  1. If theres going to be bigger maps and it'll be full next gen and PC only, then they'll either increase the player count or add more NPC enemies. I'd like to see a larger player count and maybe break away from the 6 vs. 6 call of duty style.
  2. Lmao. I didn't know any of that and I only vaguely know the characters you are referring to. I don't remember any plot from Warcraft 1 except for the fact that Orcs had to leave their dying world and they came to earth to take over / take land to inhabit. If this movie is based on only WC1, then they could do anything with the plot and it'll be good for me. But if theres some WC2 and WC3 mixed into this, then it could be trying to cover way way too much in a single movie.
  3. That battle system is straight out of Chrono Trigger. An old school style RPG game on current gen consoles and not a handheld exclusive. Finally. Square Enix, please continue doing this.
  4. Alot of the humor in Warcraft was subtle but plentiful. Mostly modified or direct quotes from movies, games, etc: http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_pop_culture_references_in_Warcraft/W123 Thats why I was thinking more of a Guardians of the Galaxy kind of humor. Keep a fully serious plot, but keep some references in there for the kicks. Then again, a Warcraft movie having a quote from Army of Darkness might get them sued, while in an old game its no big deal at this point. lol. I also remember Goblin Sappers were pretty damn funny at the time.. But putting suicide bomber humor into a movie would definitely not sit to well with audiences. I'm still looking forward to watching this too. I'm sure I'll still enjoy it regardless of reviews.
  5. Sounds like they were trying to make Warcraft into a Lord of The Rings style movie but failed. They should have hired Peter Jackson if thats what they wanted. I can understand why the movie went with everyone speaking english instead of using subtitles for the orcs, but they would have been speaking orcish in Warcraft 1. They could have had some magic casted on the humans to understand the orcs or something as an excuse, but to think that the same language developed on an entirely different planet is pretty absurd. I don't necessarily agree with the author of that article saying the movie should have been more campy. Sure Warcraft has some good humor in it, but it could have easily been pulled off as a serious LoTR movie. But if this movie was made with a balance of action and humor like Guardians of the Galaxy, it could have been epic.
  6. I finished this series tonight. I was pleased with it. I loved the amount of violence in it. I just wish the main character was "the guy with the hat" than the young guy (whatever his name is. lmao). That guy was too boring and naive. The animation style takes a bit to get used to tho. Its like they took the animation style of RWBY and made it more anime based.. but then lowered the character's FPS so it seems like nobody actually moved fluidly. Kind of odd.
  7. I played the original Uncharted on PS3 and I'm playing the remaster now on PS4 so I can refresh my memory before I jump into Uncharted 2 and then 3. I found something out last night. If you shoot an enemy a couple times and then punch them to finish them off you get 1 of 3 unique kill animations. 1 is a roundhouse punch to the face that knocks the guy on his ass, another is a drop kick kill and my favorite and most frequent kill is a slide between / under the enemy's legs and punch them in the balls while sliding. XD I love killing people by punching them in the balls now. XD I never knew this was a thing the first time I played the game. XD Oh.. and hip firing while running auto targets enemies. This is so much easier my second time playing this. And grenades seem way easier to get kills with now. I'm going to have to try to dick punch people in the other uncharted games next. XD

I'm about 70% through the first one. The jet skiing up river part really pissed me off with bad design. Actually all the wave runner areas are bad with insane amount of explosive barrels. You'd be better riding on a slow boat and shooting them. The wave runner is pointless because if you try to run through it you'll just die from enemies shooting them as you go by.

      I hated that part on the PS3 and I hated it again on the PS4. I just got through the last wave rider part and what a pain in the ass it can be. The last part is impossible to just go thru fast because the three enemies will rip you to shreds with bullets. you have to go slow on the last part and pick them and the barrels off with Elena's gun. The first couple jet ski parts aren't difficult at all considering Elena has an endless grenade gun that explodes everything on impact. XD But then the last ski part is 20x more difficult with the waves and you only have a crappy hand gun. -_-;

I finished Uncharted 1 tonight. Running while hip firing is so vital in the last 5 or so chapters of the game. I still don't understand stealth in this game. I got only 1 stealth kill ever. I swear every enemy knows my exact location as long as I'm within 20 feet of them. I could be behind a wall, see a guy walk away, start walking slowly behind them and that guy will shout "there he is!", then turn around and shotgun me. eh. Other than that its still a fun game. Those last 5 chapters turns the difficultly up huge tho. I beat it on normal, screw the last quarter of the game on higher difficulties than that. x_x

