negative in the post, my actual experience was rather enjoyable. However I don't know if its necessarily because it was Titanfall, or if it was just scratching an FPS itch I've been neglecting. It still felt more like I was playing a call of duty game than a sequel to Titanfall. The lack of AI in all game modes seems like a bad call to me seeing as that was a key feature in the first game. The bounty hunt mode didn't appeal to me at all because the bank aspect wasn't fun and the games were consistently one sided with many people quitting on one team once they started loosing. Pilot vs Pilot is basically call of duty with parkour so I never played it because I want titans in titanfall just like I want vehicles in battlefield. Heres the highlights from my game time today and its mostly titan clips. A couple of my video saves didn't save exactly what I wanted for some reason. I don't know if its because I waited until I died to save the clip and it went just past the 15 minute mark or if it was an issue with my PS4 not saving the clip right. At the end of this video I was in that pod in the middle of the map with another teammate and watch it closely. He died and then glitched, floating in front of me and acted like a human shield. Edit: I highly doubt I survived for 15 minutes at any point in this game. I'm going to guess I probably forgot to hit the share button at the right time or because I saved a screenshot by hitting the wrong button it reset the 15 minute recording time. I didn't get a single clip of my incendiary grenade combo. The one really good titan kill I got with it is at the beginning of one of the clips in the video where I finished a titan off with melee. Oh well.

I was thinking starcraft so it'd be a futuristic RTS game with humans versus the crystal zombies. But that could easily apply to being warcraft and have the game set during snake eater years when snake had to forage in the woods. And if it was minecraft style all those crystal zombies would explode if they got to close.

Everyone kept an open mind and gave BF1 the benefit of the doubt.. and they delivered with the same base game mechanics in a new era with amazing gameplay that lives up the predecessors of the series before it. But Metal Gear survive changes the entire premise of the series and delivers a game that has nothing to with any of the previous games except for killing things with guns. Seeing as they've made a Metal Gear Pachinko and now we have Metal Gear Survive, I bet they'll branch it out to every genre now. Soon we'll get a Metal Gear Go-kart, Metal Gear Go, Metal Gear Dating Sim, Metal GearCraft, etc.

I forgot to turn my ps4 on to download this beta earlier or I would have tried this today. I'll get on there tomorrow and try it out. My younger brother tried it out and was disappointed. He said he played 3 rounds and never saw a single titan. I'm guessing with the AI being removed people can hardly get the points needed to get a titanfall. I read someone else call the titans the equivalent of a kill streak now that there is no base timer. I'm really surprised there isn't a base timer now. The little I played of Titanfall 1 was enjoyable because no matter how bad I sucked, I still got a mech to pilot around. The AI in the first game prevented alot of spawn camping from what I remember. Also, my brother tried it on his xbox one instead of his ps4. On Xbox one it showed up as 'pre-alpha' as a download. This doesn't sound too promising considering the release date is only 2 months from now and they're not even running a beta for the PC version.

I loved hiding just outside the cap radius. I'd let the tank roll in, cap it and then wait until he was halfway to the next flag and start capping just to neutralize it. Half of them would turn around and come back, but by then I'd have already prepped a c4 jeep and been waiting to spring my trap. I suicided often.

I beat The Walking Dead: Michonne tonight. Poor Michonne. The end really makes you feel for her. The action in the game was decent but was very short. It was only 3 episodes but compared to the original two TWD games Telltale has done, the Michonne game's length is equal to 1 and half of those episodes. I was also confused as to the time line of the game. I kept wondering why she had a machete and not her katana. I looked it up just now and the game takes place after some event in the comic where Michonne leaves the group for some reason. And this is the side story of that. But they don't hint at that at all. The entire time I thought the game was taking place before she even met Rick's group at all. Overall it was worth playing for the $5 is cost me. But aside from a few choices that could have changed things, this game could easily be watched on a lets play instead.

Ohhh.. its her ult. I thought it was her icicle projectile they were talking about. Her ult going thru barriers isn't nearly as big of a nerf as I thought it was. lol. I'm surprised they nerfed Ganji's mobility but then buffed Hanzo's mobility while aiming. Theres going to be alot more Hanzo being played.

This game is just a money grab. All the models in the game already existed except for the zombies and the engine is extremely flexible. This probably took them 6 months to develop, has no plot and probably no voice acting. Watch the game be more of a rip off of Evolve and they'll have a giant crystal zombie looking metal gear monster as an enemy. It wouldn't be a metal gear game without a giant mech in it. I bet thats what the huge thing was that everyone was startled by at the end of the trailer. If they really wanted to spit on Kojima's legacy they'll have a pachinko mini game as an easter egg in this game.

I wonder if there will be other limitations with the elite classes that haven't been revealed yet. That flamethrower guy looks heavy and slow, I don't see how he could effectively ride a horse. I never got the chance to even try WALL-E. I even camped the spot it spawned at on numerous occasions. Nobody would be there until 30 seconds before it spawned then an entire mini battle would happen with 2-3 people from both teams knowing exactly when it would respawn. If the elite classes in BF1 spawn in the same 'hard to find, but once found, always there' locations we'll have the same thing happen. That .50 cal sniper was my favorite battle pickup. I always got a guaranteed 3-4 kills with. The MLG 320 was brutal in tight spots. I'd just spam those grenades and accidentally kill people.

So she should be able to put up an ice barrier and now shoot thru it? That could be quite useful. I wonder if this is what they mean. If so she should be able to shoot thru Reinhardt's shield and Winston's barrier too. That could be quite powerful. I remember in the beta I was one shot killing people with a head shot with that attack.

Ok then. I did not see this coming. Who needs stealth mechanics and espionage when theres a horde of zombies to kill.

I forgot to play the demo I downloaded a month and a half ago. I'll play it this week. The first trailer has a scene that looks like the exact same hallway from the P.T. demo. With all the hiding this game looks more like a Silent Hills game than a Resident Evil game.

I see how the horses can be beneficial to use over a motorcycle now. Having them auto jump over obstacles could be extremely useful. I don't like the idea of elite classes at all. With them being battle pickups we'll see the same issues as Battlefront. People will quickly learn where they spawn at and if they're fun to use or OP, the same people will get them consistently. As long as these elite classes aren't OP then there might not be an issue with them. But if there is an assignment with "get 5 kills with a flamethrower" then I'm going to assume that spawn location will get camped by a good chunk of people at all times.

Amazing how any news about a celebrity can go viral but news about a nuclear power plant leaking for 4 years only gets covered by the local press.

RNGesus loves you. I think I might be a little too OCD for this game. I would explore every single planet. lmao. Every planet would take me a month to explore and then I'd move on to another one only to repeat the cycle of discovering everything there. On a more darker theme... do you think its possible to kill all life on a single planet? If you can evade the sentinels like you were saying, could you eventually slaughter every living thing on a planet? Or would the sentinels eventually go full armada on you to stop your killing spree?