  8. I set it to DVR, but haven't watched it yet. Alot of shows I've been watching have had their season finales this last week and / or this week. I'll have time later this week to check it out.
  9. I hope Blizzard continues making more of these animated shorts after the game launches. I'd really like to see an animated series or a movie.
  10. https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/flash-sale/cid=STORE-MSF77008-FLASHSALEWEBLP This is decent sale. A bunch of games for $5 or less. I just bought Killzone Shadow Fall for $5 so I can play the campaign.
  11. Heres both of the trailers: The first trailer doesn't make much sense with that "30 years ago" part at the beginning. This movie is a full reboot and not a sequel, so those events from 30 years ago never happened in this time line. This movie looks like it could be fun, but something seems a bit off with it. Aside from casting all women, it feels like a rehash of the original property without giving it something really new to focus the reboot around. The new weapons could be cool.
  12. Right after Mythbusters gets canceled, this show gets made. I wonder how many youtubers will try to bust all the new MacGyver stuff with recreations. This new MacGyver looks like a kid with bad hair. If hes going to have long hair, he needs to go full mullet or gtfo.
  13. This is a pretty pointless first look of the logo of the new series. The thing that caught my eye was at the end were it looks like the show will actually be on CBS and not online streaming only. Turns out thats not the case. The first episode will premiere on CBS and the rest of the season will be only available with the CBS All Access streaming package for $6 a month. It'll be completely stand alone and wont tie into the movies either. I'll probably skip this series.
  14. Yeah, I had no interest in Hardline. I'll stick to DICE only battlefields. That assignment sounds like complete BS.
  15. I watched these two videos this morning and it makes Final Fantasy XV look amazing.. why the hell did they make this little kid demo? I just don't get it. This game looks amazing and that demo was a kingdom hearts little kid crapfest to me. Any of these scenes would have been an amazing demo to play and have sold me on this game hands down. I'd have thrown my money at Square Enix.
  16. EA did screw DICE with battlefront apparently. The game was rushed to meet the deadline of releasing alongside with the movie: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ea-explains-why-star-wars-battlefront-didnt-have-s/1100-6439898/ If DICE actually had the time to work on Battlefront like they did have with BF1, I bet the game would have been amazing. But if future Star Wars games are set to be released alongside movie release dates, I'll never buy one again until I see a full review for it after release. After reading this, I'll assume any and all future Star Wars games will be rush jobs if they release around the same time as a movie.
  17. Your post screams of commercialism. It has specific keywords listed throughout it and you threw some links to holawallpaper in there, but the links have no tracking codes. Were you hired by them to make gateway pages like this on forums to increase search engine results? If so, whats the going rate for a job like this? Does it get monotonous after a while?
  18. Yeah, they're still charging about $10 a month I think in modem rental fees. I'm still contemplating buying my own modem from the authorized list to save that fee. Hmm.. I don't think I'll ever do alot of streaming. All my AFKing would probably lead to me having 0 followers. And this is just great news.. Right when Time Warner is finally getting better, they'll now be history in a few years. They are officially owned by Charter Communications now. x_x http://deadline.com/2016/05/charter-closes-time-warner-cable-deal-1201758772/
  19. If Nintendo had Pixar make their movies while maintaining control of the property so another "Super Mario Bros." live action fiasco never happens again, they could make some really awesome movies. But if Nintendo teams up with some companies in Japan that did the live action death note or attack on titan movies, this could lead to some huge flops. 21. I got some notifications from Time Warner that I can now upgrade my modem to take advantage of higher internet speeds. I thought it was a spam email at first until I got an actual letter from Time Warner telling me the same thing. Seeing that Time Warner has never once improved their network in my area, I assumed all their profits went straight to their shareholders and they'd never improve their actual infrastructure. Turns out I was wrong. Time Warner is actually improving their service. Holy crap. Turns out they've been rolling out these upgrades across the country for a few years now and my area is finally ready. Check out the new speeds: http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/enjoy/better-twc/internet.html I'll be requesting my new modem today. Once I get it I'll most likely reduce my plan too. I am on the extreme plan which will now be "Ultimate 200". I can drop my internet down to the new extreme plan now. I'm not streaming 4k netflix and at this time and I don't think I'll need a 200/20 MBPS connection. Anyone else get an upgrade to your internet?
  22. Those people must have really liked Kingdom Hearts then. The only good part of this demo is the last 3 minutes with the Iron Giant fight. The character instantly turns from child to adult and you get to actually experience combat. If the entire demo was like this I'd have been happy. I'd have still complained that the camera needs some work, but I wouldn't have had as much of a negative view of it. I saw some people said "its such a deeper demo than people realize".. or "its a tech demo thats not meant to show what the actual game is going to be like, just a showing of the capabilities SE has made with the engine." and "this demo shows some of Nocht's childhood dreams that will be referenced in the new FFXV anime and not tie into the game." wtf. This demo was not presented to me as a "tech demo". I take it as face value. If this demo is a fraction of the actual game, then it means we'll have flash backs to little kid crap that I have no interest in. And if the game is going to have it's plot broken up over numerous properties like a PS4 game, an anime, a handheld game, a comic, more DLC and then a sequel that actually finishes the plot on a different console or handheld system I don't own *Looking at you Kingdom Hearts* they need to come clean with that now so I can avoid this game altogether. If thats not going to be the case and this will be a stand alone game with a plot all on it's own, I'll be good with that. But after this demo I have far more doubts about this game than I ever imagined I would have. I'll wait for a full game review before I even consider buying this game now. Btw, instead of playing the demo, watch this video and skip around through it to see what I'm talking about. You'll get to see Nocht running around collecting crystals like sonic the hedgehog collecting rings. And he gets to throw fireworks and attack enemies aka heartless from kingdom hearts with a toy sword and squeaky hammer in an Alice in Wonderland style dream. The entire demo should have been just the Iron Giant fight at the end and I'd have been pleased.
  23. I played this demo a few weekends ago and I was not impressed at all. I've been looking forward to a new Final Fantasy game for years and this particular game has been in development for what.. 20 years I think? Its a game that was scrapped and revitalized and renamed numerous times and is finally getting released. All the previews of the game looked interesting. A freestyle fighting system, teleporting sword play, and a bunch of guys driving around in a car while seeing huge monsters roaming the wild. So I got the demo and what a disappointment. This is the kind of demo that makes me glad I didn't preorder this. Wtf. I booted it up and instead of all the cool stuff I saw in the trailers, my character is a little kid with a squeaky hammer weapon. It felt like I was playing Kingdom Hearts again. The camera was crappy and the graphics were unimpressive as if made for PS3. I have a bad feeling that this game is going to tank since Square Enix thought this demo must have been good since they released it to the public. It makes perfect sense that Square Enix's next Final Fantasy game will be a remake of FF7. They obviously have no idea what they are doing with making a new game at this point. I don't want some kiddy Kingdom Hearts crap. I want an epic RPG that will suck me into the world and make me feel for the characters and feel invested in the plot. Instead I got a demo that makes me want to not even look at any more footage of this game and completely forget about it even existing at this point. Maybe it'll be good, but I sure as hell am not going to buy this on launch day now. Its pretty messed up too. If not for this demo, I would have bought this on launch day guaranteed. This is the first time a demo has actually made me change my plans on buying a game.
  24. I finally got around to finishing Wolfenstein: The New Order last night. The plot was good and the overall experience was great. Well worth the $7 I got the game on sale for during a PSN sale. Dual wielding weapons seemed a bit pointless for most of the game until you get to the last areas and it becomes pretty vital. The officers in the game could call in reinforcements so it was best to kill them first. After you get an upgrade you can detect their communications signals and it encourages you to play a bit of a stealth game to kill them off first and then sweep up the rest of the enemies afterwards. Sneaking around thru some duct work and access passages to throw a knife in the back of some guy's head or use a silenced pistol was pretty damn fun. But the real fun of this game is to go full guns blazing and destroy everything in your path. I died so many times doing that in the second part of the game. lol. Some enemies have some extremely strong metal armor on and take quite a beating. I was a fan of the original Wolfenstein and even though this felt like a completely different game from the original (thats actually a good thing tho. Nobody wants 8-bit fps games now. ), it was very enjoyable. I thought this would be a WW2 game, but aside from the beginning, the game actually takes place in the aftermath of the war in which the Nazi's won. The Nazi weaponary in this timeline heavily borrowed from Nikola Tesla. The Tesla grenade was good, but my favorite weapon the Laserkraftwerk was the best. Throughout the game you keep finding upgrades for it too. I still need to play Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, the stand alone DLC game. Its a prequel that takes place during WW2, so I know there will wont be a laser gun in it for me, but I'm sure I'll find some other favorite weapon.

    Dark Souls

Since you have 99 hours in, then I'm guessing you've already beaten the game? And all the stuff you're doing is the end game content of beating high end pve bosses and getting the best gear in the game? Do any of these end game bosses expand on the plot of the game? Or are they there purely for the challenge?
